  1. ^Hmm, are you saying that is the exact point she was ejected from the ride? Or is that a live shot? A little confused by your post otherwise.
  2. I don't see how a park can really set a weight/size limitation. Short of an employee at the line entrance taking everyone's body measurements with a tape measure, it really isn't specifically about a person's weight that is the problem. Like Robb said, it is more about volume. Someone could weigh 230 lbs and have a 52 waist and not be able to fit on a coaster, where someone who weighs 260 and has a 46 waist could ride. It's all about where that person holds their weight.
  3. Why? Because of the Texas Giant incident? Outlaw Run doesn't use the same trains as NTAG and Outlaw Run has been running as usual since the incident.
  4. If Disneyland was in San Diego, they would have been first. Confusing post is confusing.
  5. Sounds like you guys planned your rainy day perfectly. I wonder which park I will go to next... This park or the one in Florida?
  6. Outlaw Run has only been opened for a few months. How have you "always heard about this duel" between it and El Toro?!? Not many people have been on Outlaw Run yet, so it is pointless to have a discussion between it and El Toro. Give it a couple of years.
  7. Here is that picture that is supposedly the victim:
  8. ^Thanks for the update. Looks like the only other ride that is still closed because of this is Iron Rattler.
  9. I haven't seen anything other than a few tweets from random people saying that it is closed.
  10. You have absolutely no clue if this was a ride operator error, the fault of the lady that died, or a manufacturer error. Why don't you save the Perry Mason posts for when the investigation results come out?!?!
  11. Quit making terrible posts. There has been absolutely zero information as to what caused the accident at SFOT today, and to jump to such a conclusion is ridiculous.
  12. While it is terrible someone has lost their life riding a roller coaster, let's not start with the doom and gloom for RMC already. This has happened before (most notably with the Intamin Superman coasters) and that company hasn't gone anywhere. Let's wait until the investigation has been completed before we act like RMC is at fault here.
  13. I don't really have one favorite but more of a list of dark rides I have to ride every park visit. Test Track Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of DarKastle Men in Black Haunted Mansion
  14. You should never say there isn't enough room at a park. There are way too many instances where parks have fit coasters in spots that were not previously thought to have enough space. Just look at SFOG. I would of never dreamed they could of fit a B&M hyper where they did, but sure enough...
  15. I think Herschend should build an original RMC-designed coasters for all of their parks! If this happens, it would definitely put Darien Lake high on my list to visit in the near future.
  16. It Was There That I Saw You - ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of the Dead
  17. Did you read what Chuck posted two posts above yours? It is estimated to be closed for another week.
  18. This horrible song on the children's show my kids are watching right now.
  19. ^A new parade or a new show? I wouldn't expect too much after Iron Rattler. Possibly, a flat ride at the most.
  20. Wouldn't Twister and Flying Turns qualify as In-House? I know they were both designed by Knoebels inspired by defunct coasters.
