^Eaxactly. The train's inertia won't be as great on the top of the camelback as it will be ascending or decending the hill. Less force on the track means less stress, which means less support. -

I have a feeling that this may be the end of track work for a while until they construct the wing-dip pond or whatever. It makes much more sense to do that first than having to do it with the track in the way. -

In the pic with the guys working on the support, they were actually torque-testing the bolts to make sure they're on nice an tight. I think it's supposed to be about 600lbs of force applied when installing the bolts. -
It's been rumored for a while that BGW would be announcing a Christmas fest or event. Well, it may be coming. http://www.vagazette.com/news/local/va-news5_120308dec03,0,5080569.story They've also anounced it on the park's Facebook page. http://www.new.facebook.com/home.php?ref=logo#/event.php?eid=36638656483&ref=mf

I was thinking the EXACT same thing when I saw this pic. It might just be the angle though. -Justin It appears to be just as long as the final brakes themselves. -

Is it just me, or is that a long block brake? -

I find the logo to be okay, but I'm still sick to my stomach. They could have at least kept the A and eagle logo with the new font. The "A" was true Americana. -

^Same here. It's already self-governed and is it's own corporation, AB is basically just a holding company of it. A message from the evil man: http://www.ab-inbev.com/video.cfm -

Sometimes I question BEC's relationship with B&M, but this is looking sweeeeeet. -
If you have a work permit, than parks will usually hire you. Like me, I'm working in Oktoberfest games at BGE.

^^Yes, but Superman doesn't have a set of drive tires. The Manta section had drive tires around the anti-rollbacks. -

As far as mags go, I don't think there'll be any. I don't believe any B&M flyers have mag brakes on it. Actually, I take that back. Tatsu has a small set of mag brakes. -

I actually enjoy B&M's recent design of steep lifts. It adds to the ride, instead of just the normal mundane ride to the top. -
