  1. "The War"- Angels & Airwaves
  2. With how big of a deal they are making about this, and with the little gauge thing on the website not even half way up and already saying 87 ft, I highly doubt it's a Hydra sized floorless. A ginormous floorless wouldn't completely surprise me though.
  3. ^Mmmm what I would give for some Buffalo Bill's Orange Cream Ale right about now. I love that stuff. I need to pick some up next time I'm in Cincinnati (where I know a place that has it).
  4. You did WHAT!?!? I think Paul and I might have to organize a raid of Cameron's place! It was great to finally meet you too Lou. Took a while, but it was worth the wait! Lookin' forward to your pics. Especially the one of us and Paul crammed in the Music Express!
  5. The blue angels just flew over my house and it was really flippin' awesome.
  6. Jealous. It's one of my favorite parks. It's small, but it's unique and has a lot of charm. Be sure and rock the old school flume into the lake! My next will probably be either SFKK, SFGAm, or Dollywood. If I had to guess, I'd say SFKK. Maybe in late September or October.
  7. I don't know, it'll probably end up being a hyper, but I'm just going to be slightly ballsy and say it's a floorless. Just basing it off the clue that it's something Canada has never seen before. The hyper argument makes sense though. I'm probably just dreaming though, because part of me just wants to see a massive looper get built, like back in the late 80's, early 90's when we saw the 170+ft, 7 inversion loopers from arrow, or rides like Steel Phantom, Vortex, etc. But again, I recognize that I'm just dreaming and going on a long shot here.
  8. "Luminiferous Ether"- Virginia Coalition
  9. I pay off my student loans, buy myself a good car (something simple like a new Honda), and then I put the rest in the bank so by the time I'm 40, I'm about a billionaire. Though they probably won't pay me fast enough to actually put enough of it in the bank to make me a billionaire by the time I'm 40. It's a nice thought though.
  10. Yeah, actually it is. It's a Canon A530. I definitely need to send it off soon. It's been like that for probably four months. Yeah dude, my car is littered with wrappers and I still have plenty more uneaten ones. I had so many last night that I gave myself a headache from all the sugar. But once you have one, you can't stop!!! It's ridiculous!
  11. No, the last reports were done with camera that was on loan. Unfortunately, I had to give it back. Mine is off to the manufacturer now though. Time to make good of my warranty. Thanks for the comments guys. Paul, it was good to meet you too. It was hot as balls though. Still a great time. And good god, I can't stop eating these strawberry tootsie rolls. This stuff is like crack. Just like that ball game was. Flipdude, I accidently deleted the pics off my actual camera. Thanks though.
  12. ^Daemonen at Tivoli Gardens. It's a small, compact floorless.
  13. Not quite, Chief. They obviously use that track segment on any of their coasters. Photo from rcdb.com
  14. So after classes got out today, I drove like a mad man up to Indiana Beach to meet up with Lou, Cameron, and Paul (Carnage). This meant that I got a major culture credit. Seeing how my experiences abroad are limited to a couple hours in Windsor, Ontario, spending four hours with a Brit, an Aussie, and a Canabian definitely topped that, even if it was still in Indiana. There was nobody at the park. I mean it was bad... well, not for us at least. There would be one person for multiple rides who would just run in between rides to cater to the 'lines', which generally just consisted of a single group. It was a pretty sweet day though. We got some intimate moments going on by "crahming" too many people into the cars of various rides and we played the greatest game ever created. It seriously needs to be in Vegas. Overall, it was a great time though. I had a lot of fun with those guys. It was great to finally meet them. Check out the pics! I got hopped up on our loot on the way home. Holy crap these things are amazing!! Lou gave her approval of LoCoSuMo. Or maybe a ridongculously large bag of strawberry tootsie rolls! We gotta go with the model ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lou showcases our earnings. What to get though? Then we hit up that one game. Seriously, this stuff is ridiculously addictive. It should have a warning label. Why isn't it in Vegas? After failing this shot once already, I tried it again but forgot to take the idiotic, "I wonder if it'll work this time" look off of my face. Random... The Canabian and Aussie liked them too. I at first thought this was just a bad picture, but then I noticed that Lou is telling me this particular Yo-Yo is #1 on her top swings list. Try and go deep into the minds of Cameron and Paul... what are they thinking?? Maybe, "It's hot as balls. Why is Lou wearing pants?" Or, "why is Scott randomly taking photos of us?" You decide... Some hot, nasty skyride action going on. And I'm about to get pissed because I accidentally erased a bunch of my pictures. Some freaky, mysterious green goo that's taking over Lake Shafer... or maybe just algae. So this is pretty much the entire park. Small, but they pack in the fun. There he is! Paul got in on the action too. Cameron, where were you? I hear all the cool kids take pictures of their friends taking pictures of them. So Lou and I wanted to see what the rage was all about. This place is so strange, but cool. Seriously, it's a random, jam-packed pier in the middle of nowhere. Time to meet some TPR folk, and get reminded that there is more than corn in Indiana.
  15. "Better Off Now (That You're Gone)"- Will Hoge
  16. Just when I was about to write in the rant thread about how I left my USB cord that allows me to transfer my pictures onto my laptop at home (I just moved into my house at school), I thought of one last place to look, and sure enough, it was there. Now I can do a TR about my trip today. Plus, I'm eating pineapple.... straight out of the can. That's how we roll in Nap-town.
  17. Eh, I don't know. It's hit or miss I guess. They can be annoying at times, but I've never had huge problems with them. I know I had a blast when my school went. And we generally never really had problems, and that's keeping in mind that most of the times that I went with my school, it was to competitions so tons of other schools would go to the parks the same days. I don't know, maybe I've had good luck. The worst I've had to deal with was last year at SFOG when a group of teen girls wouldn't stop singing their choir songs in line. Maybe if they were good I wouldn't have minded.
  18. "Walk on the Ocean"- Toad The Wet Sprocket
  19. Am I missing something? The picture seems quite meaningless to me because I haven't found anything about it in which there is an obvious relation to Canada's Wonderland... like where it came from. The address, files, or anything else doesn't seem to have any connection to the park. Unless I'm just missing something big.
  20. They had to complete the Ohio trifecta somehow... "CAN YOU SURVIVE THE SKYHAWK, THUNDERHAWK, AND FIREHAWK!?" (said in a towering voice from that movie trailer guy) So much animosity towards Kings Island! And I'm no fanboy! Or am I? I guess I just have an appreciation for the place because it's been my home park pretty much my entire life. It has sorta gone downhill. It's too bad you didn't have a better time, Tom. At one time, those rides were all somewhat smooth and a lot of fun! As always, great TR with some freakin' sweet pics. Keep them comin'!
  21. "Scotty Doesn't Know"- Lustra I have my own theme song.
  22. -I'd change that one part on T2 that's after the lift hill, but before the brake run. You know, that part that sucks. -I'd give the Mr. Freezes a faster launch, acceleration-wise. It's such an awesome ride already. If only it had an Xcelerator style launch!
  23. My longest genuine wait would probably be 3 hours and 15 minutes for Son of Beast opening year. I've arguably waited about five hours though for Maverick. Granted, most everything else was closed too due to weather.
  24. Yeah, at $30 mill, I'm going to guess that this project either falls through or is just a glorified carnival.
