d34thstrik3 replied to RtherBOnACoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
Hot, been around 36ºC (96ºF) past few days and 36-38 (96º - 100ºF) forecasted for the next week with no sign of rain/storms Would gladly take some cold weather/snow at the moment! -

1. What are your initial thoughts? Good idea and I am intrigued as to what the initial membership goodies would be. 2. Can you think of anything else we could be offering? Not really, maybe an annual book/magazine showcasing events of the previous 12 months. 3. Is this something that interests you? It would be of interest if I was heading to the US or managed to find the funds to go on a TPR trip. If there was some events and perks offered with the parks on the Gold Coast it might entice me to purchase. 4. Why would you NOT be interested in this? Number of perks regarding park events and trips would be limited to me based on my location. I know I am not in the best place as far as the world is concerned park wise but I doubt I would get as much out of my $50 that someone in the US would. 5. Any additional feedback you can give us based on the information you see here. I see it as a great idea and a good way of sourcing additional funding to help with running the site. Depending on what is offered "internationally" would determine if I was happier with a membership or supporting through an option like paypal or the store.

Legit lightning, the only thing that has changed is resolution, border, title and copyright text. One of the first storms here in a while (supposed to be summer and had most of it winter weather) and somewhat unusual as it came through at 11:30am. Normally don't start getting storms here until around 2-3pm

Shane's Amusement Attic

Apparently it was unprofitable or at least that is what the company claimed (and blamed a number of things for downturn in guests). The park is now gone and is an industrial estate. -

Have you agree with you there. -
I have been running Vista since February when it was released and not had any problems with it. I am glad to have made the upgrade from Windows XP Pro and don't think I will be looking at using XP again on a computer I own.

Blu Ray v HD DVD Picture Quality
d34thstrik3 replied to verticalzero's topic in Random, Random, Random
HD DVD is region free, was weird seeing "PG-13" and FBI copyright warning at the start of a movie when I first watched King Kong on HD DVD. As for quality I cannot compare as I have only got the XBOX 360 HD DVD player. -
Demon at Wonderland Sydney (Boomerang) not that rough and enjoyed it a lot. Lethal Weapon at Warner Bros. Movie World Australia (SLC) Depends on the time of the year, last time was not too rough and I re-rode. Time before that it was painful and only ride it once. Road Runner at WBMW Aust. (Junior) and Rugrats Runaway Reptar at Dreamworld Australia (Suspended Family) were both very smooth. Completely bust the myth of all Vekomas being rough.

Mine is at http://www.myspace.com/d34thstrik3 Please message me saying you're from TPR when you friend request as I like to know where people found the link (plus it will speed up the approval as I don't like to approve "randoms")

Great shots! Cannot really give you any advice pointers as you seem to be doing everything I can think of right. Would like to see more shots, especially lightning. Do you have a deviantART or Flickr account?

Teach her what? She was in jail for like 5 days...she was supposed to serve like 45 or something. The only think she learned was that if she bitches and moans enough, she can get out of anything. Have to agree with that. I think she should be sent back to do the time. If it was you or me who was sent to jail for that we would still be there now and would be doing the full 45 days (possibly more). Yeah, but there must be more better role models/people to look up to than Paris Hilton.
