How is traffic around Busch Gardens during HOS? I know in past years, if you weren't in the Busch Gardens parking lot by 6 pm, you'll be backed up in traffic for hours! I know it took me 2 hours to travel a few miles from Fowler Ave. to Busch Blvd.! I do plan to be in the parking lot before 5:30 pm, but how is traffic this year?

I never thought I'd say it, but... I enjoyed my visit to SFMM! Sure, SFMM had a 1 train operation on all coasters (except for Riddler's Revenge and Tatsu for 1-2 hours), an employee used profanity over the loadspeakers at Goldrusher, and a kid was kicked off Golitah for being too short and the ride ops didn't bother to measure them. But after experiencing Fuji-Q, SFMM looked like Disney in comparison! Come on guys, stop bashing SFMM until you've visited Fuji-Q!

Just a random thought...I know some of the group went to Fuji-Q on a weekday rather than on a weekend (like most of us did, on a Saturday no less). I wonder how weekday vs. weekend crowds were like. Would that have made any difference in our wait times? I would assume not, but I'm curious. I know I went to SFMM on a Friday in September and crowds were pretty light. I hate to see what crowds were like on Saturday!

Good luck in the army! That reminds me of a story...when I graduated from high school, I was set to room with a high school buddy in college. I checked with the university housing during the summer and I found out he was no longer my roommate. I tried calling and writing him, but I never got a response. One day in college, I got a postcard from him saying that he joined the army! He said that he didn't tell me because he "forgot" that he joined the army. How do you forget that you joined the army? Anyway, I always wondered what happened to him. I guess I better go to the next high school reunion and find out!

^I thought Fuji-Q was part of the min-Tokyo trip. I don't know if I would go back, even though I have 2 credits there to get. I'd rather spend an extra day at Disney, thank you.

Ironically, the Thomas coaster had the shortest line in the whole park. I think most of our group waited less than 5 minutes for it! Still, even with the short line, I skipped it. I was just too warn out from the 1.5 hour Dodopa wait, 3.25 hour Japanese X wait, and 30 minute (I think) wait for the Wild Mouse.

I'm just hoping Thomas Town at SFMM has a meet and greet with Sir Topem Hat. If not, it isn't Thomas Town at all.

Lou roomed with Dave. I don't think Dave was gay. BTW, I rather enjoyed hanging out with the panthers on during part of the Japan trip. They know how to have fun! No, not that sort of fun...

Wow! You have a TV from the 1980's I love the retro wood grain side panels. That's the only way to play an atari 2600 -- on an old 80's TV! Who needs HDTV?

I'm in the minority who didn't really like White Cyclone. It was like helix, airtime, helix, airtime. I think it was too much helix and not enough airtime. Steel Dragon 2000 was pretty cool, though.

The name may be unoriginal, but at least the logo looks cool. It may not be the greatest addition to Michigan's Adventure, but it's something. I'm sure the locals will go ga ga over it.

^^^I bet Robb was one of these "eye undressers." He gave me "the look" several times. I felt kind of dirty.

^^I did Zoo Boo last year. I didn't think it was all too scary. The houses were long and were nicely-decorated, but each house had about a half a dozen Scare-actors. In each house, it seemed like one Scare-actor was really working and trying to scare people. The others just seemed to linger around. I even saw a few of them sitting around and looking more scared of me than of them! I saw one Scare-actor sitting around when the house first opened. You'll never see Scare-actors sitting around at other Halloween events!

Great photos! I loved the Musical Circus. I didn't think it would be much from the preshow. Boy, was I wrong! The 3-D movie looked like it was made in the 70's, though.

Sadly, though, we will probably see condos on the property.
