  1. ^It was listed as closed for the day but opened up in the afternoon.
  2. Maybe it's just me then, but the Comet seemed rougher this year as opposed to 2007 too. Even so, its still the smoothest wooden coaster there I think.
  3. ^What I mean't was I don't wear designer clothes or have any feminine tendencys realy..and now that I look at that post it didn't make sense did it.
  4. I was there that day too! Fahrenheit went down when I was 3 trains away, I don't know if it opened back up, but I was mad I didn't get to ride it. The Comet had a ridiculous line, I got in the queue at about 1020 and and it was through the 1st switchback, by the time I got of it was getting into the 4th and more people were getting in, and around night when it started to rain it was still through 3..Otherwise it was a good day and not TOO crowded. The only closed ride was sooperdooperlooper, but it opened up later in the day. Another thing- Lightning Racer got ALOT rougher, didn't it.
  5. My parent's seem to be OK with it for the most part, but I can tell they don't 100% approve, but I think that will get better over time. I have my bf over at my house alot, and my parents and siblings like him, so thats good. The thing that bothers me though, is kids in my school seem to have this "if your a gay guy your a girl" view, which isn't true. I don't think you could tell if you looked at me or anything, and I don't "act" gay at all really, except for the fact that me and bf kiss sometimes in the hallway at school..
  6. Thats wierd that the 4x4's close during rain, kind of a random ride IMO..does anyone know why that is ?
  7. This is a bad move IMO, Canyon River Rapids seems to be REALLY popular, I was there yesterday and mid-afternoon the queue was through 4 of those really long switchbacks, which was probably like at least 40 minute wait. That new area does look cool though, its just too bad they had to remove this for it.
  8. Loch Ness Monster, I especially like the location of it, it looks good. After that it would be the Canyon Blaster at TGE, even though thats really small i still like it.
  9. Sorry to bring back an old topic, but I just had a question. Im going to be there next week and its supposed to be in the upper 80's. But, does anyone know long does the line for Canyon River Rapids generally get on hot days? Like, is it really long?
  10. Im gay and I dont like her And I know what you mean about her voice, I hate hearing it. IMO, its worse than Sarah Silvermans, and her voice is really annoying to hear. Shes alot better than Kathy otherwise though.
  11. My bf is like, in love with her, while I hate her, shes just really offensive IMO and her acts are just not funny. Neither is her show. Just wanted to see what everyone else thought about her.
  12. Because it was an island before the rest of the U.S. was formed. Why does being straightXedge mean you dont do drugs or drink? It doenst mean your straight..
  13. ^About gay marraige, I'm guessing that in 20 years or less, its going to be legal in all [or almost all] of the US. I think eventually people will see it as a "why were we against that?" type of thing. IMO its like banning a black person from marrying a white person. At the time, you can make sense of it and find ways to justify it, but eventually you'll see your wrong.
  14. For anyone whose been on it already, how fast does the queue line move?
  15. I don't think they're completely identical, they might be but if not they are close. And the reason the one looks taller is because the lift on Thunder starts a few feet after Lightning does, but they are the same height.
  16. Great Photos! Great Escapes my home park, and I agree with you about it being good for preteens. But they have a serious need for flat rides, with the Condor always being down and after taking out the Rainbow. The front of the park just isnt the same without it, and not hearing people say "OMG its going to hit that building!!" while at the gates is kinda depressing.
  17. I just got another job, this time at Staples, I'm going for orientation tomorrow to learn how to use the cash register [which I already know how to do seeing as I worked at Five Guys for a bit]. It looks like it will be fairly easy-going though, I mean theres always more employees than customers in that store. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that theres a Wal Mart Supercenter right next door about 500 feet away...
  18. Sorry to bring back an old topic, but I just saw Im F****** Matt Damon for the first time, that was Amazing, better than any Sarah Silverman Program episode I've ever seen.
  19. The Comet at Great Escape. Sure it has alot of history and some good airtime, but it's nothing special at all, and is definitely starting to his age more and more. Theres alot better coasters out there.
  20. Those are some great pictures you took! Just one question about VooDoo though. Does it hold you on the back spike for a few seconds like SFGA's impulse does? That always looked like it would be very uncomfortable, but I've never been on one so I don't know.
  21. Those are great photos, I'm gonna be in Hershey in about 2 weeks, and they made me that much more excited! I do have one question though- How long was the queue for Fahrenheit? Im going to be there on the 1st and am hoping it won't be TOO long.
  22. Mindbender at SFOG. I love that ride, the loops were VERY forceful, and it was incredibly smooth for being over 25 years old, but all schwarzkopf coasters are good in the smoothness department.
  23. I know some of the Six Flags parks are kind of looked down upon, while others are really great to be at. I was just wondering what everyone elses favorite Six Flags park is. My pick, out of the ones I've been to, is Six Flags Over Georgia. I loved Goliath, Mind Bender & GASM. The only thing I didn't like was that they didnt have many flat rides, but otherwise I loved it.
  24. That looks great, I would ride it. It looks alot more safe than that crazy thing that was built at Action Park in the 1990's. I don't know how they got away with building that, although Action Park seemed unsafe as a whole, not just that slide.
  25. Because 2.54 centimeters equals 1 inch, and since Americans are known for being fat, the less numbers they have to use to count how big their waists are, the less heavy they feel. Why are some churchs against homosexuality when Jesus had like 2 dads? [Joseph and God]
