  1. I remember a lawsuit where someone sued Universal because Halloween Horror Nights was too scary. Come on now!
  2. Top Fun gives the dangerzone new meaning.
  3. I suppose in the Dubai trip of 2014, these three parks won't be on the list...or will they so Robb and Elissa can torture us? After looking at these parks, I think I was much safer at Williams Grove. Williams Grove looks like Disneyland in comparison.
  4. The next Oddventure should be the Water Ski Museum and Fantasy of Flight in scenic Polk County, off exit 44 on I-4. I think cheesiness will be had in the museum!
  5. I rode Gwazi Lion on Superbowl Sunday. Tiger was down. The ride was a million times better! It wasn't silky smooth like Balder. It had some roughness but nothing really too unbearable. It's like a Kumba roughness. I sat in the middle and near the back. The back was much more intense. I rode it twice and enjoyed it. Gwazi is now certified headache-free!
  6. I hope you visited the Miami Metrozoo while staying in Miami.
  7. I have a friend who lives in Michigan. I sent her a video of Shivering Timbers. She said, "I don't like riding old wooden coasters." I checked rcdb.com. The coaster was built in 1998 and I sent her that date.
  8. ^I remember the view that I had in the Eejanaika queue. About 3 hours into the wait, a young man a few people in front of me put on this trucker's hat that said "X-F***in' Large." I stared at that hat for a long time, wondering if the guy knew what his hat really said.
  9. There's always Fuji-Q capacity... (Actual-Six Flags)/100 = Fuji-Q capacity
  10. Oooh...Pac-Man cartridge! It's one of the worst versions of Pac-Man (and one of the worst games), but still pretty cool! I hope I get an Atari 2600 Raiders of the Lost Ark and E.T. cartridge. Let's add more terrible games to the bag!
  11. I think this will have a one person train with one train on the track. Waits will surely be 4-5 hours! When I visited Fuji-Q, my wait for Eejanaika was 4 1/2 hours. After 4 hours, I wanted to get it over and done with. After I rode it, I did one more credit, but that was it. I was so tired and sick of the park that I didn't want to ride anything else.
  12. On our photos, I think we need to put a watermark on the watermark for an added, extra layer of security.
  13. It's too bad the poster's photos were deleted. I kind of liked them, even though they had a watermark and were a bit washed out.
  14. Great photos! I don't remember if I've ever been in that former Goodings store, but I remember going into a Goodings near Disney. The prices were pretty high. Store brand soda was like $4.50 for a 12 pack and this was in mid-90's dollars! Are there any Goodings left in Central Florida?
  15. I went to Busch Gardens on 1/21 hoping Gwazi would be open, but it wasn't. I couldn't make the official opening on 1/22 to ride the new and improved Gwazi. If I find myself in Tampa soon, I'll drop by and give Gwazi a ride.
  16. Great photos! I've always wanted to visit the Miami Seaquarium, but I'm not in Miami too often. I believe the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, FL has a manatee show. No, the mantee does not leap out of the water, but it's basically it's the keeper talking about the features of the manatee.
  17. No, they need to install lasers all around Splash Mountain. When a guest stands up and exits the log, the laser will shoot him in the forehead.
  18. I call it "Brake: The Ride." The ride comes to a near halt at the brake before the last dips.
  19. ^I think I donated one of those brochures to the Bag O' Crap, um, "crap!"
  20. Erik, while in the area, I hope you two journeyed down to Ft. Lauderdale to visit Uncle Bernie's.
  21. Great photos! I haven't been on the Hurricane in a few years. I should head over to the East coast to check it out again. That Florida Coaster Club sign is getting old! It says the "3rd annual Dania Beach Hurricane party." That was about 7 years ago!
  22. What happened to Ferrari World is kind of like what happened at a science museum I worked at about 15 years ago. The museum opened as a private entity and 7 months later, I was laid off and the museum was sold to the city because the museum had massive financial problems. The science museum is still running to this day. Now you can't really compare a theme park to a science museum, but maybe Ferrari World will still be open under government ownership 15 years from now.
  23. I love Jaxson's! I was there a few years ago. The food portions are pretty big and the ice cream is great! It does happen to be down the street from the best wooden roller coaster in Florida...not that there are very many in this state.
  24. ^Well, you know 99% of TPR women have restraining orders on me. But not Robb...
  25. Way back about 7-8 years ago, I was on Mantis in the pouring rain. The on-ride photo had me with my head down and my head soaked. You would not see Mantis running in a downpour at today's Cedar Point!
