  1. Thank you. I liked Boston when I visited it, but it's been a good while since then. I'll have to go there again sometime. Ok, this should be the final set o pictures To finish off, a lovely view of the NYC skyline from the bus back to school. Evil building! Going to school in the Philly area, this looked vaguely familiar. Oh, if only I had more time, I could eat here.
  2. Even more pictures Rockefeller Center still has the ice skating rink, in the middle of March. The Rainbow Room, someplace I'm sure I'll never really visit. Radio City Music Hall. I love this style of architecture. I wonder how many times this sign crashes. A fork from the Hard Rock New York flashing the Floppie the Banjo Clown hand puppet! Show your resepects to Floppie! Hurray for debt! Viacom and MTV store and studios. For those who care. I am not really one of them. Ok, wtf are these mannequins doing?!? Wow, a Batz Maru store and a McDonalds. 42nd street is REALLY Elissa friendly. Just what NYC needs, a Ripley's. One thing I moderately like and one thing I completely fear, all on one street. Oh, and 42nd street is officially Elissa friendly. ABC's funky building You're welcome. I want the Yankees to wear this helmet from now on. It follows me. The Mansion follows me! So much for park exclusive.
  3. Some more pictures AHHHH! Too...much...pink! No, we don't promote professional wrestling to children. Lego Jack Sparrow. Legoland NYC, coming soon Dinoman! Candyland! Spiderman! Superman! The overview of Nerdlend. Fare thee well Nerdlend. I shall see you again. Then the official exercise machine of Nerdlend, Dance Dance SuperNerdland. To the video game section or, as I lovingly call it, Nerdlend. Yes, Nerdlend. Here's one of the towers of Nerdlend, the PS3 Tower. The Hot Wheels sign, which looked on fire. Oooooh....fire. Now, to the gigantic Toys R Us. This place is huge and has a ferris wheel! I suddenly feel like selling LCD screens. One of the many wall o' advertisement. I'd like to point out the four advertisements for Broadway shows, including two that aren't even out yet. I mean, Legally Blond: The Musical. Blech. However, Young Frankenstein next to it...I'm curious on how that wi Wow, that's a lot of stuff for M&M's. I guess you can do stuff with M&M's.
  4. So the local school business administration major group set up a trip to New York City. Of course I went for it! It's like they know me. Back to the M&M World. This shirt seems slightly familiar. Bye Bye NASDAQ. You were cool to visit. Who cares about them? Here's me on the stage. All of us NASDAQ people on stage. Wave to everyone outside! Opening bell! Ding ding ding. The NASDAQ floor. This lady did the Spanish language broadcast and she was AWESOME. The had that entire sheet memorized and went with a 7 minute set full of facts. Eep. The "trading floor" and stage of NASDAQ. This is what you see when you go by CNBC or Bloomsburg and stuff like that. Welcome to the inside of NASDAQ. There's not much, seeing it's a completely computerized market, but it's still cool! The Hershey Store, directly across from the M&M store. Coincidence...I think not. Really, I think not. The store in Hershey is better anyway. The store was actually kind of dinky. M&M World. Really, how much stuff can you do with M&M's? Wait...don't answer that. I'll see you in a little bit NASDAQ. Gotta wait though, seeing it's 8:30 and you're not open yet. Stop 1: Times Square!
  5. We've used the meal plan pretty much every time we visit since they've inducted it. If your family likes to eat, then it's a good idea. If it's a trip of a lifetime, it's probably an even better idea because you can fully experience the sit down restaurants. You're not going to run out of food, if that's what you are worried about. As a matter of fact, we've have had problem in the past of actually using all of snack credits. It may seem expensive, but we looked at our bills, tallied everything up and we found we actually saved money. I know, saving money at Disney, impossible right? Well, the program was still in its infancy so they'll get rid of the saving money part eventually. So far, it's a very good deal and I highly recommend it.
  6. It goes to show, never have Wes touch your children. In all seriousness, I'm glad everything is better. KidTums is possibly the cutest coaster baby ever. So when are you getting a KidTums sized patch jacket?
  7. I love that the site for SFNO is a 404. Very fitting. Sad, but fitting.
  8. I don't know much about British law. That being said, I don't think the Ropers have much of a chance. I think this appeal was brought upon because Alton, and all of Tussuad, was recently acquired. They could feel the money and they had an option to go for it. Though I also feel it's not about the money in this case. They very honestly feel disrupted in their every day lives because of this and, in the immortal words of Chairman Clench, "profit is simply a byproduct that we've learned to live with".
  9. Then call me nuts. I really don't like Qwazi at all for two specific words. It hurts. Add two more words. A lot. When I went on it during my first trip to Busch Africa, it wasn't too bad. I ranked it somewhere around Roar at SFA in terms of a ride, not the smoothest in the world but bearable. When I rode it again more recently, it felt like I was going to need a spinal transfusion by the end. It was not enjoyable. You could feel the whole thing rattle, the bad kind of rattle, as the ride went on. So my personal ranking is not too high. My personal ranking on this TR is pretty high though. Very nice work.
  10. Don't you mean geruchkatze, geruchkatze. Was sind sie dich einziehend? It looks like you guys had a great time over there. I, and my lovely companion, wish we had the foresight to get ourselves over there. Maybe next year.
  11. Bunch more pictures. On the way to the train station to head back home, we found this car outside of the local library. I think they decided to take the entire library with them. Colonial streets...yeah. The Derek and Wally section The place were yum is made. The Cheese Shop in Merchant's Square. If you like a good sandwich, here's your place. The next day, the printer making newspapers. Yes, we had a candlelight dinner. Seeing it is 18th century dining at night, however, it's kind of hard not to. The King's Arms, the tavern in which we had dinner. It was good. Eye bulgingly expensive, but good. Mmmm...wintergreeny Root beer #2, Virgil's Micro brewed Root Beer. The added hint of wintergreen was an interesting kick. The air alone in this store would send Dan into a coma. Wythe candies in Merchant's Square. Lots o chocolate. Mmmmm. Busch, just open up for us. Please. The mental hospital is white jacket only. The crazy cells. Those shackles look uncomfortable.
  12. More pictures. We all decide to wear silly hats! That's more like it. The crazy hallway. Wait, something doesn't seem right. The Colonial Mental Hospital a.k.a. home Ripping up all that grass to make it look nice and colonial like. They're filming right in front of the old hospital for a John Adam's miniseries. I find that hysterical since, to my knowledge, John Adams didn't visit Williamsburg. Ashley found a dress she really wanted. Too bad we are college students and can't afford anything. Hammer that nail blacksmith! Forget government, the blacksmith has fire! Woo fire! The House of Burgesses with our colonial tour guide. The Governor's Council, the place of real power in Colonial Virgina. The Great Court, which was the colonial Virgina equivalent to the Supreme Court. Found guilty here and, nine times out of ten, you'll be a little bit taller and a whole lot deader. The Capitol building. Not quite the same as the one we have now. A little more bricky. Mmm... root beer good. One of the reasons I love Williamsburg is the selection of beers. Root beers I mean. I became the Derek of root beers during this trip. Root beer #1, and my personal favorite, the local Chowning's Tavern local brew.
  13. Spring break time! This spring break, my ever lovely companion Ashley (Gorwingel) came all the way over from the other side of the country to be with me. I'm so lucky. So I decided to take her down to Williamsburg for the beginning of the break, to have something fun for the two of us. Unfortunately, the big thing that we'd want to see is still not open. Boo. So we went to the other thing in Williamsburg, Colonial Williamsburg! She liked the tricorne a bit better though. Time for colonial hat modeling! Ashley with her lovely straw hat with purple ribbon. Build those fences men! If you ever wondered what's inside a battery, this is it. That's right. All batteries are filled with massive amounts of weaponry. Guns...more guns. Colonial Pot...s Bye Palace! You were nice to look at! Ashley leading us out of the Governor’s garden maze. However, this hedge maze had no Queen of Hearts. Nor did it have an acceptable amount of wetness, seeing it had no wetness at all. They told us to look at the woodwork. Oooh. Pretty wood. I love the mini organ in the next sitting room. They did lot of sitting back then apparently. No dancing ghosts in this ballroom. At least, none that we can see at this moment. The wallpaper of this room, Governess' sitting room, is leather and 24 karat gold. How about that for fancy? I love the little house of cards in this sitting room. The foyer of the Palace where there are 800 some odd weapons on the wall that still can be used. Evil thoughts abound. The Governor's Palace or the big brick house of old
  14. A gallows themed drop tower. Brilliant! The London Dungeon is something I regret not seeing when I was over there. I did hear it was a bit "touristy", but with a boat ride themed to Traitor's Gate, a couple of traditional mazes and a mirror maze, it sounds like a fun little place.
  15. Happy Birthday Elissa! Have a wonderful birthday dinner of tomato and mozzarella salad, plain pasta and McDonald's!
  16. ^You have no idea how many times I was asked if he was in there and, shockingly, how many people were actually disappointed when I told them he wasn't.
  17. The throat cam is one of the movements originally from the Rock Concert Instruction Manual. Specifically it's Rock Star Movement #10: Getting a closer look at the audience. That's when they go to an audience member with a lipstick cam and get a closer look at the audience member with the camera by "sticking it down their throat".
  18. Well, it was a choice between the summer or fall/Halloween. They had to pick the lesser of two evils and frankly the Mansion makes its attendance numbers more often during the fall than the summer. I think it's going to be more than just Leota and the Bride. However, those two they are very complex and I can see them taking a long time for to fine tune. There is also time used in the deconstruction too, like taking out the old audio system and projection systems. I'm also taking a stab here that the queue will be changed as well to fit the outdoor space better. That would take some time too.
  19. From what I know, which is about jack squat, that's a definite. The only two constants I've heard with this is digital audio and projection. Both are warmly welcomed.
  20. I will admit as much as anyone, it needs the TLC badly. I'm glad to see it's finally getting it.
  21. Unfortunately, at this time I am not actually at the big spooky house. One of the things about the college program is that, eventually, you have to go back to school. That is where I am right now. I'm going to try to be back when I can, but it's difficult. April will most likely be a that I'm not there, seeing I'll be having papers and stuff due then. Sorry.
  22. I'm just waiting for someone with a laptop sitting, waiting to hack the wireless signal. That would be very cool, in a completely dorky and illegal way.
