  1. ^I, too, prefer Manta over Tatsu and Superman: Ultimate Flight. Superman has the preztel loop and then meanders over the rest of the course. Tatsu is good, but not as cool as Manta. I like how Manta dives close to the ground. The back row in Manta will kick your ass. Best part: Manta is not at SFMM!
  2. My friend did GASM at Six Flags Great Adventure 15 times in a row one day. He now has Parkinson's Disease. It's a thing that makes you go "hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..." (sorry to make an out-of-date pop culture reference)
  3. ^Well, some hot women might go for you since you and Jen are only friends. I'm just thinking of you, man. Heehee...
  4. Ssssssssssssooooooooooooooooooooooooo then...jen is just a friend? Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
  5. Great photos! Don't tell me you missed the Musical Circus ride at Parque Espana?
  6. Roller coasters cause brain damage? I can't tell.
  7. Excellent! I can't wait to ride it on Monday!
  8. I was strangely turned on by Robb's ass.
  9. I've worn my glasses on all sorts of roller coasters and they've never fallen off. I call my glasses "Clark Kent glasses" because they have thick lenses like Clark Kent's pair. Actually, I wore contacts on Boulderdash at Lake Compounce. The coaster was so intense that it knocked out one of them. I would hate to see what would have happened if I wore glasses.
  10. I would check the park hours too. Usually, Animal Kingdom closes the earliest followed by Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot. Usually, Epcot is the latest to close unless it is a busy time. Then Magic Kingdom is the latest. During Memorial Day weekend, Animal Kingdom closed the earlies, followed by Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom.
  11. I would grab a Fast Pass as soon as you can. At each park, there's a queue board (check the park map for the locations). I tend to grab a Fast Pass for the attraction that has the longest wait time. For example, if I go to the Magic Kingdom and I find a 30 minute wait for Splash Mountain and Big Thunder, but a 70 minute wait for Space Mountain, then I'll get a Fast Pass for Space Mountain. I can probably ride Splash Mountain and Big Thunder as I wait for the Space Mountain Fast Pass window to open. Getting Fast Passes can involve a lot of walking. Usually, the thrill rides at Disney parks are on opposite sides of the park. Epcot's thrill rides tend to be clustered around each other. Animal Kingdom's rides are very spread out. It took me 15 minutes walking at a brisk pace to reach Expedition Everest! But in the end, you can ride 1-2 rides while waiting for your Fast Pass window to open.
  12. The first thing that came to mind is that the U.S. is a litigious society. Then again, travelling carnivals have one ride operator running a flat ride.
  13. Summer in Missouri in July can also be very hot. Just ask those who went on the Midwest tour. I remember going to Worlds of Fun in July. I remember looking up at a big board that showed the time and temperature. Temperature at 11:00 am was like 108 degrees. Florida was in the mid-90's. I wanted to go back to Florida to cool off. BTW, I went to Worlds of Fun on a weekday. The wait for the roller coasters were like 5 minutes. The water raft ride had an hour wait. I wonder why?
  14. The Cheetah Hunt area looks awesome! I remember when there used to be a bunch of benches in the area. I remember sitting on one when I had a stomach ache.
  15. Let's see...I braved the Magic Kingdom on July 4th two years ago. The longest wait I had was 20 minutes for Pirates of the Caribbean. How did I do it? - Arrive before opening (8:00 am on July 4th), FP was not available until 9:00 am - Hit the low capacity rides first: Dumbo, Tomorrowland Speedway, Teacups - Hit the Fantasyland rides - Use Fastpass extensively and always have a FP in hand. When you get a FP, you will have a one hour return time and also a time when you can pick up another Fast Pass. When the time comes to get another FP, go and get one before your return time. - Enjoy the shows and high capacity rides in the afternoon. - Do the rides you enjoyed again in the evening. Try to ride stuff during or after a parade. Example: Haunted Mansion was running a 45 minute wait in the afternoon. I waited to ride after the Spectromagic parade. Wait time was then 15 minutes. It looks like you're trying to do a "thrill ride tour" of the Disney parks. I actually was planning on doing it over the Memorial Day weekend but my plans changed. However, here is what I was planning: Start at 9:00 am Disney Hollywood Studios: first do Star Tours, then TOT (Fast Pass) and Rock N Roller Coaster (single rider line) Animal Kingdom: Kali River Rapids (Fast Pass), Expedition: Everest (single rider line), Primeval Whirl and Dinosaur (Fast Pass one while doing another) Epcot: Mission: Space (Fast Pass), Test Track (single rider line), Malestrom Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain (FP), Big Thunder, Splash Mountain (FP) I was planning on going Sunday. The latest park to close on that day is the Magic Kingdom. I would have started at MK since that's the busiest Disney park, but I would start with Star Tours since it just reopened and everyone wants to ride it. Good luck!
  16. ^I thought your nightmare was a romantic evening with me.
  17. *sigh* I wish I could be a Big Mike intern. *sigh*
  18. Well, it's set...my 500th credit will be Cheetah Hunt and I'm riding it on Memorial Day. If you want to meet up for this momentus occasion, I'll be at the Morocoo side entrance at 8:45 am. I'm not hard to find...I'm a tall Chinese guy. I'll probably have a TPR shirt or Florida Coaster Club shirt on. If you want to meet up, please send me a PM. I might even split a large Dippin Dots with all of you if you come.
  19. I should have went to the Holy Land Experience yesterday due to the Rapture, but instead I rented and watched "This Ain't Star Trek 2 XXX."
  20. ^You could have also bought a scanner at Best Buy for like $30. Hey, tomorrow is supposed to be the rapture, so what better time to visit the Holy Land Experience!
  21. Jungle Island looks fun, but it seems deserted. What day of the week did you visit?
  22. Two questions: 1.) Will there be a pre-night party at the Avatar Hotel? 2.) Will there be wetness on Big Spin?
  23. So why is it the Dania Beach Hurricane goes under, yet Uncle Bernie's continues to thrive?
