  1. One of the moderators will post it up. Yup. I know everyone is excited but please refrain from posting any official details. Otherwise, we will have several posts saying the same thing. A moderator will post the official announcement and you guys can discuss away!
  2. There is absolutely nothing here pointing to a launched coaster. How on earth are we even discussing such a thing?!?!
  3. ^Like I said, that made absolutely no sense.
  4. I don't see what the original cost would have to do with the new conversion. Given the cost of inflation and the fact this would be a brand new ride they can market, this project would be independent of the original coaster's construction costs.
  5. ^^I couldn't find your name but it is very difficult since Facebook has no search function for the banned list. ^I did find yours. Do you remember the last time you posted to the Facebook page? It is nearly impossible for me to find what led to your banning amongst all the comments and posts. Robb is still away on the Texas/Midwest trip so it will be up to his discretion rather to unban you.
  6. ^As long as it still exists, and TPR makes a visit there, I am going!!!
  7. ^Yeah, exactly. I am assuming Woodie Warrior meant they would of closed the ride before now if it was going to get the RMC makeover. Iron Rattler shows it can be closed at the end of the summer season and open by late spring.
  8. ^You will not find a bigger support group for the LGBT community than right here on TPR. Unfortunately, we still live in an ass-backwards society and the state law definition of "marriage" will always take precedent here.
  9. ^Huh? I am not sure what you are asking.
  10. ^Do you think Six Flags St. Louis planned to get a Boomerang last year? If Six Flags Corporate wants it, the park will get it. And the rumor isn't just on a local level...
  11. Just a friendly reminder: When there is an obvious troll posting on the forum, please do not respond. All you are doing is egging them on.
  12. Just rode The Boss for the first time yesterday and it was super rough. In fact, the majority of the trip participants we encountered agreed with how horribly shaky it was. Don't know what is leading to some of you thinking it is a smooth ride, but whatever those elements are, they certainly weren't happening yesterday.
  13. Would you be ok with shortening the Boss in order to feed costs down? Or would you keep it the same instead? What about a barrel roll or two and no I-beam track or whatever it's called? That's what Dave Roemer asked me when I suggested Iron Boss. Sure, why not. They shortened Rattler significantly in the transformation.
  14. I am not ready to talk about dragons for a while. [/inside joke]
  15. The park was busy today as well. I was very impressed with the park which came as a surprise after the first two Six Flags experiences we had on the Texas/Midwest trip. All the staff from the managers to the ride-ops were awesome. An Iron Boss could really do this park wonders.
  16. Togo's tend to be very rough, painful, and uncomfortable rides (except the Ultra Twisters). Go on YouTube and watch Robb's video on Manhattan Express and you'll understand. Togo also manufactured Viper at SFGAd, which was also rough as well from what I hear. Overall, Togo rides just aren't the greatest. You obviously never rode Ultra Twister at SFAW before. You obviously don't read very well.
  17. LOL! Is this two years in a row now that a Cedar Fair ride has been leaked because their website designer left the page unsecure?!?
  18. Summer Adventures was a huge surprise! Jungle Twist was so out of control, Jake and I spun for a good 30 seconds after the ride stopped. The dark ride was a nice surprise and the water tokens were a nice touch by the park.
  19. For most town's, the only way you are going to be able to get tickets from other people's towns is to click on their front gate. They regenerate tickets every two hours, but once someone clicks on it, they will be gone until the next two hour period. So, right now where most people only have the gate and ring toss, you will just have to be quicker than everyone else.
  20. Poltergeist - Six Flags Fiesta Texas
  21. Ugh, can we go back to talking about more pleasant topics like bowling pins riding coasters.
