I've gotten plenty over the last 20+ yrs of driving. The cost of the tickets are nothing compared to what it does to your insurance. (this was mentioned earlier). Let me give you a breakdown: 1 medium speed. cost: anywhere between 75 and 225 (depending on state and area.) Insurance: that will increase your premium anywhere between 150 and 300 every 6 months. at 300 every 6, or 600 a year, this will cost you 1800 bucks over the next three years (or however long your ins company charges you for them.) How much was that ticket??? This info is current. I work for an insurance company and my girlfriend got a speeding ticket two weeks ago... bummer...

My least fav II Any commercial that lists more known harmful side effects than known benefits to any product. most of the ED adds are like that. there's a few arthritis ones too. I love the: this will ease the pain of your arthritis. Known side effects are: cramping, vomiting (yep, i can see how that would ease pain...) and quadruple vision...

LOL Ted: in ref to Gumwall, that's become a classic. I should be able to make the may 1st clean up date. I would've loved to be there for bluestreak paint job a few years ago. that'd been fun. Conneaut's only like an hour from me, but i'd probibly swing over aft work that sat and stay at one of the hotels. Looks like they got the Bug working again. cool.

^^ trev32: i think they're trying to ban skateboarding everywhere. In some suburbs of Cleveland, ohio, they've made skateboarding illegal just about everywhere except your driveway. No sidewalks, no parking lots, no where. Now, they're talking about banning RollerBlading... -

^^Robb: last i heard, the train (NAD w/the center light) was in a maintenance shed. They switched to the older/classic trains due to them being lighter and easier all the way around on the track. I agree, the ride lost a lot when they switched trains. The Nads, well, sort of kicked ya in them... Loved that old train. My oldest kids first coaster was that one with the Nads. hard to believe that was 15 yrs ago. i've got to get that picture of her and i rounding the last turn scanned. She looked utterly stoned after her first ride. Then, she rode it 10 more times... -

Hey everybody! This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Conneaut Lake Park, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page. Official Park Website Below are some links to past updates from the park, you may be interested in. I'm still working in a bad economy and making good money. I'm healthy, though i'm balding...(bummer) It's turning into RollerBlading season. Sorry to hear about Rattums, elissa. -

Insurance underwriter here. We cover Auto/boat/motor homes/mobile homes/motorcycles/travel trailers. We even cover Segways. I'd call it a semi-stressful job.
