Mr. Hero. They're my all-time favorite. They're always made fresh and have never heard of anyone getting sick at one.

Smoking banned in public buildings!
FlyingScooter replied to CoasterCrazy's topic in Random, Random, Random
It's been like that with city orders in Cleveland for well over 15 years. When they stopped smoking in the malls, it took some getting used to it. They actually had a smoking ban in a cleveland suburb where you could not smoke in public areas, period, indoors or outdoors, it did not matter. they would, however, let you smoke in your car. -
McDiet - or Why "Super Size Me" is totally stupid
FlyingScooter replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
Robb, I agree with you 100% regarding personal responsibility in this country. Working in the insurance industry has taught me a great deal. 'it's not my fault i ran over that kid and killed him, he should've seen me crossing the sidewalk in my Jimmy.' said by a woman that killed a 4 yr old in front of his house on a bike, after jumping a curb. McD's is like any other food place: if you eat too much, you eat too much. -

Ho-Ho's. I love Ho-Ho's! -
^ you got my vote. I was thinking that exact same thing! LOL

Demon Drop was my first, too. ^I've seen enough scrap metal to last a lifetime in the last 2 months. Here in Cleveland, they've torn down a huge steel plant that was LTV Steel and get this, they're putting in a mall.

^agreed. I started using Windows movie Maker three this weekend and had a blast. I'll have to post my first movie. It's a POV on my rendition of CLP's Blue Streak, including the 'skunk tunnel' The only real problems i had was with the audio, which i'm going to re-edit before i upload. photoStory 3 is fun for quickies, though. My kid used some scanned photos, added some really messed up music and made a story using screenshot from Medal of Honor AA. It was hilarious.

I've never been to a Sonic. They don't have any in NE ohio. I did try Red Robin last week and loved it.

Most Romantic Ride
FlyingScooter replied to nemesis20's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Geauga Lake monorail back in 1981. The power went out at the park when my girlfriend and i were riding it . We were in the last car and it was getting dark. We were stuck there for about 20 mins. Fond memories there... -
New RCT Idea
FlyingScooter replied to coasterfreak101's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It could be fun. When you make the park, do not forget to put in Carraba's (sp?), mcD's and the other restaurants they go to. It could be the ultimate thrill park, indeed. -

IMO, frightfest season is the best time to hit the Point. Last year was great. Almost eveything was a walk-on. I asked a ride-op if it's always this slow during frightfest, he said sundays usually are: Football season wins out over parks, he figures. Another good TR, Ted. Yeah, that was some storm satuday night. It hit Cleveland pretty good, and it came fast. A lot of accidents on I90, I480 and I71. Hydroplaning, bigtime.
