SeaWorld Orlando (SWO) Discussion Thread
Moose replied to disneygurlz2s's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think pretty much everyone on here realizes that the move is propaganda. If you have any doubts, go to the movie's webpage and it will become even more obvious. Despite it being propaganda, there are some truths behind it. Will it stop me from supporting the park? No. Do I think Sea World needs to continue to change their practices. Yes. If SeaWorld cared for the animals now the same way that they were cared for when Tilly was in Canada (yes that was NOT Sea world) there would reason to boycott, but that is far from the case. -

^ Thank you for that. It seems a lot of companies make two versions with a feature most want to use only in the more expensive version. The pro version here seems like it has great stuff in it, but probably features that will not be missed by most non-professional users. -

I loooove Caleb hope he comes back if they ever bring back past survivors again. (Hah, as if they wouldn't do that again!) I would have voted for Monica had I been on the jury.

SeaWorld Orlando (SWO) Discussion Thread
Moose replied to disneygurlz2s's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I agreed with everything you posted, but this was the part that impacted me the most. Everything else The move said sea world did wasn't good but it didn't hot me like this one thing did. It's awful that they did(/do?) this but it will not stop me from visiting their parks or knowing that without the parks, marine mammals would be in much more in danger in the wild than many of them already are. -

^Same. -
Thanks Ron. That was 9 years ago so I'm fine with it now, but I held a resentment for a while. So it was you and Dave that got me to watch, I couldn't remember who it was!

My guess is that it had to do with travel expenses in addition to park entrance fees. -

I thought they had said two weeks. It's now been over three weeks with not a peep about it. I wonder what is going on. -
I was never a fan of drag (that could be a result of my ex leaving me for a drag queen), but watched drag race on a TPR trip (thanks to Miles) and loved it. It really is a fun show that combines the best of ANTM with Project Runway sprinkled with tons of camp.

^They had mentioned doing something like that here too, but I think it would be only newly built developments at first. I honk that part if t would be a way to ease into doing it for everyone. I wouldn't like the change, but understand why you'd be even more adverse to it.

I love that the park is already landscaping the ride. I was concerned that that part of construction would slip and possibly never happen. The funicular is an awesome bonus. -

That "bathroom break" was a great surprise. It also goes to show you how far out of their way Robb and Elissa go to make these tours awesome and get everyone on every ride they can. It also provided my favorite quote of the trip, Erik saying "A Vekoma is not a urinal!" Repeatedly. -
Hmm. I hadn't realized I had control where they dropped. Sorry to anyone if they dripped in weird places. It seems like they really lowered the gift bags you get compared to the gremlins at Halloween.

At least with purchase of the ponchos we got 6" square "towels" so we could dry off. -

I have been known to scream on some drops.
