Augh... these kind of parks kill me in a way because I love it to a degree, but it doesn't work in my opinion. Here's the thing, the concept is spot on and I like what you are doing... it's a VERY nice effort and you have a lot of potential. That being said it just does not capture the park for some reason... not really your fault at all, you just need custom scenery and stuff in my opinion. Do not take this as an insult at all, because you have a ton of skill, it just isn't possible to make a Disney park NCSO in my opinion... they are just far too detailed to pull off.

So a while ago I had a "pet project" named Lynx that I thought was lost forever, but looking through my pms I found it... I still love the layout, but everything else is changed so I figured it was a "new" project. Enjoy and comment/critique cause I will be submitting this to New Element for a design... doesn't matter if I win necessarily I just want to see how the panel likes it. SCR25.BMP Here's the King of the Forest... the beautiful and majestic Lynx, a CCI coaster with an out and back layout roaring through the woods! SCR26.BMP Yum! Love this turn around! SCR22.BMP Riverview Square is still a WIP even though I like if for the most part. SCR23.BMP Lakeside Motorcars... coming soon.

Chadster's Vacation Adventures: Final Edition!

Looks way better than things I had heard... nice to hear. I used to give CF a lot of crap, but now they are kinda growing on me... in fact(not in terms of coaster per se) I prefer Knott's to SFMM and it's for very similar reasons that you liked Michigan's Adventures! -

Hey guys. I am doing a music based park, but only based on stuff I like, which is mostly ska and punk. I still am designing a vast majority of the park, but so far it is going well. Proposed areas: Rudeboy Beach Skin City: An area dedicated to Cities... bands here include The Bostones, The Toasters, Big D and The Kids Table... etc. Mostly bands from Boston and and New York Anarchy Acres: Bands here include Rancid, Operation Ivy, Streetlight Manifesto... etc. More punk influenced bands with a ska side. 2Tone Town: It will be "based" on England... ish. I have never been there and I dont know what NCSO pieces to use. I know I will have a wildmouse coaster called ratrace and a darkride called Nightboat to Cairo... more on the way though. Kingston Gardens: An area based on ska legends like the skatalites, Desmond Decker... etc. SCR16.BMP Rudeboy Gardens: Coming Soon SCR17.BMP Rudeboy Beach: An area devoted mostly to the third wave boom in the 90s. -

15/30... I apparently suck at Schwarzkopf. Figures consider I have only been on one... loved it though, need to get on more. -

^ No complaints there! Looks very nice! Especially love the station interaction... cool idea! SCR15.BMP Islands of Adventure Hollywood. An entirely NCS theme park, coming soon! -
I went to the awesome Disneyland Passholder Christmas Event in late November and it was literally the most awesome thing ever. They had exclusive food, everything was open(which made most of it a walkon) and I got a few "solo rides" most notable being Mr. Toad(my favorite fantasyland dark ride) cause I was literally the only one in an hour. I also got on BTMR once with just my group, but there were technically 8 of us.

Despite not being much of a hipster I do like quite a few indie films, so I went to the local indie theater with some friends and saw Moonrise Kingdom. It was great... very funny! Not necessarily laugh out loud humor, but subtle humor that had you chuckling throughout. I felt it was a very original take on a "love story" and it told a great story, but like most Anderson films there was a little something extra there... it made you think, but it was fun as well. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend it... it was whimsical, charming, and incredibly well acted... not to mention an amazing cast. Probably so far my pick for "best picture" in an Oscar sense, even though Avengers and Cabin in the Woods were more "fun" but that was to be expected. I highly recommend this if you feel like a charming film that isn't jam packed with an over the top budget.

In my honest opinion the new trains are WAY more painful. I am not huge, but not short (5'11ish) and my legs pretty much locked... there was very little room. Not everyone in my group shared my opinion that it made the ride worse, but no one thought the trains improved the ride. A little disappointed... need to give it a few more rides, but the new trains may take it off my favorite coaster list... it was never a top 10 but it held a special place in my heart and was my favorite coaster at Disneyland... need to reevaluate that.

In my opinion you hit the nail absolutely on the head. Also(to go back to an earlier argument made) Harry Potter is(despite what people may think) a series made for young adults and is a beloved franchise... similar to Cars. Admittedly HP is bigger than Cars, but Cars is a beloved franchise that does adhere to children, but it is a success in most demographics. My Dad is 50 and Cars is his favorite Pixar movie... and he knows the franchise, it's not like it's an obscure TV or something, it is a major motion picture. Also keep in mind Disneyland and DCA(since there one in the same) has more passholders than any other theme park... my friend renewed with the price increase to go to Carsland and, despite what you have been saying, I have heard many good reviews from non fanboys who are close to me in age. Disney's not for everyone admittedly, I am far more of a theme park enthusiast than an amusement park enthusiast... I live within driving distance of Knott's and SFMM and I visit each once a year while I visit Disney over fifty times a year. I will pay "top dollar" for a park willing to invest in an attraction like Carsland because I can enjoy it with my friends, but I also went to Disneyland with my friend and her 5 year old niece and we all had an awesome time despite large age differences because of the "magic." Not everyone gets the "magic" aspect, but with a ride as well themed as something like Thunder Mountain I still notice new details and can appreciate it despite riding it easily 100 times in my life while my friend who went to Disneyland for the fifth time in his life this year loved the ride! Carsland is the same way in my opinion... people will be willing to spend money to experience it, despite their ages. Now... in six(ish) hours I will be riding RSR for the first time and I will post a full review tomorrow!

I will be riding tomorrow and will post a review. I am somewhat of a fanboy, though but I will try to be as fair as possible even though literally everything I have seen has blown me away. Finally DCA won't have construction walls! I am really happy though... DCA is one of my least favorite Disney parks(but MK will always my least favorite American park) and it finally looks like with this step it may become one of my favorite Disney parks!

As many of you know I have somewhat of an obsession with Disney parks, so I decided to try something similar... create lands and specific things around them. I know it has been done before... just not something I have really tried. The park is quite small(100x100) so I am trying things like the Lost Mines, which will be a "full sized" coaster in a small area using the land and the underground of the park to my advantage. SCR10.BMP The Lost Mines: A "dark" coaster featuring indoor and outdoor elements. This is still a VERY VERY WIP! SCR11.BMP The entrance is beautiful though... and complete! -

The essential point of the park I am working on is to use "inspirations" and sort of combine them. I love the whimsical feel of Folf's parks, but also the realistic feel of Funkeymon's parks so I am trying to create something whimsical and plausible... I guess sort of in a Disney fashion. I like color, detail, and other things in my rides/ theming/ and buildings so expect to see a lot of that in the coming weeks! Hope you enjoy! SCR1.BMP Entry plaza SCR2.BMP Unfinished building -

I feel REALLY bad! My dad "surprised" the family with a new computer today so my files are gone. The good news is I now have the disk so I'll get back to playing soon... it just kinda sucks at the moment. Sorry to everyone and thanks for those who have been following the thread. Mods, you can lock this, delete it, or just let it fall down the forum.

This thing has creeped up out of nowhere as one of the coolest looking little coasters in the state. Looks VERY fun in pretty much every way. I feel like this looks more intense than screamin which ranks well on my list due to its fun and reridability and this looks like it will take a run for screamins spot on my list.

UPDATE! Also if you haven't please read the new info in my first post about the park! SCR15.BMP New additions to joust!
