  1. As a massive fan of the Blue Men, I am excited of a brand new, specially designed place for them. It looks great so far. I can understand how the amount of new shows make them less "special", but each show, the tour, and the albums are all a little bit different from the other. So they're all a unique experiences. However, with Orlando becoming the eleventh stage venue, I can see how it's a little bit of overkill. Three.
  2. The dates for the WDW Haunted Mansion Refurbishment are out: June 6th to September 12th. That’s the entire summer and, most likely, butting up to the first MNSSHP of the year. That's a lot of time. I know the rumors state that it's getting caught up to the advances of the CA Mansion, with Leota floating around the room all willy-nilly and brides armed with hatchets and things like that. However, those are all just silly rumors. What do you think they're going to do with all that time? Stuart P.S. I call AQUATRAX.
  3. Congratulations you guys! It brings me great joy to see you two so happy. It also brings me great joy that KT is in Kristen's initials somewhere. Stuart P.S. I'm going through the Target registry now.
  4. Rock N' Roller Coaster. I love RNR. It's a Vekoma that's never really banged me around, great music, and generally a fun ride.
  5. Very good friends is just the beginning my dear.
  6. It's one of the promo pictures for his show "Equus" opening on the West End late this month.
  7. That's not always the case. Many news organizations blur it out.
  8. Nice! Now if only it had the personalized home page, it'd be my home page now.
  9. This is true and that, unfortunately, was the poor discretion of Mr. Berdovsky (the artist charged). He also had some on the sides of hospitals, which didn't help either. I can't say how he performed was smart, but it also has the distinct feeling, now all this has exploded, that this guy is getting railroaded. He's the scapegoat for this. Frankly, that sucks. If you'd like to read more on how this is getting overblown, here's Howie Carr's opinion article from the Boston Herald.
  10. I agree whole heartedly. I'm sure they see this as a major opportunity to "make a statement", but they don't know what they are in the middle of. When the Governor of Massachusetts starts making threats to "take any and all legal action against Turner Broadcasting and its affiliates for any and all expenses incurred", and when they fall under the "affiliates" label, play time is over.
  11. What gets me about this is that these LED light boards have been in nine other cities (New York; Los Angeles; Chicago; Atlanta; Seattle; Portland, Ore.; Austin, Texas; San Francisco; and Philadelphia) for two to three weeks and no one has said anything. The only difference I can see is that the artists they got to hang the signs in Boston were dumb enough to hang them off of bridges and hospitals. For more stuff, here is their reaction of bust a gut laughter in court during their arraignment: and their completely farcical press conference after their release from jail. This is not going to end well for anyone.
  12. That's really cool! I hope they'll move their mobile lab over to MGM sometime. It's amazing how quick the "Living Character Initiative" has been moving along.
  13. This doesn't sit right with me either. Harry Potter seems to be the wrong license for IOA. Though there are many young adults that enjoy Harry Potter, myself included, the license is generally considered to be a children's license. Children and IOA, no matter how hard Universal tries, is a tough fit. I'd personally go and try to get Lord of the Rings over Harry Potter for IOA, but I'm not in charge. In any regard, Lost Continent is/was a magnificent idea for themeing that I thoroughly enjoy. Harry Potter doesn't really completely fit the land as it is set now. If they are going to retheme the entire area to be Harry Potter, that's going to be a lot of work. The whole Greek mythology and Sinbad side of Lost Continent would have to be completely rethemed, which includes Mythos and probably the elimination of Sinbad and Poseidon, as everyone has mentioned before. I really can't argue too many negatives on the latter of that statement, other than cost. I wonder what the time table would be for this. I can't imagine it taking any less than a year, and if they did it in a year’s time I'd be amazed. Seeing that book 7 comes out July 21st, I agree with Elissa and Reed, it's too little to late. Yes, it's a great marketing license, but it seems they're two steps behind again.
  14. May 2006-January 2007: Walt Disney World (college program): Haunted Mansion
  15. It is a weird gimmick. Those trains really don't need to be floorless. You can't touch the floor anyway unless you're 9 feet tall. Or Casey.
  16. ^Only if there are no delays at all. If there is any sort of delay in Griffon's opening, then it's all over for that marketing campaign.
  17. Well, there goes what makes Griffon cool and unique. This seems really odd. Think Busch just got a 2 for 1 deal on floorless trains?
  18. ^They wear a blue maternity sized shirt with a big P in a shield on the front with a red cape.
  19. Awesome update. I really enjoyed all the random ride parts everywhere. I'm also extremely jealous about Robb and Lou going to Wagamama. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE Wagamama. I can't wait till the one in Boston opens this year. Yaki Soba...mmmmmmmmmm
  20. Wow, they dug deep to find that birthday card! The Earful Tower being the logo for MGM?!? Mickey, Figment and Roger Rabbit?!? That is straight from the late 80's, early 90's. That's hysterical that Breakfastosaurus gave birthday cards from a time when Animal Kingdom wasn't even thought of. Was there any dust on the card?
  21. ^ All the parties have that problem, unfortunately. Usually, the only food options open are Pecos Bill's, Cosmic Ray's, Tony's and Liberty Tree. The rest are the snack options. Usually there isn't the attendance to warrant the opening of any other options.
