  1. ^You have to start sometime. And you really can't understand unless you actually have kids. With all the kiddie rides in one spot it is harder for families to split up so the "big kids" can go ride the bigger rides while someone stays with the smaller children. Having it more spread out, makes it much easier to plan your day. Dollywood is a perfect example of a park that does it right.
  2. This really is a brilliant layout. They are getting a TON of action in a long, narrow footprint. Can't wait to ride this.
  3. ^You are from Atlanta so you should know that "25 minutes away" can easily be an hour or more with Atlanta traffic. I honestly don't see White Water going anywhere because of this announcement. It would be more likely that Six Flags sells off the property or this is already part of the plan.
  4. Outlaw Run is short but that doesn't stop it from being one of the top coasters on the planet.
  5. I think now that they have several months of operation out of their own trains, they are happy enough with their performance that they no longer have to go with the Gerstlauer trains. But, I am sure the SFOT incident helped make that decision much easier.
  6. ^Exactly. It's not like it is going to become a desolate wasteland in two years. Marietta is on the other side of town and much easier for people living north of the city to get to.
  7. Please use the search function before starting a new thread. We already have a topic here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=18378&hilit=Joke
  8. I recognize that video game screenshot. From the HHN Facebook page: Zombies, Zombies, Zombies
  9. The whole thing is laughable. If no evidence of wrong-doing was found, then why the suspension in the first place?
  10. I assume your family would fly into an airport and rent a car? More info of your travel plans would be useful information for us to offer you advice.
  11. That Sunday was one of my favorite days of the trip and like you said we didn't ride a single coaster. Really enjoying your TR!
  12. ^Actually, there wasn't anything wrong with his post. And please refrain from being rude to other members on the site.
  13. To summarize, thrillskeeker23 needs to reread the site's TOS.
  14. Why announce something this isn't going to ready until a couple of weeks before next year's announcements???
  15. ^^The restraints do make you ride on the defensive side. Still an amazing, fun ride for me. Just have to keep your head firmly against the headrest to avoid banging into the restraints.
  16. Thanks for shedding some light on it for us, Shane.
  17. ^^Right. Meant to just say Wild Mouse coasters. I think the point was made though.
  18. Looks like Six Flags America is becoming the new Dorney Park. It really does make sense to move the coaster to another Six Flags park. Great America really didn't need two spinning mouse coasters.
  19. ^Agreed. The Back seat at night was just insane. Would of liked to have tried El Toro before they slowed down the lift hill.
  20. A little cranky last night? We do not discriminate with what type of park we complain about on TPR, thank you very much.
  21. Unfortunately, like Robb and Elissa referred to, you can't really go by what the industry standard is when you are dealing with Cedar Point. Most of their rides have higher minimum height requirements than the standard.
  22. I watched it with the sound off just to get the gist of the new additions, and even muted I wanted to strangle that family.
