What is your local park?
brossa replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My main home park is Heidepark, approx. 40 minutes by car away. Except the smaller parks like Ersepark, Rastiland, Serengetipark, they are closer to me. -
2nd time not such a charm?
brossa replied to canada's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Black Mamba....I was so much surprised as I came into "Deep in Africa" the first time. The ride was even awesome and I couldn´t get enough from it. Well, I think I rode Black Mamba to often since it has open, this coaster becomes very quickly more and more uninteresting in my eyes. It´s a very monotonous ride....inversion, curve, inversion, curve.....without any surprising moments. -

Favorite type of B&M Coaster?
brossa replied to MummyAW's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I voted for Inverter, Katun and Nemesis are awsome, but it´s directly followed by sitting and flying. I didn´t rode a B&M Stand Up yet, but I can´t imagine that it´s much better than the Intamin Stand Up´s. -

Photo TR - West Midlands Safari Park 29th October 2006
brossa replied to Ork1927's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Thank you for this TR! I never heard anything about this park before! This Safaripark remembers me a bit on the Hollywood & Safaripark in Germany, they both have some same attractions, for example the Fabbri-freefall and the Black Fly (which is also from Fabbri and called in the german Sarfaripark-version "Black Fly" too). I think the rafting is also Fabbri, at german fairs travels the same kind of rafting. -

Only the lift till splashdown is coaster-like. After that the boat swims in a kind of river (like the most waterrides): -

Hello Mitchell, yes, you´re right, you can stand up in that cages! I also had never seen this before I´d visit the Luna Euro Park. It´s really awsome, there is no belt or something, you are just safed from the rods of the cage, and you have much airtime on the top, its insane! I rode this Swinning Ship a couple of times, it makes SO much fun! Tim Oooo YOu know my name Haha. Thanks for the answer, that sounds awsome! I need to ride that!!! Well, your name is declared in your profile. Tim -
what coaster did you severely underestimate
brossa replied to methos's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
-Grand National: I assumed it would be slower -Nemesis Inferno: I´d never expect such a intensive coaster! -Tonerre de Zeus: I didn´t know that this coaster has so much airtime. Tim -

This is the second part of the "Bella Italia Tour" with pictures from Mirabilandia and Movieland Studios. Mirabilandia Woow, I was really surprised how nice this park is! The weather was perfect and I finally could ride Katun the first time, it seemed to be a wonderful day as we arrived the park yet! Mirabilandia has very pretty areas with trees and small lakes which looked great with the blue sky (in Germany was the summer already over in september).....and always was Katun in the backround....what a glorious view well, here the first pictures: Katun.....as you know we have (except Katun) only smaller B&M-Inverter in europe, so it was my first Inverter with those dimensions. It is awsome if you´re on the top of the lifthill and watch down and in front of you is the spacious layout. Katun is without any doubt one of my favoritecoasters. One of europes wettest Rapid´s This Schwarzkopf-Katapult was not open this day A small but funny coaster. Autosplash...insane but not ordinary - a logflume with carwash-theming. Sierra Tonante, I like this woodie! Movieland Studios A small park with some good rides, especially Magma and U-571. Magma is a kind of Studiotour with trucks which can really accelerate the steep ways down. It makes a lot of fun, because it´s a very bumpy ride. Also has this attraction nice fire and watereffects where you maybe can get wet. U-571, the new attraction for 2006, is a submarine simulator without any movie, but much water! At the preshow you come into a huge room which represent an old harbour, where many waterbombs explode, so you get soaked! After it you go into a submarine, into the simulator. It seems pretty real, from everywhere, tubes or something comes water....it´s very wet, it´s insane but still the best simulator i´ve been ridden! I´m sorry but I haven´t taken photos of it! The Intamin-freefall tower hadn´t open yet, and the Poweredcoaster was also closed. Further pictures without comments: © by www.parkbilder.de

Well, Luna Euro Park is in Milan near the airport Linate. It is like Wiener Prater but much smaller. It has open the complete year, but in the winterseason only at the weekend. We drove approx. 2 hours from Garda to Milan after our visit in Gardaland, it was opened from 9pm-12pm on this day. The park has two Pinfaricoaster (Big Apple and a RC 40) a ferriswheel and some flatrides, so you have to decide yourself whether it´s worth to visit this park I had a lot of fun there! -
In september I was in Italy for a week and visited Gardaland, Luna Euro Park, Movieland Studios and Mirabilandia. I´ve taken some pictures wich I´ll post in two topics. The first both are Gardaland and Luna Euro Park. Gardaland: I was very suprised about Gardaland. This park has pretty good darkrides and nice theming, especially I Corsari is a great darkride! The entrance: Fuga da Atlantide: I really like this waterride, but you only get wet in the frontrow. Blue Tornado....hmmm....just a SLC with a helix *yeey* and again a small but intense Free Fall: Space Vertigo Flying Island Sequoia Adventure and Magic Mountain: Magic Mountain...a good old Vekoma-looper, but like many other coasters from Vekoma - very rough. Sequoia Adventure had suprised me a lot! I thought it would be very uncomfortable, but it isn´t. It´s funny! The Ortobruco Tour Valley of Kings. A great darkride with an awesome lasertunnel at the end. Fantasy Kingdom, a nice area for kids with a Madhouse below a huge treehouse. The Rapidride is also awesome themed and has a lavahole inside the vulcano. I Corsari, one of the best darkrides I´ve ever seen. It is a pirateride below a huge area of the park. 1. Doubtless Goudurix! On my both visits at Parc Asterix I felt my pulse in my head after it. 2. Ultimate (Lightwater Valley). I think everybody who has ridden this coaster knows what I mean . But it´s still a funny coaster!
