Yes, I must say, those are some very nice photos. I like the one looking down Main Street, it looks so dense. Also, it's good to see that the keel boats live on at DLP! -
Storm watch for the west coast.

Well, here in the southern part (South Bay area) of L.A. county there are dark, cloudy skies but not a drop of rain...yet. -
As much as I'd like to rag on Cedar Fair and say they're using up their leftover Sierra Sidewinder paint, I'm sure those pictures were taken at the Zamperla Factory in Italy, where the painting is done. Now, everyone, those are some rare exclusive photos that will not be seen anywhere else! Bravo to Bruno to a truly great post! He is one of those who make TPR great.

I'm just a wee bit confused by that "video". I'm not going to take a gander at those crotches because that's not my cup of tea, except for the one that is obviously Lou! Wait, does that make it seem like I looked at them all?

I really like the industrial warehouse look of that exhibition hall, the ducts and all! -
It's purely subjective. Also, you would have to ride at least most of the roller coasters in the world to have a valid opinion. Even then, it's still purely subjective. People also get really snobby with their opinions, and criticize others for liking coasters they themselves do not like. Some people love intense negative G forces and others find them quite uncomfortable. I love X at SFMM but others find it terribly gimmicky, rough, disorienting, and otherwise unfun.

I'm guessing Nighthawk will have a lame black & green bird in its logo. Firehawk would have required a paint job. -

I know you've probably been on several Arrow launched loops (what they're called on rcdb), so what do you think of them compared to Schwarzkopf shuttle loops? "Montezooma" is a pretty good hint as to which you prefer, but a launch into a drop looks like it would be fun too! Thanks for the Circus World updates, that's what reminded me. -
Ugh this is horrible

^More like, why did he buy it if he was about to move? And why would he go to SFMM and not go in? -
Lost is the most addictive show ever. I'm glad I waited until the DVD came out to watch season 3. It would have been hard not being able to watch the next episode right away.

It's was Shane's idea originally, but I think Bill should be Marvel McFey next Halloween. -

I did not go on the Japan trip. I'm sorry if it seemed I misrepresented myself in any way. I did say that if I could have done one of the 2007 trips it would have been Japan. -chris -
Well folks, I may have to stand corrected. On its 2nd weekend of release, NT:BoS took in $35,632,000 bringing its grand total in North America to $124,035,000. It brought in $44,783,772 its opening weekend, meaning the drop in business from 1st to 2nd weekend is a mere 20.2%. Many films, even popular, successful ones often have a 50% 2nd weekend drop in ticket sales. Add the foreign box office as it continues to be released internationally, Mr. Cage may end up with a good case for a ride.

So Libertyland opened for the 4th of July 1976 and closed in 2005. When smaller, independent parks close down permanently does it make you a little sad, Shane? It's a shame that for every Walt Disney and Walter Knott there's a (add name of creator of Libertyland here). On a more positive note...Wow, Shane, what's left of Magic Mountain for this thread? -
Yeah, Larry, you do!
