  1. What the heck, where's mine?!?! I really hope it arrives before Jow's, just because it will crack me up sooo much if he's dead last.
  2. Ugh, Scott, DON'T EVEN JOKE!!!! Pixar movies for the most part make me vomit.
  3. I'm sure I remember a bigger discussion on this but the best I could find was a couple of posts in this thread, which might be where you remember seeing this mentioned, Wes: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23169 AK is the only WDW park I haven't been to: is everything there based upon "real" animals?? Don't they have a dinosaur theme thing going on somewhere? If they've got dinosaurs and yetis, I'd say it's only a matter of time before the dragons come out. Let's face it, they can totally get away with it without losing any of the education they provide, it's Disney for goodness sake, it's full of flying elephants and talking mice. The fact that the dragon is still on the logo probably means they at least want to have the option to do it at some point. *shrug*
  4. ^ I thought the Wheel of Death at South Port killed your video camera Will?! Or is this event a regular occurrence, like me and my ability to break two dozen umbrellas a year!
  5. The entrance to Dragon Mountain reminds me of Tusenfryd. LOL at the attack of the killer deers, so awesome. Paul, you really do look frightened! The shot of the four of you at Niagara Falls is really nice, even if Tom isn't particularly smiley. I LOVE Niagara Falls. Nice shots Paul!
  6. Here you go guys, may as well give this one a bump, it's a bit more comprehensive than this new one too! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1202 Thanks!! --Louise
  7. Paul, I really wish Nicole had been there to take pictures of you taking pictures of Nikki taking pictures of Tom taking pictures of Wonderland. Even more than that though, I wish that I had been there to take pictures of Nicole taking pictures of you taking pictures of Nikki taking pictures of Tom taking pictures of Wonderland. Wow, you would think I would be bored of it and not find it funny... NOPE!! Hysterical, a hilarious new take on PTRs (both yours and Nikki's), I love it!!
  8. ^ Knowing your past delivery woes, I bet mine gets to me first.
  9. Ooh!! Awesome TR Scott, your pics and captions are really great!! I LOVED the Crouching Tiger pic, really funny. Great work, I miss EPCOT, look forward to getting my postcard.
  10. AWESOME!!!!! HAHA!!!! I LOL'd. I love scavenger hunts and puzzle solving sooooooo much, I'd give my right arm to be able to go to something like this. So cool. Really glad you boys had fun! Looks like a great experience!
  11. Yay! I'm so glad you posted the pictures again. Liseberg is such a beautiful park, I miss it!! Uppswinget looks great, I really liked the Screaming Swing at Thorpe, though I know others were kinda "meh" about it. Rainbow was awesome at Liseberg, I didn't get any pics of that last year and completely forgot it even existed! I laughed so much on that ride! Mmmmmmm, Balder.
  12. Jay, I know quite a lot about this stuff, I really do empathise with parts of your situation. Good luck with the appeal and stuff, if they're worth a damn they'll take you back, it's not your fault you were misdiagnosed and prescribed, which seems scarily common. Kudos for posting about this without a trace of asking for attention or sympathy. Best of luck!
  13. I just collect them at the gate, far easier. Just be sure to get there for 9.30 or whatever time the gates are opening that day, and you should be able to stroll right up to the booths and pick them up. Make sure to print off the confirmation, and take alone the credit/debit card that you paid for them with, and it takes all of thirty seconds for him/her to check the card details and print your tickets. Far easier than having them posted to you!
  14. Nice shots Lyle, good job! Looks like a really nice little park, I knew almost nothing about it until recently. Your friend is very pretty. And you look awesome without the braces! Thanks for posting!
  15. Great shots!! Elephant Mock, LOL. What exactly was "Hymen" originally, if that's what you ended up with?!?!
  16. Idiots. The Magic Kingdom of all places... At least it was late at night, not too many little kids around. I mean, that kind of shit isn't good for anybody to see when they're on holiday, but at least adults will just roll their eyes and walk on by as opposed to being really upset by it. LOL at the 17 year old girl getting stun-gunned.
  17. Yes, Disneyland Paris does have the three inverting coasters, but regardless of that, I'd take Magic Kingdom and MGM over DLP any day of the week. Disney has to appeal to EVERYBODY, old, young, male, female, etc. As ^ said, having too many inversions is likely to *slightly* put off some of the family market. As long as they have one or two thrill-rides (and inversions do not necessarily equal thrills, neither does an inversion-less ride equate to boredom), they're satisfying much of the market.
  18. I didn't know Colossus had that rule... But I did just come in here to post that the back of my earring actually broke the skin behind my ear on Colossus last year, so I do understand why they would at least warn you. Actually telling you to take them out seems a bit extreme though, assuming they enforce it. I have the same problem with Alton's Corkscrew, that one jawbreaker generally makes my earring cause me pain too, but I play with them too much to not wear them when I go to parks.
  19. I don't know how much this helps, but having done a bit of searching I found this... http://americacoasters.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13571&sid=0ec569bb48f5df2374da23a9871c066a It doesn't seem like they manage to come to any conclusion on the fourth song, but they mention a couple that you haven't that seem to be shot down by som and agreed with by others so... Maybe look up some of the titles mentioned there and have a listen?
  20. Well c'mon, it's awesome, that totally has more right to be up there than freaking Zipper Dipper and the Big One. Avalanche and the Mouse are the only two coasters there other than Revolution that I have any real love for at all, if I'm honest.
  21. I'm trying to decide whether this is pointless or not, but it might actually give me something interesting to read, so I ain't locking it, we'll see if somebody else does. In the meantime I've added Wild Mouse to the poll, as Nicole is spot on about it being pointless without that there. My vote goes for Revolution. I don't know why I love it so much, but I do. Retro charm and childhood memories, probably.
  22. ^ Ain't = isn't / aren't. And sometimes I ain't is used for I'm not. I don't actually know where it comes from. I'm not sure anybody does, I don't think it's ever been verified!
  23. Nice pictures Eric, some gorgeous views there! Adrian looks like he's grown since that WDW PTR last year! Looking forward to seeing the Dollywood pictures!
  24. We do have a thread like this somewhere, so I'm going to go ahead and lock this, but basically one of the easiest things for you to do is to go to http://www.coasterforce.com as they have a really good "glossary". Just look at the sidebar down the lefthand side of the main page, there are technical terms and types of coasters and all sorts. I refer to it sometimes because I'm terrible with inversions! Thanks!
