Do Your Friends Know of Your Coasterness?
the ghost replied to AJClarke0912's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ Yeah...that happened to me at knotts. We were outside the park and about to enter for silver bullets opening season. Me:Look at the cobra roll Friends...blank looks on their faces Me: Ummm.... half loop half corkscrew half corkscrew half loop Them:Ok... I love to piss off my friends(sometimes) when were on a coaster and I will make my nerdiness known by yelling things like "AIRTIME" or yelling what element were going through while laughing my head off...which occurs naturally on any coaster for me. My friends get it though...what not to like about an amusement park. One of my friends asked me whats so great about amusement parks and I said its an entire place where people literally create things to make you happy... thats the purpose of an amusement park. Most people do know about my nerdiness though, but my nerdiness becomes more nerdy on the rare occasion(except with my fellow disney nerd ap friends) then my nerdiness shoots up to super high levels. It seems weird coaster enthusiasts are looked down on. The average person loves roller coasters and theme parks, we just like them more. Essentially our hobby is having the most fun possible in the most fun way we know how, so its always been strange that it is sometimes looked down upon. The next friday last disney/coaster run of 2010 Ghost -
Black Swan 9/10 This movie is very hard to describe. I absolutely love Darren Aronofsky and this film was no exception. He once again bends the frame of realty, never really revealing what is real or fake, but keeping us intrigued the entire time. This film is also not necessarily about ballet, but the hell ballerinas must endure, which appeared to be VERY painful. The movie is also relatively disturbing, you never know whats really going on so there is some definite gore and horror elements that are thrown in very well. There is also a sex scene between Portman and Kunis which is not only AWESOME(hey...I'm a teenaged guy) but also plays very well into the story. This is also the time the lady in front of me covered the eyes of her nine year old...its an r rated movie from the guy who made Requiem for gods sake...not a good place for young kids. All in all a very awesome indie film that very well blends art house style cinema.(there are a few twirls and tricks of the camera that imitates a balerina that was very cool as it spun and jumped ) It also blended some very good horror elements that were enough to keep you intrigued, but didn't take away from the beauty of the film. Is this a great film? Yes. Is this a film for everyone? No, it is very confusing and trippy, but worth the ride. Also, just because its about dancing does not mean it is not intense. There are a few VERY disturbing sequences that are pretty hard to watch, and there are a few things that happen that will disturb you. Just remember, don't look away from this film just because it deals with ballet. Ballet s just the vehicle, but the ride itself is not about ballet and is awesome for the guys and gals. Also, I would not suggest this as a date movie, because that scene with Natale Portman and Mla Kunis...together.... OMG! Anyway, go see this ASAP. Portman deserves an oscar for her role and there are several awesome supporting rolls. GREAT FILM!

Am I the only one that loves this? I dont enjoy pepsi... but I would be the biggest liar in the world if I didn't express my overwhelming LOVE of Mountain Dew. I just find coke in all the Disney, all the Universal, and (if I remember correctly) all the Seaworld Entertainment Parks... just happy to finally see some variety. The Mountain Dew is Godly Ghost -
^ I agree mostly with Elissa's thoughts. The best for an average family(kids varying in age) is Royal Caribbean. The best for a family with younger kids is Disney. I imagine Carnival is the best for the younger crowd, but I went on a Carnival ship when I was very young, and it was not nearly as awesome as either Adventure Ocean or the Disney Kids thing. Surprisingly, however, I really enjoyed the Princess cruise. I was still in the kids club thing technically, but I was 16, so basically everyone over 14 just went there for the video games and stuff, but besides that we roamed the ship. It might have just been I was with a great group of people(some of the other Californians from the cruise I still talk to) but I had a great time. Also the Princess Cruise I went on(the diamond princess) had a few different dining rooms that I believe were called the Santa Fe as well as the Vivaldi and a main main dining room. Overall I love cruising, but thats my take, but my views may be different from many cruisers considering Ive only been on one cruise where I was not in the kids club.

^ Remember to post your playlist when you make one. The entire point of this is a "music exchange" if you will and it will allow everyone to post their favorites for the community!

^It's very good but its not really a movie you can watch with people...because I am assuming the average person would be quite offended. I have a pretty high tolerance for f'ed up stuff which many people cannot handle. -

No real promise I will finish... but taboo is about 90% done in terms of trackwork! -
There is a rather large (completely legal and free) music streaming site called grooveshark.com. One of the coolest features about Grooveshark is you can create a playlist and share it with people.(I dont know if you need to sign up to make playlist, but its username, password, email) I thought it would be cool if people would post some playlists with their favorites. That way we can hear everyones favorite songs and things like that. Just post the genre and link and theres your playlist. Genre:3rd wave ska listen.grooveshark.com/#/playlist/Skankin_Sexy/40498810 I hope this is allowed. There was nothing I saw in the tos that forbids this kind of thing and if this is frowned upon I greatly apologize.

Does anyone else think Worm Tail(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_Spall) would be the perfect penguin? He's got the creepy factor and he can act rather well, and hes used to playing a pretty creepy dude. This would seem like the roll he was born for!

Happiness. Essentially a non gory movie(there are some scenes) but the sexual content is pretty damn extreme. Even more messed up is it is very funny, but because its funny it's disturbing. This goes on tons of lists and always surprises people because its not gory and has some celebrities including Phillip Seymour Hoffman, but the film also has pedophilia(not shown) and rape(semi shown) but as said it is funny. Lets just say that there is one scene where a man explains to his eleven year old son why he is a pedophile...very cringe inducing. If your wondering how I find these films this one is a simple explanation... I REALLY like dark comedy and this one is a good one. I believe it has an 87% on rotten tomatoes and it is a great indie film, but as mentioned VERY disturbing. -
I'm getting Epic Mickey and Donkey Kong for Christmas. Come on... everyone buy epic Mickey... I desperately wanna see Oswald make a huge comeback!

Meh... the charms already gone and it aint coming back. Might as well build something massive and awesome so in compensation for the removal of Knotts' former glory we can at least have an awesome coaster. I hope all the rumors are true because pony express is ****! In fact my favorite ride Knotts has added since Accelerator is Sierra Sidewinder(its so fun ) then silver bullet, so needless to say Knotts often disappoints me in the thrill department.

I was thinking Japan as well, that mountain certaintly looks like JTTCOTE, but at the same time I doubt you would make it that easy considering Hello Kitty is very much Japanese and everyone knows that. As of now my answer is still Japan, but that is likely to change when more clues pop up! -
I celebrate Christmas... not Christ-mas. For me it is a season of celebration... nothing more nothing less. Of course one could call me a hypocrite since I am agnostic but go to church every Sunday, but that is because I am forced to go to church with my parents, their reasoning is if I am living there I need to go to church. I listen as I find what is said interesting despite not believing in most of it.

^ I dont know, it depends. I am not a gamer and I listen to pretty much all music, but I tend to prefer Slipknot, System, Machine Head and Lamb of God over most pop... but the shows relatively funny and pretty interesting. I am not a major fan or anything, like I would never go to a convention, and I barely ever talk about the show(Im actually embarrassed that I watch it) but its not bad. Oh yes... Soul sister is the worst piece of pop infested filth to ever be written... everyone involved in the song should face cruel and unusual punishment for raping my ear with its terribleness. That is literally how much I hate that song... it is my least favorite...EVER!
