  1. During one of these Sea World shows, you will most likely hear "Mary, Did You Know?" It seems to be a Sea World/Busch Gardens tradition!
  2. They can sell chimichongas at a nearby food stand then.
  3. Keke's Breakfast Café outside of Universal Orlando (ok, a five minute drive from it). Best breakfast in Orlando!
  4. I wouldn't be mad if they built a new park which was all Nintendo themed. Then they better have "R.O.B. the Robot: The Ride!"
  5. I remember being very embarrassed to ride the Miner Mike. I had to travel all the way to Clearwater, FL for this credit. I couldn't get the seatbelt to strap around me. I even recruited some friends so I wouldn't feel so embarrassed (it didn't work). I knew then as ZI rode the Miner Mike that my credit whoredom sank to an all-time low.
  6. You know Erik and Smisty will be playing this course.
  7. I'm not making this up! Source: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/tourism/tourism-central-florida-blog/os-holy-land-experience-orlando-mini-golf-20151118-post.html I wonder... - Will one of the rules be to not take the Lord's name in vain if you miss a putt? - If you knock your ball into a water hazard, will Moses part the water so you ca play through?
  8. I'm surprised I haven't seen selfie stick porn. I wouldn't be surprised if it exists since porn has historically been the early adopters.
  9. Maybe someone at IAAPA can drop by the B&M booth and ask them nicely?
  10. I would have to say the Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management at the Magic Kingdom. I saw it once and vowed never again. If I had to choose between watching it and standing in the rain, I'd rather stand in the rain. Thankfully, the show reverted back to its original show.
  11. I don't like the idea of Cobra's Curse at BGT. I like spinning coasters, but I feel that they needed something to take over Gwazi's space. Personally, I think Cobra's Curse might just raise the bar for spinning coasters. Much better than yet another generic spinner. As for "Gwazi's space," be patient. Gwazi's queue was used as a haunted house at this year's Howl-O-Scream.
  12. The good thing about Universal parking is that you park in a garage. Unless you end up on the fifth floor, you won't come back to a hot car on a summer day.
  13. Lynx is the cheapest way, but it can take up to 3 hours and a few transfers to get there. I would look into taxis or Mears. Uber would be good too. Are you staying onsite at Disney? Many offsite hotels have a shuttle to and from the hotel to Universal for free or a nominal fee.

  15. I'm surprised the park didn't name this one "Flying Coaster."
  16. I remember the announcement at some Tokyo Disneysea shows that said to keep cameras at head level. Perhaps we need to provide such an announcement at U.S. Disney parks.
  17. Of the ones I've visited... 1.) Cedar Point 2.) Kings Dominion 3.) Kings Island 4.) Knotts Berry Farm 5.) Carowinds 6.) Michigan's Adventure 7.) Worlds of Fun 8.) Geuga Lake (RIP) 9.) Dorney Park
  18. Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts at Universal Studios Florida
  19. Any updates on the Starliner construction? I haven't really seen anything on it recently.
  20. 1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? (or if you don't know, just tell us if the videos auto-play or not in your newsfeed.) a. Yes b. No 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? Yes and yes 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) whatever interests me 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? Usually the whole thing unless it's boring to me 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) Not very important 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? I hate that Messenger shows your location when you send someone a message. 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? No, you are awesome!
  21. Unusual occurence at Universal recently...I have a medical boot on my right foot due to a foot ulcer. It's held onto my foot and ankle with three secure velcro straps. I went to Universal over President's Day weekend and I was able to ride the Hulk, Flight of the Hippogriff, Gringotts, and Mummy without removing it. This past weekend, when I rode the Hulk, I had to remove it before riding. It seems unusual that one week I was able to wear it and the next week I couldn't. I understand the hazards if it becomes loos and flies off my foot. However, saw guests wearing flip flops that held onto their feet with what looked like dental floss and they were able to keep the flip flops on while riding. I would think there is a greater chance of the flip flops flying off than my medical boot. I was also asked to remove it before riding Dragon's Challenge. I can see why I had to take it off on Dragon's Challenge, though. I was not asked to remove the boot when I rode Hollywood Rip Ride and Rockit. I suppose only the inverted coasters have this rule. I removed the boot when asked. It's important to follow the park rules and the Team Members are only doing their job. I did get the front row of the Hulk as a consolidation, though.
  22. I went on July 4 last year. All of the coasters had a 15-30 minute wait, except for Cheetah Hunt. It was running 30-45 minutes all day. I remember Sheikra, Kumba, and Montu having 15 minute waits pretty consistently all day. As for Gwazi, it is now permanently closed! I say good riddance! That ride was uninteresting and rough as hell! It was retracked and got Millenium Flyer trains. The ride was still rather uninteresting, but it was tolerable...but only for a few months. Then it went back to being rough as hell! Gwazi, Son of Beast is waiting for you in heaven!
  23. ^BNL was at Mardi Gras during the same President's Day weekend last year and I bet they will be around the same time next year. I must say the caliber of the bands has much improved over the years. Before, it used to be bands that made you say "Huh, they are still alive?" The Pointer Sisters gave me that sort of reaction.
  24. ^Some of the water sports bottles can shoot water like a super soaker.
  25. I'm tempted to throw gum at camera screens on selfie sticks when they block my view.
