Orochi (There's 4 coasters that started with Y.)

I often bring someone with me who isn't into amusement parks and coasters just for an unbiased opinion to help ground me in reality. The first time I rode Dodonpa and Fujiyama, I was with a guy that had been on less than ten coasters in his life, even at the end of the day. That made it more fun for me and not just because he had no idea what he was in for!

I'm actually moving in the opposite direction as Elissa. (Nothing unusual there, eh?) I've been in the US Navy for 15 years now, and lived outside the US for the past six years. (2 in Italy, 1 in Bahrain and 3 in Japan.) Now I'm going to be in the US for more than two weeks for the first time since 1999 and I'm really excited about checking out a lot of the construction that's occured while I've been gone. (I have been to a few parks in the US in the past few years, but there's been so much new stuff!) Like other people said, I too, have other hobbies, and that helps keep coasters fresh since that isn't the only thing I'm into.

Too many to list! Seriously, though, there's 42 coasters I've ridden either closed, SBNO in storage, or the park is closed forever.

This is now the first official Derek bashing thread! That's wunderbar! So many end up bashing Barry, Joe and Joey! Good to see Greg and Tim having a good time, too. Who's the fourth non-German?

yea, actually I did. Does that make me cool too? Huh? I only asked because I was surprised to find on in such an isolated place. I'm not independently wealthy or anything, and I'm not trying to rub it in that the US Navy brings me to some out of the way places. So why the snub, ParkTrips? I was under the impression that Master Blaster slides were still pretty rare. What other waterparks have them outside of the Dells, Schlitterbahn, Alton and Disney? (Those were the only places I knew of them.)

Yummy! So, is the gal in the tricorner hat Revolution? Viper is the new female character? It's tough if they aren't introduced or spoken to by name at least once. Like it so far, though! I can't wait for the adventures to begin!

In my case, I moved to an out of the way coaster destination, credit whored my way around the country until I knew all the parks that they might visit if they ever came here. Then, when they did come, I broke into their hotel and kidnapped them and forced them to go to the nearest park with a Vekoma. Sadly, the crappy SLC was closed, so they escaped. The best part is that since they didn't know their way around the legal system, I got away before they could press charges!

Lance does a pretty good job at tracking the goings on in Vegas over at Screamscape. He's not mentioned anything of the sort. He does have some good links on the Vegas page if you want to poke around and investigate, though.

^ That's funny, because sometimes that makes you happy! Oh, he must be getting credits you don't have... I get to live in an empty apartment for three days because the Navy can't schedule movers when I needed them and they won't pay for a hotel until I'm 7 days from leaving Japan.

The movers grabbed my speakers, but since I don't speak espanol, I guess that's ok. Weird movie, but it looks pretty funny.

Who here knew there is a Master Blaster in Saipan? It was my first of the type, and although not huge, it was a lot of fun! Now I have to go find more of them!
