^ Sometimes I wish. My dad is just extremely conservative, like he has said he was going to kick me out if I piss him off too much. I recently got grounded for saying damnit. Awesome, thanks so much Elissa. My parents said I could go to one, and in years past SFMM looks awesome for WCB. Assuming we get the same perks in the park as last year(if not no big deal) and considerin I still need my terminator credit SFMM seems like my park of choice. It also helps that 2 coasters in the park are in my top 5. The Agnostic but in trouble for not going to church Ghost

Holy crap, an etire page of respons? That question was for Metrock. Anyway, I know Robb said more details will be released soon, but it would be extremely helpful to figure out if I could just go to one day. My parents wont let me go to both so SFMM is the option for me right now(saturday night makes this much better imo because I will now be able to stay for full ert) so it would be very helpful to know this information asap. I know its like three months away, but just saying it would be extremely helpful and appreciated information. However, this event sounds awesome and if possible I will go to both days, but my parents are pretty strict on me spending money and drivng and wasting gas money. Sorry for bringing ths back up though, if there is a single day option I am really looking forward to meting everyone! The Stupid Strict Parents Ghost

Not vekoma, I checked RCDB, the company itself has been around for a while but Vekoma did not build anything until the 80s. Is there any possibility its some kind of hacked scharzkopf? My money is on arrow right now, though. -
When you say "I've seen a show on Broadway" have you actually seen a show on Broadway, or just a cheaper Los Angeles version of a Broadway show? I have never seen a show in a theme park that is anything near one of the top Broadway or West End shows. I've seen shows like Les Mis, Miss Saigon, Phantom, Beauty & The Beast, Sunset Blvd, etc in both Los Angeles and actually on Broadway, and I can tell you that while it's for the most part the same show, it's not the same experience. --Robb I saw the Lion King and(I think beauty and the beast) at the Pantages. They are not as impressive as broadway, but Aladin still has people flying in Magic Carpets over your head. The show has a huge cobra thing that is made of like clot that rises like 15 feet. There is a pretty convincing full sized elephant and various street perforers in the front row. And, there are special effects like the genies tricks, set design changes. and bungie stunts. The theater is also beauiful and has 3 tiers. Off subject of plays I was at Disneyland on Friday and they were testing water screens. It looked pretty cool as the water fans are very flexible, and the water level on screamin is getting pretty high, so it made for the ride being pretty awesome just due to the water.

Knowing you and realstically its a corkscrew. However, the only thing that is making me curious about it being a corkscrew is (double tornado or something like that) is a pre made corskscre in your custom tracks. I am wondering if you used the pre created coaster, built a clone of t pre created version, or added variants to the layout. However, if you added a variant it is not as realistic, but if you made it or built it its not nearly as much fun to make as a custom design. I'm thinking corkscrew. -

Arrow or Vekoma, looks cool! -
^ Damn, that was really mature considering your twelve. I am supportive of (most everything) as long as it makes people happy.

TR: Disneyland Resort 12-1-09

Not to say your opinion is wrong or anything, but why did you think the character additions ruined the ride? The characters they used generaly fit in with the rest of the small world characters, and some fit in extremely well like Mulan and Mushu in China. I was expecting the worst when I rode just after opening, and I was impressed. Also, after the launch on screamin in the front car you get shot out of your seat, and in the back car after the loop MCBR you get shot out of your seat going down the drops. Good TR though, and good to know it was not too crowded. I am going tomorrow because I am an AP holder and want to see Christmas stuf before my pass blacks out, so I am expecting pretty solid crowds, but Fridays are awesome because they have local rock or ska bands play tomorrowland Terrace. Also I will be seeing Murphy for the first time tomorrow. -

Ride Warrior Nation

^According to ridewarriornation.com your not a very good ride warrior Adam Woltermann And theres the classic fanboy of Intamin(YAY INTAMIN) with this plan for Son of Beast. GoodYellowKorn182 His intentions are good, but I dont think he realizes that plug n plays are prefabbed, so this idea would not work without coming down. He also has a good mindset for working for Cedar Fair as the proposed name for the new ride is Son of Beast: The Revenge. -

Oh my god! Those forums are terrible. Here is an actual quote, please note that the grammar in the post is not my own as I am not this gramatically challenged. People...People!! everyone hear in so. cal hear me out if any one of you people agree that Knotts berry Farm is one of Americas Best theme parks.......with te best coasters........then thats were us ride warriors take the throne........if any one agrees or dissagrees with this post tell me why?? Christopher Lomeli at ridewarriornation.com This is just terrible, and to top it off peole who are considering themselves "ride warriors" are challenging each other. What the #### are they challenging each other to? riding rides? It is just terrible. Also, why does it matter if you can ride more. Also, if I were a ride warrior I would not buy twilight and Linkin Park clothing from the ride warriors store, that would not make me a ride warrior, just a fan of pop culture. The not a ride warrior Ghost -

World Joyland in China
the ghost replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ True, but whenever someone has a new ride concept it is unique. The dive machine is not nearly as unique as a eurofighter or el oco in variety though, and they are all essentially the same idea with different degrees of steepness. Also, so far dive machines have only had immelmans and no zero g rolls or even a loop for variety. B&M is and will always be a great company, but its good to see them being more original. -

If you look at the concept layout you can clearly make out a loop. It may not be confirmed, but it is looking more and more likely. -

World Joyland in China
the ghost replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Agreed, but they are a different company then they used to be. There rides are not as innovative as gerstalurs, intamins, or even macks and S&S's. And, although they are bigger than most of those companies(excluding intamin) they have not pushed the envelope in quite a while. This could also be good because a loop will mean a lie down section, which has not been on a flyer(excluding pretzel loops) since AIR. -
World Joyland in China
the ghost replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was on RCDB(I'm such a nerd) and apparently a park in China called World Joyland is getting a flyer. I clicked the link, assuming it would be similar to all the others. According to the link the coaster will have a loop(not a pretzel loop) an in lne twist(common on all B&M flyers) and a double corkscrew. Now, Manta does technically have a corkscrew, but not two in a row, and manta does not have a vertical loop. Are B&M trying to challenge the vekoma stingray in terms of uniqueness? One thing is for sure though, this custom flyer sounds like the most unique B&M coaster for quite a while. rcdb.com/8983.htm -
Going On Any Awesome Trips Next Year?
the ghost replied to Speeddeamon128's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For graduation this year I am thinking of doing Hershey and Knoebels(and ill try to talk my dad into Kennywood). It's kind of funny because even though my dads trying to be nice t meby taking me to parks he kind of screwm over cause I was going to ak if can go on a TPR trip next summer. Oh well,I'm obviously not mean enough to say I'd rather hang out from people on the internet then spend tie with him, so the TPR trip can wait a while. I am also planning on hitting all the major so cal parks ecxcept maybe knotts, because I generally go to scary farm, but I think its time to give HHN a try, of course I may hit both. Also, WCB is finally on my list of things to do this year, and in a way thats almost like a mini TPR trip even if it is just one day, so I am hoping to finally meet some TPR people in person, and ride Terminator for the first time. -
GCII Never-Before-Seen Video
the ghost replied to CoasterCard's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
6 of 1,000 fans I am fan 1000! Yay me! This may not mean anything, but so far all of GCI's videos are fimed by Robb, meaning we can possibly find it on TPR. Not saying for sure it will be Robbs, but it seems kind of likely. -
Thanks again guys. The DVD was awesome, and an awesome pre christmas present. Although, I havent listened to that much pop musc in years and this dvd made me remember why. I was in class today and randomly started humming to sk8r boi(spelling of the song) by Avril Laveign. Wow, it was weird. The Dave Listens to Awesome Music Ghost
