  1. The week before last When was the last time you bought something at a mall?
  2. Yes. Have ever broken a bone?
  3. Yes and no. Never had the chicken, only waffle fries. Have you ever ridden a horse?
  4. Firehawk, in October. When was the last time were injured?
  5. 1. What is the farthest distance you've traveled to specifically visit a theme park? Roadtrip across the US and back to hit up a few theme parks (and sightsee). CP, SFGAdv, BGW were the highlight parks. 2. Your favorite coaster in the state you live in? Maverick 3. Would you rather wait in line for a boomerang (at any park) or a VR coaster @ a Six Flags? I haven't been on a VR coaster yet 4. Have u ever been the only person in a train during a coaster ride? Last year I was the only on Flying Ace Arial Chase when I hit it up. I'm sure there are others but that one specifically comes to mind for the questionable shame. 5. What is your favorite thing to do at your home park that does not involve riding something? Does Haunt count? 6. Better time for ERT: Early morning or late night? Night! 7. Name some theme park food that *sounds* gross, yet is oh-so-delicious? Stuff that sounds gross to me is delicious to you 8. Name your top three "bucketlist" coasters you have yet to ride. 1305, Outlaw Run, Expedition GeForce (I'll probably hit 2/3 this year!) 9. Have you ever been E-Vac'd? Did you receive anything if you did? Nope 10. What is the longest length of time you've waited for a coaster? 2 hours 11. Worst flat ride ever. Name it. Gravitron on a hot sweaty fair day after you've eaten questionable fair food and haven't drank enough water 12. Your favorite SWEET treat at a park that is NOT your home park. Dollywood's cinnamon bread, hands down! 13. Congratulations! After aggressively gambling on the Plinko game you finally won a front of the line pass. Which ride do you use it on? Lightning Rod because it might be your last chance 14. If you could have a lifetime fast pass to ONE attraction what would it be? Maverick 15. Have you ever been next to someone that puked on a coaster? On a flat, yes 16. Your home park is getting a new B&M and YOU get to pick what type. Do you want an invert/hyper/dive/floorless/flyer/wing/standup? All of the above is not an option. Is giga an option? Giga should always be an option. Otherwise, wing coaster at KI. (Who the f*ck would pick standup?!?) 17. Name your favorite Vekoma. Firehawk 18. What water ride delivers the most unacceptable amount of wetness? River rapids rides, especially if people get you with the squirters 19. If you were able to help design a coaster would you want it to focus on airtime or inversions/positive G's? I'd want it to focus on pissing off enthusiasts the most 20. Most comfortable trains/seats for a coaster are... B&M hypers (in the back, with a little bit of "room") 21. Choose one: Unlimited front-of-the-line access to your favorite coaster at your home park for one season OR $1,000 cash? $$$$ 22. You just got drowned by a flume/rapids/chute-the-chutes. Do you pay the $$ for the dryer machine or do you continue on with your day trudging around like soggy dog? Pshh I'm a grown woman, tough it out! Save the dryer money for a cold beer while I dry off in the sun! 23. What is the worst food you've had at your home park? Haven't eaten at KI much but at SFDK.... the fish. 24. You're at Cedar Point. You have a one hour ERT session on ONE coaster of your choice. You choose... Maverick 25. Favorite (non-clone) dark ride? I'm not sure if Harry Potter would be counted as a clone, but I loved that ride! 26. What was your favorite park you visited in 2016? It's hard to choose just one! I'll say Knoebels 27. What's your current credit count? Don't be shy. Close to 190 28. Winner winner chicken dinner! You just won a trip with hotel and airfare included. The catch is its only good for Six Flags America or Mt Olympus. Which do you choose? I'll go for Six Flags. 29. What is the best Intamin coaster you have ridden? Skyrush 30. Your home park has to remove one coaster and one flat for an expansion. Which two rides would you be OK with losing? Vortex and idk, the pirate ship at KI. 31. Song/music you've heard playing at a park that absolutely has not business being played in a theme park? Can't think of one in particular 32. There's 5 minutes before the park closes. You choose to: Reride your favorite coaster in the park, OR get the new kiddie/junior coaster credit? Rerides 33. Do you visit the waterpark if it's connected to the amusement park? Nope 34. What 2017 addition are you most looking forward to? Mystic Timbers 35. What was the most disappointing addition to your home park in the past 10 years? At SFDK, the Larson Loop 36. The most overrated coaster ever is... Bizarro at SFNE. I liked it, but it never blew me away. 37. What ride makes you wanna vomit? Any coaster named Vortex, when I look at it from afar. 38. What is the best consolation prize you've won at a games booth? Walking past the games booth and not spending my money 39. And the worst? Getting verbally assaulted by the games booth attendants as I walk past without spending any money 40. End this questionnaire by posting a picture of your favorite light package (coaster/flat).
  6. Did I see that correctly or did they credit TPR for a Sheikra video in reference to SFNO? Anyway, thanks for sharing. My parents said something about seeing it on the news like, "Did you know Six Flags New Orleans has been closed since Hurricane Katrina?" Then my mom followed it up with, "Did you ever visit the park?" She knows my dad and I visited New Orleans, but that was 2009. Mom, I lived with you 2006 and prior and I'm pretty sure I never went to New Orleans.
  7. Should we bring the boat into this conversation? Or maybe cargo shorts. But really, I don't think we're arguing, just being optimistic since GCI's track record has been pretty solid lately. I'm not about to look through the pictures and say which element is going to deliver what forces, but I'm definitely looking forward to this ride. Plus Ohio is getting very very boring this time of year. So anything to look forward to is a good thing in my book.
  8. ^^Makes me sad that it has to be that way, but if opening up an event will ruin your time because it opens it up for stupid people, I totally get why you don't do it any more. I wish there was some way to filter them out But I still appreciate all of the other things you do for us and this site! I wouldn't spend my time on here if TPR wasn't 95% cool kids
  9. People will definitely compare Beast to Mystic Timbers, as they seem to compare any two wooden coasters (I swear I heard someone compare El Toro to RT at some point, and RMC conversions to wooden coasters ), but hopefully over time will see Mystic Timbers and Beast for how different (but still great in their own ways) they are. I could be wrong, but I envision that Mystic Timbers might give us a surprisingly quick and air-time filled ride. I admit I haven't been staring at the photos, because I want to be surprised when I ride it (including the shed), but some of the humps looked promising. I remember when Gold Striker opened, we had high hopes, but it blew even our highest hopes away. I have my sneaking suspicion that this coaster might turn out like that too. The newer GCIs have really outperformed the older ones for me, with the exception being Thunderhead. If this rides anything like Gold Striker, Prowler, American Thunder, White Lightning, or Thunderhead, it will be amazing. I know the GP will compare any wooden coasters, but my point is that after they ride Mystic Timbers they will get over the fact that it isn't as long, tall, and fast. The ride will feel much more crazy and out of control than the majority of The Beast does. I don't think it will ever have the local hardcore fan base that The Beast has though. I've never seen a coaster as adored by the public at any park. Kennywood's Jack Rabbit (or all of their coasters really) are one of the few that seem to resonate so strongly with average guests. Ah I beg to differ about Thunderhead. Maybe we just hit it on a good day, but that was our favorite coaster at Dollywood. It just felt so out of control and downright fun! I totally agree with you on your points. I feel the majoring of people will go into it thinking "It's smaller than The Beast" and come off it going, "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?? "
  10. Exactly. Why get a new train for a coaster when you can get an entirely new coaster? Those Larson Super Loops are great coasters, and people will love this. This new roller coaster has put this park on the map for me. Planning a visit right now, and I'll be running right over to this new yellow roller coaster as soon as I get there. I'm honestly really surprised this new yellow looping roller coaster is not on more "most anticipated roller coasters of 2017" lists. It goes forwards and backwards. And let's face it - there aren't too many roller coasters that go forward and backwards where you can go face to face with a complete stranger and possibly even have them throw up right on your face. Face your fears for a unique experience, guys. Man, I would really love to experience a rollback on this coaster. It's always been my dream to experience a rollback on a Larson Super Loop. I'd love that even more than I'd want a rollback on Dragster. Like 11293210938x more!
  11. That's the thing, there weren't really any rules, but you had people who decided they were going to "make up" rules, and then become the police for their own made-up rules, telling other people what they can and can't do, etc, etc... I remember at one point having to shout at a group of people saying something like "FFS people, you hold a cup of water on the roller coaster. THAT'S IT!!! The idea here isn't about it being some stupid competition the idea is that you CAN'T NORMALLY DO THIS DURING THE DAY AND IT'S A FUN AND COOL THING TO DO so shut the FUUUUCK up, stop your complaining, go grab a cup of water and HAVE FUN!!!!" And then people still continued to argue over what was the right and wrong way to hold a cup of water or what "counted" towards your score, etc... In case you haven't noticed, I've pretty much "given up" on humanity, which most certainly includes idiot self-entitled insecure die-hard fact checking roller coaster nerds. We don't need them. The rest of you who can have FUN at a park without being super annoying, you're welcome to stay here and hang out! I still tell my friends about doing the water cup challenges with you guys at Bay Area Bash! They were a lot of fun and it sucks that people messed it up at other parks We weren't even playing for any prizes (that I knew of at least), it just really was cool to do something fun you couldn't do during the day. So I do thank you for the awesome memories! Not to toot my own horn, I was pretty good at it on Medusa, so I like to see my friend's reactions when I tell them how much water I kept in my cup

  13. Yes Do you ever still play Pokemon Go?
  14. I'm still confused about how it's different from VR, maybe because I still haven't used any of the VR coasters. Seems like it should work out better than the VR technology and I hope that is the case.
  15. Yes Do you like frozen pizza?
  16. No, but that would be nice! Do you have the newest version of whichever smartphone you prefer?
  17. Yesterday and going again in T-minus 2 hours When was the last time you drank a beer?
  18. Count me in for opening day as well, I just found out that that's the start of my Spring Break! I could really use it already
  19. Dang this thread has been a mess, so I do appreciate any "weeding out" Robb has done and hopefully it will be a lot better in here! I'm still very looking forward to Winter Chill-Out (It's honestly the only thing I have planned this month) whether or not we will be able to see or take any photos of Mean Streak. I think a lot of us (at least me!) have grown "used" to leaks and construction progress photos, but patience can pay off. Whether this is going to be the most "OMFG I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE EVER!" coaster or not, I'm still looking forward to whenever the park announces this. Oh, and I, too, am glad that the reusable bottles are returning. I don't really like carrying them around all day, but I don't like the idea of endless disposable cups. I'm just imagining the Maverick pond floating with a sea of disposable cups that people threw in there. Just no. It's easy to refill the bottles with water if you don't want soda and don't want to wait in line. Even if you don't want to buy the most recent "year" of cup, I've brought them just to refill with water.
  20. Yes. Have you bought a new computer in the last 3 years?
  21. Yes! Do you like going to bars?
  22. Pretty sure every RMC coaster ever created has an ejector hill. . . Like, you know... The entire ride. Seriously, (Not including the lift hill obviously) I think we spend more time being ejected out of our seats on RMC coasters, than the amount of time we spend being pressed into the seats. Hell even the first drop on RMC coasters (aside from the inverting drops) are like giant ejector hills all the way down the drop. In addition to this, Storm Chaser has 2 bona fide, clear as day ejector hills, and boy, do they ever launch you! That first one even makes the ejector hills on Maverick or Magnum seem tentative in their ejection! My car keys can attest to this! They haven't been the same ever since! And my thighs are probably not the same either, man! Pretty sure every RMC coaster ever created has an ejector hill. . . Like, you know... The entire ride. Haha, true that, but I meant ejector hills à la El Toro. Like, big hills, sustained ejector. My first and only RMC is Wildfire, and it kinda lacks one big hill. It's a succession of pop of air. Now I agree Storm Chaser do have two ejector hills, and I was very happy to see them! I just wish for a bigger RMC to feature them now. There's your problem. You're judging all of them based on one, but from what I've heard, very solid coaster.
