I almost took a ride maintenance job at SFWOA. During their interview process, they'd ask if i had any questions and i'd always say the same thing: What's the payscale? During the last interview, they told me. 10.00 an hour. I am not climbing rides at 10.00 an hour. The summer after that, two maintenance men were injured and one died of heatstroke. Guess I made the right choice. Still, i've always wanted to work for a park.

Very true. My girlfriends kid took pics as they were building X-flight. We actually thought they were going to put a pond in there. A small fact about the mud. One of the Maintenance people there fell while working on the ride. If the ground hadn't been so saturated, he'd probibly would've died or become paralyzed. I caught the sarcasm, and think it's hilarious.

^ Nice. Here's another one to try. Call the cops from payphone, tell them the guys apartment/unit number and addy. Tell them it sounds like he's killing somebody and smashing funriture. They drive up, hear the bang/boom/bang and scare the sh!t out of him. If the cops press you, tell them you were making a delivery from some pizza place.

Katie: I by no means am doubting what you were told by his caseworkers. I have some experience with county agencies here in Cleveland and have heard more cases then i'll ever remember. In Cuyahoga county, Ohio, if a child is banging his head against a wall and a parent does nothing and ignores it, they will most likely go to jail for either child neglect or child endangerment. I hope you have what his wraparound team said in writing, and i sincerely hope you never need it. Best of luck to you and your son.

Congrats, Robb! I remember seeing your pictures of the 'parking lot coaster.' They did the same thing when they put in X-Flight in Cleveland. Well, they did add gravel.

When the '40 hour work week' was invented, why didn't they just make it a 30 hr week with the same weekly pay? I think somebody seriously slipped-up on that one. AirBags. the idea of facing something that can blow up in your face bothers me. I wear glasses and have seen what airbags can do to people that wear them in low-speed crashes. My buddy went thru three facial surgeries because his glasses disentigrated by the airbag and had the shards/frame pieces etc pushed into his face.

It's my second Monday of the week! confused? I'll explain. I work monday, tuesday, wednesday, friday and saturday. So, Monday is a monday, tuesday is a wednesday because its in the middle part of my week. Weds is friday, because i'm off on Thursday. Friday is like a monday, first part of the second section of my week. Saturday is like a friday, because i'm off on sunday which is like a saturday.

Damn Eastside Cleveland Ohio Drivers. Sure, you can talk on a cell and drive, it's not legal or safe, but you can do it. You can read while drive, also not legal of safe, but you can do it. But when you read and talk on a cell phone while driving. That's just stupid. Hats off to the lady driving a Blue Explorer when she lost control, skipped off a guardrail and landed in someones backyard, wasting a dog in the process. The State cops had 5 witnesses come forth saying the lady was reading and cellphoning when she lost it. Ted, you be real careful dring thru Ohio. We're nuts here....

Huss, hands down! Texas Twister(GL), Hymalayas, the old BAyern Curves. I don't think i've ever been on one of their rides that I didn't like. Chance, on the other hand: Toboggan=Ouch!
