  1. ^Oh. The puzzle is complete.
  2. PMW? Is there something I'm missing. Great report by the way. Your captions always crack me up.
  3. Correction, 664 is N/S. How could I be so stupid, I live here anyways and travel it weekly. Oh, the US-58 exit is in Chesapeake, not Suffolk. The MMBT connects Newport News to Suffolk but comes around back into Chesapeake as it ties back into 64 and then 264 in Portsmouth.
  4. ^He would take I-64 East, then join 664 East at the Hampton Colisuem.
  5. Just to let you know, Griffon's chain snapped on Saturday, and there is a slight possibility that it may be closed, as the chain is supposedly coming from B&M themselves in Switzerland. it should be up and running by then, but I'm just letting you know.
  6. Last night while in line for Loch Ness Monster, a kid next to me said to his brother (I assume), "I want the outside." I responded, "They're both outside seats," and he looked at me with a puzzled look on his face and then said, "Well, the left seat is always the outside seat."
  7. Right now I'm on GTA: San Andreas. Yeah, it took me three years to get it, and I still have just an XBOX.
  8. Gorgeous pics! Dominionator looks amazing at night.
  9. While at the park tonight, I overheard a couple of supervisors talking about the sale and one of them mentioned that the Busch family is seriously considering purchasing the parks. If park management is talking about it, then this could be a serious possibility.
  10. Looks like the Busch family themselves might be interested. http://www.screamscape.com/html/industry_news.htm#BuschEntertainment We can only hope.
  11. Nice trip report. I'm liking those lights on Dominator's catwalk.
  12. Whata great idea... Seriously, they need to get something done as far as our roads go instead of worrying about this right now.
  13. ^Yeah, MolsonCoors and SABMiller merged.
  14. "Belgium government collapses, country next?" http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25690719/ Hmm. So, if the sale is approved, will this mean AB is run in a country with a collapsed government?
  15. Actually, it isn't exactly a done deal yet. The just agreed on the terms of what the sale would consist of, if it's approved. Federal regulators and shareholders from both companies have to approve the deal.
  16. Something I would like to see is BEC becoming it's own company, and have some of the family buy into it. I know Auggie III has been known for liking the parks and is something he would like to keep.
  17. Our local stations have jumped on the bandwagon concerning the fate of BGE and the Williamsburg brewerry. I think this does a fine job of explaining it. http://www.wvec.com/video/topvideo-index.html?nvid=263192
  18. Honestly, I don't really care about the beer part of the deal. I like AB as a company because of its commitment to communities, assisting in disaster relief, its commitment to conservation and its commitments to the environment, and of course the commitment to the unmatched quality at the parks. It's not just a beer company. It's an American company that proudly has strong ties to every community in this country. Oh, now some economists are calling this a horrible deal for both companies, mainly because there is no long term gain for neither of them. InBev said it wants to spread the Bud brand, well, AB could have done it by themselves, and this deal comes down to, "InBev wants to run AB just because they think they can run it better than the Busch family." Here's a video. You might have to do a quick search, but just use 'InBev buys Bud." http://www.foxbusiness.com/video/index.html AND, they don't think InBev can even afford the purchase.
  19. ^You nailed it. InBev doesn't have to keep their promises. Once they own it, it's theres and they can do as they please. For all we know, once the sale is final, they'll lay everyone off, shut the breweries down, and sell the rest piece by piece. Memo to AB employess form InBev... Everyone can keep their job if they agree to a 50 percent pay cut. Remember, the sale isn't final. It has to go through a vote and be approved by stockholders and regulators. Hopefully, there are many stockholders that oppose the sale.
  20. The one thing BEC needs: Anheuser-Busch. They'll never be the same. The quality of the parks will drop dramatically.
  21. Yeah, especially Busch parks. Their some of the nicest parks in the world. I really do hope they are sold. It would be really up setting seeing world class theme parks like this get scraped. You want them to be sold? For all we know, during the meetings over the weekend, AB may have said, "Look, we must keep the parks." I hope they keep them, but if not, are spun off to BEC as it's own company.
  22. Here's something shocking. One report (before this weekends talks), said that InBev will sell the parks or SCRAP them, in order for InBev to help pay for the purchase, which will put them $45B in debt. And you thought Six Flags had it bad... I would personally stand outside with a picket fence and protest it. I 'm sure y'all would too. Or, as someone mentioned on BGEscape, I would stand with a shotgun and act accordingly. I'm just gonna think positive. Scapping the parks would be the life of me.
  23. AB has been praised for the way it treats its employees, distributors, wholesllers, etc. InBev will probably treat them like crap and will cut many jobs, probably putting some families in the poor house the way our economy is today. It's ironic that they sell themselves to foreigners right when they begin running an ad campaign about how they're proud it's an American owned and operated company.
  24. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!!! This country is no longer American. it's just called the USA, but it's run by foreigners. It's an extremely sad day when the last known iconic AMERICAN company is in the hands of foreigners. They're only saying what the American people and AB want to hear, it doesn't mean that they'll follow suit. If they want the name to represent the heritage of AB, then the name should be Anheuser-Busch. I don't know what other name could take the place of it.
  25. Yeah, I'll laugh my ass off if the sale goes through, and the government steps in and says something about Cuba.
