I play, but only at church one day a week. Only been doing it for a couple years so I still stink at it. I don't have a set at home. I think the church has a pearl set. I really don't like the sound of the snare, but I haven't been able tune it yet.

On the topic of coins. I bought mine last week (friday) and still haven't gotten them. How long does it take for those of you who have gotten yours. I could really care less about the coins, I did more to help the park.

so they were planning on demo'ing Joyland to put in a strip mall? Did I read that right, or were they planning on adding a strip mall on the property. Seeing how they didn't pay the lease, I see the Nelson's side, seeing how they were just evicted without notice, I can see the other side. Unless in the lease it states that they can be kicked out without warning.

if the price of oil per barrel sets the price, then why was gas prices going up when oil prices were going down or staying steady. I look at oil prices every day. and prices were at 63 a barrel to now, less than that when I last looked.

They say this every year. Refinery problems, supply issues, possible terror attacks. There is only one group of people responsible for the high prices at the highest level. The market traders. There is a refinery down in indiana, but when a trader sees this, they raise prices up, even if it won't matter that much. Then when the traders raise prices, refineries raise prices, so gas stations raise prices. And Oil companies are making billions in profits. I could see if they were only making millions, but billions is a whole other story. What the oil companies don't see is the min. to low wage job people working two jobs just to make it and the 50 cents they raise it, can kill them to the point of choosing food or gas. I am lucky enough to have a descent gas mileage car. But others drive older cars that get crappy mileage. The Federal gov't is getting hit hard too. Someone told me that the USPS has the largest fleet of vehicles in the world. And for every penny raise gas price, it cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I guess I should mention my other "parents". This would by my friends parents. Thier names are tim and connie. Tim has really showed me quite a few things. From changing the oil in the car to helping renovate thier cabin. They allow me to come up to the cabin, use thier boat, kayaks, and pedal boat. They buy me a nice christmas present every year when they don't have too.

My dad, he is a person, doesn't really do anthing for his kids. Haven' actually done anything with him for years. Going to try to get him to gtake me to his company picnic at holiday world. My mom, seperated at me in my teens. I am now making the most money in the household an dshe does the best she can.

Friday, in Terre Haute, paid 3.19. About 14 dollars. Saturday, in Evansville, 2.90, coast 18 dollars Today, in Terre Haute, paid 3.12 (with my discounted cents off at work I had gotten) regurally 3.18. Cost was 18 dollars. On Friday, I drove 5 days without getting gas. Saturday, I stopped halfway on my way home from Holiday World. and todays was the rest of the trip home from Holiday World and some city driving. My car, according to GM, should get 20/28 mpg. Doing Highway driving, I pushed it up to 31 plus, because when I fill I up, I fill it up to the point of almost coming out. So it is usally a extra gallon in from the point of auto shut off. The only thing I have done is a K and N air filter and replaced some worn parts. I am getting a CAI and a muffler, which should push it higher. I also, only use the grade up from 87. Mostly 89 sometimes 91. Adam "I want a motorcycle" K

next sunday, no, sunday's alone are pretty slow, but usually around this time of year it is pretty slow. Coaster wise, you should be able to get everything done in 4 hours. Then the flats a additional 2. The water will be open, but I bet the water will be a little bit cold. But it is going to be in the 80's all week, so it shouldn't be bad. Oh, I forgot to mention in my trip report. I was at the rope that closed off the quickest section to the Voyage. As soon as that rope dropped, it was like the running of the Bulls. It was worth it, I was on the first public train out this year!

John Ivers of Vincennes built a homemade roller coaster named the blue flash. A couple years ago he started building the Blue Flash II. A new roller coaster in his front year. I am pretty sure there is a post about it (Blue Flash) somewhere on here).

On my way home, I stopped north of Vincennes to see Don Ivers of the Blue Flash Coaster. I had been seeing a new piece of track when I went down to get my season pass. And wouldn’t you know it. He is building Blue Flash II. Construction Pictures. As you can see, the car is going to be two cars. Hooked together by a trailor hitch. He said he plans to try to have it be able to ride 4 people and instead of a ford escort seat, a real roller coaster car. I wanted to stop on my way to HW, but waited till my way home, good thing because he had just put in some more track. I don’t know if this coaster is going to include anything but a lift hill and flat track, but at this point, that is what it looks like. For you life hill people Some Blue Flash Pics.
