Six Flags Untitled [RCT2]
Team Thriller replied to Coupon's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I think this looks fantastic. I don't know what kind of Amusement Parks Dotrobot is going to, but generally Amusement Parks have flat rides. Keep it up! I love your parks. --James -
Heide Park Discussion Thread
Team Thriller replied to Sebbe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It was probably staff from Hansa Park. They got jealous of Heide Parks new announcements. --James -
Europa Park has many quality coasters such as Blue Fire, Silver Star (Which I find underrated), Euro Mir (Very fun ride), and Euro Sat (Another pretty fun ride). Not to mention a water coaster (maybe two if you count Atlantica as a coaster) , two quality small family coasters, and two good larger family coasters. Heide Park is now getting a B&M to its line up of already Colossus, (my number one wooden coaster), Desert Race, an AWESOME Bobsled, and a okay looping family coaster and mine train (if you count it). Phantasialand has Winjas (Not one but TWO awesome coasters), my favorite mine train coaster, and Black Mamba. (Which may not be OMFG forceful, but it is still a great coaster) I haven't been to Alton Towers, Port Adventura, or any park in Italy, however I could see both of these making the list. --James

Most Intense Rides You've Been On
Team Thriller replied to StrataKirby's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Pretty much tons of countless rides found here in Germany's fairs are intense. Goliath's helix made me go into tunnel version. Alpengeist can be pretty intense. If I remember right, I found Zonga (was at SFMW) to be pretty intense. --James -
Holiday Park Discussion Thread

^ The trim before the change of direction seemed off! The only trim were you could feel something was the last before the final bunny hops leading to the brake run, and it was on VERY low. If you think the airtime was intense before, I swear that now it will seem completely INSANE! The airtime can almost cause bruises on your hips. Imagine taking the ride what feels like 1 and a half to two times faster. --James -

What area really needs a theme park?
Team Thriller replied to let1gre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I love how most people just say that the area they are living in is the area that needs a theme park. lol Some of the places people are saying is the LAST place that needs a theme park. I think Honolulu could use a nice theme park, nothing big, but something nonetheless. Also, Alaska doesn't really have a real full-scale theme park, does it? Oh and Ramstein, Germany needs one also. Totally. Since I live there. --James -
Holiday Park Discussion Thread
Team Thriller replied to devol4's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Just got back from Holiday park yesterday. Two things that need to be noted: 1.) The new coaster (Which I took some pictures of for the index, which I'll upload sometime.) is great for the family, but horrible for people over 3 or 4 feet. The ride slams you around like crazy to the point where it is painful. Mornings rides were okay, but as the day went on, it got worse and worse. 2.) Ge Force is my new number one again. This ride was hauling major a$$. The trims seems off, and the new trains were perfect. I have NEVER, in my 6 years of riding it, have gotten so much airtime on it before. Overall it was a pretty good day. --James -

What soundtrack did you use for Lobenzo? Great coasters. It's nice to see some original ideas. --James -
Glad you are enjoying Germany! I love your TR's! Keep em coming! --James

^ Your kidding right? The Vekoma Boomerang was created in 1984. If you follow the timeline, this would be nearly a decade after. Definitely not one of the first. (As a matter of fact, there would have been a good 10 to 15 + in operation. In my opinion, this park has enough coasters. More flats would be a better move. And if a coaster, definitely not a boomerang. (With the exception of maybe a Giant Inverted one like Deja Vu') This is the best RCT3 park I've ever seen Keep up the work! --James

This is GREAT news. I'll try to get to the park in the next week or so and see how the new trains are running. --James -
^ It takes a lot of strength to hold a camera? I've only taken a few POV's, and to be honest, it wasn't heavy or anything at all. It was easy. The only challenge was keeping it steady. (Especially with it being on a Vekoma) --James

Thats what she said. And as for me, I have a fear of Bees. And aliens. I know it sounds stupid, but the thought of being abducted (Even though I don't think it happens) scares the poo poo out of me. --James

Okay here we go. The newest movies I've seen: Inception - 8/10 - You will think a lot, and in order to really enjoy the movies full potential you probably should see it a few times. After I understood what was going on, I really enjoyed it. I loved the action scenes (Especially the hallway) and the writing and creativity was superb. I highly recommend this movie. I do like Dark Knight better though. This movie did become a little overwhelming and too much at some points, but it would have been impossible to write around that with a story this complex. Toy Story 3 - 9/10 - I went into this movie expecting HIGH ASS expectations as I loved the first two movies. Thank god this movie didn't suck. As a matter of fact, I think this could be my favorite out of the three. I didn't cry like people say, but I did find it an emotional scene when they *SPOILER* all held hands when they all thought they were about to die *SPOILER END* The reason I didn't cry at the end was because I found it PERFECT closure to the series. Couldn't have been better. Good job Pixar, another classic masterpiece. Robin Hood - 6/10 - I'm a little late on this movie. To tell you the truth, I wasn't that interested in it. To be honest, I found it entertaining, and I would probably watch a sequel to it, however that is it. Something in this movie was missing. I think it was that it had a story, but no feeling or heart to the movie. I wasn't captured by the movie. I wasn't feeling the movie. I was just sitting in the theater watching it and I knew this throughout. As a matter of fact, I caught myself looking at the time checking how much longer I have to watch. It was good, worth seeing if you have time. But nothing amazing. Reservoir Dogs - 7/10 - I'm REALLy late with this movie. All I can say is: GOOD MOVIE! Good story. And as always in a Taratino film, great dialog. Of course, out of the three Taratino films I've seen (Basterds, Pulp Fiction, and now this one) this is my least favorite. It is a good movie, but not as good as Pulp Fiction. And neither of them is even comparable to Inglorious Basterds (My currently tied with Shawshank for number one) Just Wright - 5/10 - I wanted a comedy SO BAD! It was uplifting, but not laugh out loud comedy. Fun movie to watch with friends, especially those who are good with racial jokes. (I'm not encouraging racial jokes, I'm just saying) -- James

Your favorite coaster tunnel
Team Thriller replied to chavslayer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Disneyland Paris) Especially at night, this tunnel hits riders square between the eyes. It is at the very end, so it is considered to be the grand finale. Not only is it a long decent that goes under the water in pitch black, but it feels like it just keeps going. It continues gaining speed. At night, you feel like your flying through an abyss. The tunnel is long, fast, intense, and very fun. Easily the best tunnel on a roller coaster. Alpenexpress at Europa Park also has a nice tunnel. It smells good in there and there is SO MUCH to see. The tunnel has a helix which packs a punch. Oh and also, there is real fire. Goliath's is another one. When at the top of the hill, it looks like a tiny tiny hole in the ground. This is a great tunnel to test your metal strength and hold your hands up during the decent into the tunnel. I loved it. Other coasters with nice tunnels: - Black Mamba - Lockness Monster - Alpengiest -- James -

That would make more sense. And that is also a fairly large amount of space for a spinning wild mouse. --James -

I wonder where they are going to place it? Maybe there is room in the Mayan section of the park? Or in the old foot print of Speedy Bob? Hmmmm I cannot wait regardless. This is good news. --James
