I tink I'm in love with the giant drop. That rapids ride looks very well themed. -
^ I was so glad to see how long he lasted. He is far too full of himself. It's really not attractive nor is it fun to watch. Where the hell was Cirie during the whole vote maneuvering? I was shocked that Jeffy Probst didn't drool all over Ozzy more.

D'oh, it looks like I got it confused with a coaster at MIA. Smoother of the boomerangs does not equal smooth. It will be one of the prettier of the boomerangs, that's for sure. -
I have heard "a bargain at twice the price" and it even rhymes. I am guessing the person that is halving it to see if it's a good buy just heard it wrong, because that really makes no sense whatsoever.

I think I like wood better because it seems easier. Those overbanks are so high off the ground that they would take a ton of supports IRL. -

Wow, those are much better looking than I had anticipated. THey should look good roaring (shaking?) over Zak's zoomers. -

This place is why I wish I had stayed on for the mini-Europe part of the trip. Great segment of a great DVD. -

Exiting the park through a store? Damn, they outdid Disney in forcing people to shop. -
^There would not be that much of a difference weight (and therefore force) wise between the seismic concept (two trains on opposite sides of a track) and the wingwalker trains on Baco. The big difference would be torsion (twisting) if one side had a problem or was much slower than the other. As for my ideas... a launched flyer themed to Peter Pan or Supes, honestly, who climbs a hill before flying? or some innovation in waterrides, not that I've thought of any, but I would love to see this.

I thoughjt it could have been a paramedic from the waterpark that she just called a pediatrician by mistake. -
I play World of Warcraft. My main is 70 and undergeared. My Lock is 50. And my gnomes (mage and warrior) are 20 and 15. I wish all of them were gnomes they are so much fun to ®play. I play on Feathermoon for any other WOWers.

Romney won Mass. Ay dios mio He has been trashing the state since before he left his position as governor, yet the republican lemmings in the state* voted for him anyway. *shakes head* He would never win the vote against a dem in the state* for president, nor should he. *Commonwealth, Massachusetts is not actually a state.

To me, it does not seem like she is exaggerating for the purpose of a bigger law suit. Going through such events can be hugely traumatic and do things to the mind, making some parts very vivid, while others fade away. It is the minds way of protecting itself, that is probably why she does not actually remember much of the drop but remembers the events on the ground. I am guessing the whole "20 feet" is just a misperception. They were probably much higher but the events from the cable snap to the drop seemed like they took much longer than they actually did. I feel very badly for this girl. No one should have to go through what she did. -

I'm sort of surprised HHE is adding a chaos when most parks are removing theirs. Let's hope they maintain it so the whole carriage shearing off from the base doesn't happen to this one. I love these rides so I think it's good that a park is taking the risk. Looks good, as always. -

I agree ghost blasters was not the greatest attraction, but it was still a nice ride that families seemed to enjoy. I admit, my friend and I rode it 3 times but that's because we are both competitive. I am glad they didn't tear it down. -
How do you save money at a park?
Moose replied to palmerleeberry's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Some of my best memories of parks as a kid were my parents saving money. FOr example, at disney we would get up really early and eat something small and go to the park before it opened. Ride the rides etc and then leave around lunchtime when the crowds are at their worst. We'd go back to the hotel and make sandwiches and hang out by the pool, take a nap. In late afternoon we'd go back just as lots of people were leaving. If my friends allow now, I'll do something close now. Like lots have said, pack a cooler and leave the park for a bit. I like to make the "bit" a bit longer in order to relax and rest a bit. The cooler also provides nice snacks and all important hydration for the drive home. -

Was there any talk of trimming Dash? I had heard that they were going to be added in the turnaround area, but have not heard any official word.
