Part of Drachen Fire's problem was location. In addition to banging up riders, a lot of people didn't even know it existed; and a lot of those who knew about it couldn't find the damn ride. Location plus lawsuits...

Okay, so I've been saying the term "hot" since the beginning of highschool (1996). Then like 7 or 8 years later, Paris Hilton starts saying it nonstop. Now when I say something is "hot", people are like "Eww, why are you trying to be like Paris Hilton?" IM NOT!! PARIS BITES OFF KIP@!! Fix your nose, bitch! -kip- P.S. Carrying around a ridiculously tiny dog does not make you sexy

Artistic help or ideas for a tattoo?
Mind Eraser replied to sfne2005's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I printed the Mind Eraser logo off the web, sized it to my liking, and took it to the tat shop. I had it tattooed on my right, outer ankle. I actually thought long and hard about my decision. The SFA Mind Eraser means a lot to me - so much history, so many memories (I grew up riding it, I was the first person on it, and I even operated it for a season). I would never get another coaster tattoo, however, because there is no other ride that means that much to me. Eventually, I am going to get some kind of non-coaster-related band around my left ankle. I'm going through piercing withdrawl right now, though. I've always had facial piercings since I was 16; and now, I have none. Eyebrow, nose, lip, labrat... gone gone gone! All I have left is my tongue and both nipples. -
I'm gonna sneak in your house one night and shave your head.

I'm about 6'1 (maybe 6'2) and I found Ninja to be perfectly rerideable. However, I did ride in the front row of the last car - Homey G. is absolutely right.

The Redskins/Cowboys ending was crazy! -
Verizon is great. The best feature is "IN" - unlimited free calling to and from other Verizon members, 24/7. All of my family and friends have Verizon, so I never have to worry about minutes.

New for 2006, SFEG
Mind Eraser replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I didn't get the full story; but, apparently, the Chaos restraints have been recalled - not the entire ride. The problem is, Chance doesn't support their Chaos rides anymore. Instead of having the restraint problem fixed, some parks are simply removing the entire ride. So, in addition to SFEG, I've heard that Indiana Beach's may be going out. SFA's too... This is all through the grapevine, so who knows. -
I live a couple hours from both parks. Personally, I enjoy Hershey more, due to ride selection. BGW is absolutely gorgeous; but in my opinion, it only has two excellent rides - Apollo and Alpengeist. Hersheypark has a lot of charm, and a wonderful selection of coasters. Also, there is Chocolate World, for those who like history (and chocolate!).

I never understood why highschool teachers give out assloads of homework. You already devote like 7+ hours a day to school. It seems pretty narcissistic of the teachers, like "Haha! My class is more important than everything else in your life!" I worked after school sometimes, and I played sports other times. My English teacher assigned so much reading for homework, I literally didn't have enough time to finish it. That's why Cliff's Notes were my best friend! And I still managed to graduate with a 4.0 GPA! Highschool sucks. Life is so much better after you graduate. People will actually start to treat you like a person. Asking permission to take a piss?? F**K YOU!

The employees attitudes are directly correlated to the guests' behavior. One can only be bullied, threatened, yelled at, and cussed out by the park guests so many times before the smiles start to fade. It's normal to be called names and mocked by the guests. My favorite was when some dude called me a "white bitch" while I was working on Joker's Jinx. I've even seen guests attempt to assault the ride ops (and in some cases, they succeeded - I kid you not). Combine that with the nasty heat and the poor wages, and you honestly expect the employees to be cheerful? I only lasted two seasons at SFA, not even two full seasons. Aside from the horrible clientele, the job can actually be fun, which is why some people go back. Here's a tip: try smiling at and talking to the employees. Most are nice kids. Also, when I was there, management held a contest where the employee of the year received a Sebring convertible. You gotta give them some credit, they are trying.

Top Thrill Dragster Down again?
Mind Eraser replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I heard Kingda Ka is down too...? -
I agree and I don't. I also don't like it when gay people become outrageous with their sexuality. However, there is a huge double standard here: when a gay man or woman makes any remarks about the same sex, he or she is said to be "flaunting their sexuality". Whereas, you can go anywhere and see a straight couple holding hands or kissing, and no one says they're "flaunting" anything. Ya know what I mean?

The Wildest Wild Mouse
Mind Eraser replied to SteveC's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I found that Wild Adventures' mouse was equal to or wilder than Hershey's. Personally, I enjoy the Arrow Mad Mice most of all (particularly Myrtle Beach's!) -
Is it a law that motorcyclists have to be arrogant, irresponsible drivers? They drive way too fast, cut people off, slide across multiple lanes, etc. -kip-

Who wants to buy Clementon Park?
Mind Eraser replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Why would anybody want to buy Clementon? It's a total dump. There are only one or two good rides and the prices are steep. I would never ever go back, but J2 is too damn good! -
Donate To Red Cross Through iTunes
Mind Eraser replied to Jose Eber's topic in Random, Random, Random
Cool! Thanks for the heads up. I have been wanting to donate to the Red Cross, but I wasn't sure how. Now, I just donated $25. That can buy a pair or two of shoes. -kip-
