  1. Does anyone have updates about La Qua? A friend of mine has started planning a big trip to Japan for 2013 and I was looking for any information about Thunder Dolphin reopening or about the situation in general!
  2. Do you guys count alpine coasters as credits? I''ve never been on one but in a few weeks this might change so I don't know if I should count it or not.
  3. I'm really excited about this! I hope they open it soon next year! And also if they keep the level of theming of the rest of the park for Storm as well it's going to be really amazing.
  4. I agree with the idea that all the B&Ms must have single rider lines! With those kind of trains it's easy to have empty seats. Please start with Silver Star, it really needs one!
  5. Awesome! I'm leavning tomorrow night for Port Aventura! So excited!!!
  6. The closest I got to that was when I got a whole raw of Oblivion to myself.
  7. How insane is the line going to be next Saturday for the Noche Blanca (park open till 4 am)???! I think the Port Aventura Express Platinum will be MANDATORY!
  8. Update: - Thorpe Park - Parc Asterix - Europa Park - Europark Idroscalo - Mirabilandia
  9. I have a friend who's not a TPR memeber who would like to attend this event. Can he buy tickets himself or do I have to do it for him?
  10. I think it was 125 cm which is about 4 feet.
  11. A bit of review first: Diverticla is a good family coaster. If you are looking for something extremely thrilling or forceful, go ride Katun, iSpeed and don't complaint. The lift tower thing is impressive to see and really cool while onboard. As I said before it feels faster than it looks. The drop isn't quite the usual drop because you don't feel like falling but you just slowly accelerate to quite e good speed. Than there's the water element which delivers a strange out of control feeling because you expect some splash and instead you just float at full speed over it. The airtime hill which follows has no airtime but on a family friendly ride it can be accepted. The rest is just a series of slow turns leading into the final water splash which really delivers a good amount of water over the riders! Lets get back to the photos! Buffet!!! Free food = AWESOME! I've been told that Mirabilandia spent 20 million euros for this cake! This is me getting the "Photo with the Celebrity" credit! She is Federica Panicucci, one of the most succesfull TV stars in Italy! Before going back to Divertical I gor the other credit I still didn't have: Master Thai! I was actually impressed by the drop and the airtime hill! Better than expected! Also iSpeed was running great today! Back on Divertical! This is the view from the boat while travelling from the station to the lift. Soon you'll be way up there! Someone just got wet! Not sure if this a nerd shot or an artistic one! I just like it. Going up! Almost there! I leave you with this awesome onride shot from the top! I hope you enjoied reading this!
  12. Ok! I'm sorry guys for the lack of updates yesterday but here we are today with a full photo review of Divertical! First thing I have to say is that we all must keep in mind that this is a FAMILY WATER COASTER designed for a target made of familes with 8 - 10 years old kids. With this in mind I can start with the photos! Here we are! Welcome to Divertical! From the outside it looks very cool! I really like the colors! The tower is really impressive! Also you can see that right now most of the area is empty and the theming is very minimal! Testing! Divertical's SUPER SHOP looks very minimal too! Awesome restraints! Yes, it looks really good from here! Looks like they are finally starting the opening ceremony! If you are not familiar with Mirabilandia, these guys are from the Police Academy stunt show! Do I really have to comment this photo?! He's one of the winners of the TV show Italia's Got Talent! Time for the official opening!!! Here's the very first boat of the day and it just got stuck on the lift tower thing! Great. "Intamin, we've got a problem!" More testing! Splash! Yes, you get soaked in there. No kidding! Finally we get a chance to ride it! The lift tower thing feels a lot faster when you are on it! Also the view all around is amazing! The drop is really strange because you slowly accelerate to a pretty decent speed which feels great. After quickly skimming the water there's this hill which has absolutely no airtime at all. The actual coaster part is just slow and forceless but we have to keep in mind the target! The positive side is that at least it's smooth! Another view! This boat is dedicated to the deceased Motogp racer Marco Simoncelli! He was the one who officially opened iSpeed in 2009. I really miss him. AIRTIME!!! This is the end of the first part! I'll soon post more AWESOME photos! Please fost your comments and questions!
  13. This is a test to see if I can post with my mobile and how long it takes! Test!
  14. I still haven't got a chance to visit Miragica. It looks really nice! Too bad you found the Intamin not operating. Also Ikarus looks good in its new home!
  15. I've been only on Saw and I think it's overall a great ride but a bit too rough. I'd love to ride more of them!
  16. On May 26th and 27th I'll be at Europa Park!
  17. OzIris at Parc Asterix has the best one I've seen so far.
  18. Ok, I have to update my list: 1) OzIris 2) Katun 3) Raptor / Monster 4) Nemesis 5) Batman the Ride
  19. On Saturday the park was packed! Rode Oziris only 3 times also due to the fact that the single rider queue was closed! Yet I say it's the best inverted I've been on so far. So much forces and surprizes! I wish I knew french to understand all the jokes in the queue line! Goudurix is awful. They really should do something about it.
  20. It looks great! I'm really excited about this project and I can't wait to see more!
  21. There's a video of one of the first tests. I think it's from the same user who brought most of the past updates on Theparks.it. It doesn't look too promising but it was a test at low speed so there's still hope for some fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4v6Vegk8Ud8
