OMG that would be amazing. I do find it odd that they have one more maze to announce but haven't been able to do so. With the build up they need something that's equal or above the already announced mazes and with rumors of it being Resident Evil, that just doesn't scream "OMFG I have to go to HHN to see that Resident Evil maze". Honestly, Resident Evil will be just as excited as any of the other mazes announced, which isn't saying that much.

it's weird that people can't be bothered to read the last page worth of posts before asking a question. No reason to be so rude, especially if you aren't going to use proper capitalization. And for the question, it has been posted that they hope to have it open by Labor Day Weekend. But no one knows for sure.

I don't know of any theme park that is going to let you sleep overnight in their parking lot. This really doesn't sound like a realistic plan to tell you the truth. You are talking about driving several hours to the nearest park that will be open during Spring Break. What is the closest, Silver Dollar City? You can't exactly drive all night, go to the park all-day and then drive all night back to Chicago. Most hotels will require you to be 18 years old or older, so where would you sleep? At your age and without your parents going along with you, stick to parks that you can get to within 3-4 hours. That way you can do everything in one long day.

As far as I know, GCI has only been brought up because a poster on here said they saw a guy surveying with what looked like a GCI logo on it. Not exactly definitive proof.

Yes I know, I was just saying it would be nice to do some real "discussing" on the Discussion thread. Anyways I'm shocked Ride-Ops would be mentioning the Lake Monster before it's confirmation... That seems like something that in any other park would cause for punishment (Kings Island i think.. and Especially Cedar Point) I mean leave it to darien lake to loosely cover up a new coaster and all but some parks keep their new rides tightly under wraps until announcement day. Sometimes you can just see the more Laid Back aspect of it in Parks like Darien. Still excited though! It's cool. Just remember in the future not to bump without adding anything. Thanks.

I'll use any excuse to ride Phoenix again so for that I am excited Flying Turns is finally going to open. It will definitely be one of the more unique credits I would of been on.

^Just rode 3 different Batman clones in less than one week, and not one ride was anywhere near like you just described. In fact, I haven't had a single ride on a Batman clone like you just described. I know the majority of the posters on this forum would be beyond thrilled if Banshee had the forces that are on Batman. Oh, and the only thing "insane" about MorganFan's comment, was that he said Raptor wasn't forceful when he rode it.

It's funny when you put things into "perspective." When we first rode it in 2004, it was "meh" compared to the other Intamin hypers (GeForce, Goliath, Superman, etc, etc...) and it's still today "meh" compared to some of the newer Intamin coasters (I-305, Mega-lites, Skyrush, etc), but it's still WAAAAAAAY better than most B&M hypers, wing riders, or inverts that have come out in the last 10 years! Yeah, I will take a meh Intamin Mega over a cookie-cutter B&M Hyper anyday.
