Give me the good old days when preteen brats couldn't even talk their parents into...I dunno, something that cost $25. Many things over the last 30 years or so have sharply risen above the rate of inflation. And, well, if people are willing to pay it, we can only blame ourselves.

Quantum of Solace (Bond 22) Discussion Thread
RIP Psyclone replied to RIP Psyclone's topic in Random, Random, Random
Do you mean to the short story Quantum of Solace? My guess is nothing other than the title. The story would make for a very boring movie. If you mean how will it relate to Casino Royale, it will be a direct sequel, a first time thing in the Bond series. It's important to note that the first 20 Bond films were more or less on the same timeline, but Casino Royale was a reboot like Batman Begins. People jokingly called it "Bond Begins." -

That was the name of the first James Bond novel by Ian Fleming, and that was the first time it had been made into a proper film. It really couldn't have been called anything else. -

^Quantum of Solace was the name of one of five short stories from the book For Your Eyes Only. Two of those already had their titles used for previous films: For Your Eyes Only and From a View to a Kill (The movie dropped the "from.") -

I'll admit Viper is hardly one of the best credits I have. It was one of my first "big" ones, though. I guess I got a soft spot for it, so I'm glad you didn't hate it like GASM. -

Chuck's summaries of his new credits are unmatched. Seriously. And that's before you get to the photos and the often hilarious captions, Whenever I login to TPR I'm hoping to see one of 3 things, an "official update," an update to Shane's Attic, or a cfc PTR. -

Oh, and the topless portraits...the only movie I can think of that had anything like that was The Shining, but that's a well known movie. -

I really hope Silverwood's mechanics can overcome, or at least keep at bay, the frequent and numerous problems this ride has. That aside, it should be a good addition for a smaller, less attended park. -

] I'm so hot for her, I'm so hot for her, I'm so hot for her, BUT SHE'S SO COLD! And no one has ever talked about sex with minors. Merely saying a girl is attractive (who I assumed was your age) is far from that. -

That's right, it is just a running joke. If Tyler didn't find it amusing I wouldn't do it, but he runs with it too. Thanks for the beer! (in advance) -

Well, first and foremost something needs to be put on the PeopleMover track. I think using the former Carousel building for Innoventions is pretty much a waste of space. If an attraction was put on the first floor and the second floor used for exhibit space, I could live with that. Wishing for the Skyway to return is futile. Although I didn't like how former ride space was replaced with a restaurant (Redd Rocketts), it is still a very popular place nearly 10 years later, despite the food being mediocre, so I can respect that. Bringing back the Submarine Voyage was a BIG step in the right direction, despite its Nemo theme. Mark VII Monorail, also.
