^thanks. And of course i sew. Did you not know my real name is Jon Vila-Stewart, the illegitimate love child of Bob Vila and Martha Stewart. That sucks about the Castro. I had heard that they canceled it . Did no one have parties or was that against the law too?

Six Flags Magic Mountain Announces "X2"
Moose replied to Loco's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I doubt that this will make X smooth. After seeing how bad the vibrations on teh windwalker trains were, I think that cantilevering seats off the track on a high-speed coaster is just not stiff enough to prevent these vibrations. -
Is he graceful on other things? Looks like a good time. I still have never been camping.

^ I believe you are correct, at least for the US. I know I was very confused this past Sunday morning when half of my clocks changed automatically, including the one on my nightstand. "But the sun shouldn't be up this early???"

Mitch's Coaster Poll
Moose replied to ScubaSteve442's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow, i got a fair amount of new "to me" wood this year. With Boulder and Renegade (both first time rides this year) getting the top. The bottom was also completely changed thanks to Spain . -
What does your house look like for Halloween?
Moose replied to odie's topic in Random, Random, Random
Same story different city for us. But since we live on a nice street we get slammed with kids... well over a hundred. We did decorate the porch at around 5 and took it all down at 8:30. We had a few ghost a huge motion activated spider and pumpkinds galore on the outside. Inside the door we had a fog machine and a few strobe lights and a decrepid curtain thing. Matt was in full zombie makeup and sort of just apeared from the curtain. A few ids ran off the porch. Oh and i did an 8ft tall cut out of the headless horseman and his horse. No pictures, yet... muhahaha. -
My Favorite is "Limes with Orange" it's a juice not a soda, but it's really freaking good. I get it every time I go to Panera, not sure if it's available anywhere else since it has one of their "we're special" labels.

Ben Folds Five - Underground I have to say this song is probably the one I reminds me the most about High School. Not that i had a Mohawk or nose ring, but it was one of our favorites and we went to see BFF numerous times.

I have yet to connect my wii to the net because it is so far from the router. Is it really worth it?

There are very few restaurants around here where they only give you a fork if you ask for it and that is a damn shame.

I think they are super cute. If i had the extra cash lying around i'd probably pick one up, but since that isn't the case I will just point them out if they ever make it to the road around here. If and when i get a "new car" it'll probably be a pickup, so in theory, i could hall these around in the back if need be .

Where to get my winter fix?
Moose replied to milst1's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You do know NYC and MOA are not close to each other, right? Yes they are both in the "North" but they are not exactly next door to each other. THe trip there would require a flight and flying someplace warm would be cheaper and easier than flying to MN. -

A REALLY WEIRD "This is your brain on drugs." yout
Moose replied to Rocket Rodder's topic in Random, Random, Random
Are you saying the "This is your brian, this is your brain on drugs. Any questions?" is weird or just this version. Is 20 too young to remember these commercials? Is McGruff the crime dog still around? I remember making my own versions of this video with my sister over 15 years ago. You just had to extrapolate first its eggs getting fried, then its strawberries in the blender (we didn't have a food processor) and it only gets worse from there. -
SFNE removing five rides this winter.....
Moose replied to Canobie Fan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Uhh... You do know that before Tornado was put in.. Thats where the waterpark entrance was From 1998 to 2002 you got into Island Kingdom right where Tornado is.. and the area to the right. When it became HH they put in that new...big...out of place entrance. Of course i knew that. I just thought doing that was a dumb decision which made that end of the park all the more crowded with everyone making the trek to the waterpark with all their crap. -

I wonder if they are going to expand the water park into the area where Kontiki and the kiddie bumpers are.... that, or make a more logical entrance to it rather than having to walk all the way past Batman, the no longer dark knight. -
Cool and Fresh - Yes this is a coaster!

I wish we had a Trader Joes. Their frozen prepared meals are pretty damned good. I always think of it as a cheap whole foods. ^^Damn you and your Wegmans. I took it for granted during college and now i suffer weekly at Stop and Shop.
