  1. Megan Fox as a demonic cheerleader. I'm in. I'm not going to lie, if that was an option for death, I'd probably take it.
  2. Offspring with Pennywise and Frank Turner Saw them last Thursday, and was really impressed with everyone. I had never heard of Frank Turner, but after his set I went to his merch tent and bought his CD, and now I'm a huge fan. He was even asking anyone that wanted to hang out the next day to send him an e-mail. I e-mailed him just to say I really enjoyed his set and CD, and actually got a response. Pennywise were good, but I only know a few of their song to begin with. Just kind of funny to see these guys getting on up in their years singing about things like taking down the man/system. They did a cover of a Misfits song, along with a cover of You Gotta Fight Right by Beastie Boys. Offspring were just insane. Great energy, and it was just song after song with no stopping (except for intermission, but that is a song on an album, so I count it). Dexter did Gone Away on piano, and it just blew me away; it was nothing short of amazing. They finished with Self Esteem and everyone in attendance just going crazy. I had no voice for a good 24hrs afterward. Rivals for my number 1 concert spot.
  3. Looks pretty cool. I think if I'm able to stand on the glass floor of the CN Tower, I can do this.
  4. Chain: Pizza Pizza or Little Caesars Single Place: Vesuvios (Toronto)
  5. In no particular order: Gerry Dee - Been a fan of his since first seeing him on a Just for Laughs special years ago. Got to see him live last summer, and he was amazing. Also a really nice guy from Toronto and stuck around to sign stuff. Russell Peters - Been a fan since his Comedy Now! special, but recently have not really heard much of his stuff. I love his jokes about Toronto, because I usually know what he's talking about. I'd love to see him live, but I refuse to see a comedian in an arena, unless it holds less than 5000. Gabriel Iglesias - Saw his first comedy special back in 03 and have loved him since. His voices and stories are hilarious, especially the hotel one. Eric Idle, John Cleese, Anyone from Monty Python - Would love to see any of these guys live, but their tickets are just a bit out of my price range. Russell Brand - Since watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I loved his comedy. His biography was a great read, and his first DVD (Doing Life) was hilarious; yet to see his New York special. His twitter messages are so random, they crack me up every time. Others: Lewis Black - His whole routine always cracks me up. Jeff Dunham - All those puppets and routines are classic. Dane Cook (to an extent) - he's been kinda watered down now with all the exposure. Plus, as stated before, I refuse to see comedians in arenas. Whose Line...guys - Got to see a night with Collin and Brad; couldn't stop laughing. There's more that make me laugh and worth mentioning, but these are the guys that stick out.
  6. Damn, I missed the first episode. I only watched part of last year's, and it was all towards the end. I think the winner was talented, but not Vegas show talented; I still think the winner should have been those violin guys.
  7. This sounds awesome. Disney has always been something of a role model type to me, so this is something I can't wait to see. Just another thing to look forward to in my next visit to SF.
  8. Thanks, it looks much better in full res though, I just saved these off my facebook so I wouldn't have to resize them for the forum. I had no idea there were so many of the air force at first. I was just focusing on, and trying to get a picture of, the two above me that when I finally did I noticed there were another 4 off to the side.
  9. I bought NHL 09 the other day off Kijiji and played it for the first time to say. Did a Capitals vs Red Wings game and let it get to 5-0 Capitals by halfway through the second. I was the Wings. Needless to say, I suck.
  10. Instead of cleaning my mess of a room, I decided I'd post some pictures instead. Red Bull Air Force Flying past a red pylon Going into the Caesar's gate Into the quattro Out of the quattro I could have added the other winners, but they didn't look as excited as the 2nd place pilot. The Winners The Air Race girls
  11. ^The CF-18 isn't built in Canada. If I get bored later I may resize and post some of my pictures.
  12. Ok, does it really matter if it's a controlled free fall or not? You're stepping off of a platform on top of a tower and dropping towards the Earth. It's not like you're going to be thinking "hey, this isn't a true free fall!" on the way down. Watching the video it seemed like they fell pretty damn fast. Not skydiving, or suicide jumper fast, but still pretty fast. As for the price; Sky Jump in Auckland is priced at $195 NZD, which is roughly $123 USD for adults. No way in hell I'd pay that much.
  13. For anyone following the Phoenix Coyotes possible move to Ontario, it's not happening...at least not yet. This really sucks. Lots of people are hoping a team can come back up to Canada, since we can actually support teams. Why anyone would want to keep a team in Arizona, where they have been losing $36million a season for three seasons (and probably will continue), is beyond me; it makes no economic sense. I hope Balsillie doesn't give up and keeps fighting to bring the team to Canada. Arizona obviously doesn't care about the sport.Judge rules in bid to Move NHL's Coyotes
  14. During what month of pregnancy does a woman start to look pregnant? "September" For you family guy fans. I can't believe someone actually did it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHnX-fqlo1M
  15. The race was awesome. My girlfriend got burnt pretty bad, but it was a lot of fun. It was crazy how many pylon hits there were in the Super 8, it made going on to the Final 4 just seem easy for the racers. Food wasn't even has horribly priced as I thought it would be. I would've expected to pay around $7-$8 for the chicken caesar wrap instead of $5. I really think the race would also do well in Toronto by the islands, especially since there's an airport right there.
  16. Personally, I'd be more angry if my kid brought home a 3ft stuffed animal that would do nothing but collect dust.
  17. When I first heard about the site I went through and read them all (there's an FML right there), I've fallen behind quite a bit now and don't feel like catching up. My favorite was:
  18. I'll be there but only for the actual "race" on Sunday. Can't wait. I still need to buy my tickets, but seeing as there's still 48,000 left in the area I want, I think I'm ok. What I find funny about it this year is that the location is listed as Windsor, ON. Last year it was the Red Bull Air Race: Detroit. I wonder what made them change the "hosting" city.
  19. Please be open by September. Please be open by September. It's a long shot, but I can hope.

  21. Indy's sword fight is a definite win. But, my favorite is probably Qui-Gon Jinn vs. Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode 1. If you don't want to include (the vastly superior) lightsabers, then Jack vs. Norrington vs. Will in PotC: Dead Man's Chest.
  22. True. I'm sure the Wings love winning the cup, but I'm also sure they would prefer to win it at home so their fans can stick around and watch. Either way, I was stating that it was upsetting to me, not the Wings. Don't get me wrong, I was happy they won, but I would've liked to see the entire arena standing and cheering while they skated around, not filing out of the exits.
  23. I wish the Wings can win it at home this year, it was so upsetting to see them lift the cup to an empty arena.
  24. I'll give you the naming thing, because naming a team due to movie popularity is pretty dumb. But, Raptors (to me anyways) is still a kick ass name, especially compared to the other names that were being looked at (Beavers, Bobcats, Dragons, Grizzlies, Hogs, Scorpions, T-Rex, Tarantulas, and Terriers). As for the picture, I just like how there is actually a Raptor on the jersey instead of just "Toronto" or "Raptors." I always find it kind of dumb when the teams don't really have any visual representation of their team on their jerseys. But, like you said, to each his own.
  25. BeemerBoy, I love the old Raptors jersey. It at least had, you know, a Raptor on it. The closest thing the new jersey has is the basketball/raptor footprint.
