  1. I'm actually relatively excited for this. Sure, its a cash grab... but at least it's seemingly a cash grab done to Disney standards, and its good to see them starting to use that area more. I know they used it for family fun weekends, but I missed those and havent been back there since the festival of fools, which was there to promote the Hunchback of Notre Dam... and that was a damn long time ago. I will likely be checking this out on one of my frequent visits to Disney.
  2. I knew giving my social security and credit card numbers to this guy via email was a good idea! ^ LOL... I see what you did there. I am so tempted to post this on savethebigdipper.org, but that would be in terrible taste, but I so want to. Oh well, best not to, but if Kat or Harold are reading this you can still ride your beloved...oh wait, neither of you have ever ridden it.
  3. Bump as I redid my top 10 since WCB: 1. Riddler's Revenge:SFMM 1. Apollo's Chariot: BGW (I cant choose which I like better, lol) 3. Xcelerator: Knott's Berry Farm 4. Apocalypse: SFMM This thing was running insane in the rain at Bash!!!!! 5. REvenge of the Mummy: USF 6. BTR:SFMM 7. Goliath: SFMM 8. Montezuma's Revenge:Knotts (damn... a lot of m favorite rides have revenge in the title) 9. Tatsu:SFMM 10. X2:SFMM This was lower on my list, but it was running crazy well at Bash. If it's running that well next year it may leap up higher. Other Favorites/Honorable Mentions Ghostrider opening year is still my favorite all time ride... the memories I have are awesome despite hating what its become. I love Sierra Sidewinder but it's not quite "thrilling" enough to be in my top 10, but I absolutely adore the hell out of it. I also really enjoy all the Disney coasters except gadget, which isnt bad for what it is. Also Fire Dragon would have made it if Ice was working, but as it was not on my visit(only been there once) I found it just okay. Also Alpengeist is cool, but probably my #12 or #13 or something like that.
  4. ^^ Ghostrider in the back= bad idea. Oh well... we'll know that for next year, lol. I may right a REALLY long tr later, but I may not as I have no pics and I have so much to say. Once again, thanks to the Alvey Family, Knotts and Six Flags management, tour guides, ride ops... pretty much anyone that had anything to do with the previous weekend. Awesome meeting everyone and hanging out with everyone. Cant wait for next year!!!
  5. You're building style throws me off more than anyone else's, and thats not a bad thing, but more of a creative thing, I guess. Like I adore the blue building, but the GIANT spire seems a bit over the top. And I love the red building, but the side things seem kind of strange. That being said... I love the concept, love the entrance, and love most of your building in general besides the things I mentioned. I am very excited to see where this goes.
  6. I play RCT2 Vanilla, if vanilla includes custom scenery, which I do have quite a bit of. I do have the full(expansions) version of RCT3, but I rarely play it as I dont like the look of the game as much as I like RCT2.
  7. Although I am assuming the rider was at fault this kinda scares me. The Hi Miler has been at my local fair for as long as I can remember, and I have ridden it a good number of times. This is a very unfortunate accident, and I wonder whether this will effect the Hi Miler at fairs in the future? This is a pretty major attraction at RCS fairs as it is one of 2 "Adult" coasters besides the wild mouse, and it often has long lines... so if this leaves they will likely need to invest in a newer coaster.
  8. Awww... worst picture of me ever... lol. I'm right next to SoCalCoasters, but I'm looking down trying to get my shoelaces off my shoe, so I look weird as hell cause the pic makes it seem as if I am just staring at the ground. Oh well... at least I'm in the picture,lol... despite the fact that I'm wearing a BRIGHT YELLOW jacket, causing me to look kinda like a duck.
  9. Sierra Sidewinder earlier this afternoon.
  10. I want to thank everyone for such an awesome weekend! I wont go into much as pretty much everythings already been said, but the last 2 days were awesome... so happy I decided to make it a weekend this year instead of a day. Also, I want to give a shout out to Knott's management... they could have turned us away due to rain, but they opened what they could, and I got a few fun last rides on sidewinder before leaving. Also, Ghostrider was running fine in the front, but the back was not kind to me or Socal Coasters this morning. Also, I don't want to call anyone a liar, but I will give my honest to god word that Ghostrider was MUCH smoother in the early years than it is now... no matter what graphs say. Once again, thanks for everyone. I had an awesome day, So Cal... we should do that again sometime. As for all the random people... you guys were awesome as well... from the train car to going on a Catawumpus hunt you guys were awesome. Last thing I forgot to add... did anyone notice a roughish transition exiting the cobra roll on bullet? It wasn't terrible or anything... just havent ever noticed it before. Also, I only remember feeling the transition in the back row. The Cant wait for WCB 2012 Ghost
  11. No way in hell can my computer run this... hopefully I'll be "upgraded" by the time this comes out.
  12. ^ Ha... kids and their horribleness at strategy... the first car with the parents hauled ass. This was a pretty cool TR. I have never been here and probably wouldn't really go here on my own as I totally do not fit the demographic, but the park itself looks very nice. That last ride thing is awesome though... its so simple, yet I've never seen a competitive ride quite like it.
  13. I dont know if it's my computer, but it kept freezing during Brandy's acting... that being said, my computer is known to royally suck. Besides that what I saw was AWESOME! The professionalism was top notch... it felt like a real show, and the interactivity is also an awesome feature that I think more people will participate in after the "pilot." This is a great start of great things to come, Big Man!
  14. Very nice! I have a cabin about 3 to 4 hundred feet from snow summit, so I go there and bear all the time. Also, I, as a snowboarder, prefer bear mountain. I am not even a trick sort of person as I don't have the guts to fling myself at high speeds into the air, but I love the little jumps and fun boxes and stuff like that. I feel like in general snow summit is just more crowded on the good runs due to the large amount of skiers, and the only place to ride that is somewhat quiet are the harder runs like The Wall and Olympic, which I can do when they are mogul free, but moguls are very hard on a snowboard. However, at Bear I feel as the good ski runs such as Exhibition and Geronimo are almost always dead, and are the best runs at either resort. Also, bear is somewhat my nemesis as The Wedge(or maybe its the gultch?) is the only run I have not tried as its very moguley and very steep, and it drives me crazy, cause I want to try it, but I heard its crazy hard.
  15. I cant wait for Saturday/Sunday. See Y'all this weekend for the best weekend of thee entire year! Woot! CANT WAIT!
  16. I feel really stupid for asking this but... how do you download the scenario, lol? I download it and I just get a landscape with none of the coasters or anything like that? What am I doing wrong? I dont download many scenarios and stuff, so I am not really sure what to do. The I Fail Ghost
  17. ^^^ I was at Disneylamd this evening and DAMN!!! Since its spring break we have the normal so cal Disney pass holders, but its also spring break... there are a lot of REALLY fat people out there. I mean, I am not a small guy, I'm certaintly not morbidly obese or anything, and no one would looks at me as being a fat person, but it just seems like people on the scooters want to be seen as fat. I mean, have you ever really looked at a scotter and thought "wow... thats a good looking person?" No. You think "Damn... someone needs to go to the jym!" Anyway, I feel the same way, I realize weight is a personal decision, but if you do not have a valid medical reason why you cannot wait in line safely then wait. If you dont want to wait go in the single riders line or something like that, but dont just go in front of me fror something you can control. The Only in America Ghost
  18. ^ Thats said to be the worst of the 3.
  19. ^ Really? Wow... thats pretty stupid, lol. I'm good for the moment... it's spring break and I' rant free... but I am a little tired... so yeah.
  20. Now I'm totally paranoid cause I didn't get a "confirmation" email from Robb... I do have a paypal receipt. Umm... what do I do? I am on the list, right?
  21. Hmmmm... Knott's+ Showers+ERT... with their rain policy this could be interesting. I am a bit nervous for that. However, if its raining it may make ghost rider awesome as I hear woodies run best in the rain.
  22. Dude. Holy fudge. I feel unclean just reading a synopsis on those things. That thing is absolutely disgusting and would probably make me puke my intestines out if I watched it... and I've watched 2 girls 1 cup without problem. (Though that's not to say it isn't extremely gross either.) F**k it. I lied before. I'm daring myself to watch August Underground... cause I'll feel hardcore. I'll review as soon as I see it!
