For a restaurant this looks awesome. Also, based on personal experiences, with Mexican food you need to go with either fast food or REALLY NICE FOOD... There can be no in between.

Nice Nice Nice. Love that shirt by the way, I keep meaning to buy the same one at Disneyland, but I forget. Plus, this is very fitting as I just saw the "musical" episode where they build the roller coaster! This looks great! -
Yumm... I sort of forgot about Boma. Zebra Domes Rule!

I never really got the "fear" of coasters and have ridden for as long as I can remember. I remember once when I was 5 or 6 and I PISSED OFF my parents cause I rode Jaguar 5 or 6 times. They wanted to do other things, and my 3 year old sisters weren't tall enough to go on, but I was selfish at 5...like most 5 year olds. My parents waited at the exit(yes, they walked me to the entrance first) and waited, but somehow they didnt see me, and I kept riding. Then stupidly saw them after I had ridden however many times and essentially bragged about it, yes, it was a walk on, and I got in trouble and didnt get to ride any more. Then Ghostrider opened up, and the rest was history. Holy hell, at the time that thing was AMAZING!

Best Ride at WDW

Fixed. -
I like all the actors and am a Disney nerd... but... OH HELL NO! I have heard rumors for a long time about this and have dreaded it the whole time. Pirates was a pretty good franchise, Haunted Mansion is being remade cause the first one sucked, and Jungle Cruise should NEVER BE MADE! EVER! Also, I am going to be CRAZY pissed if they change the awesome campy/ cheesy/ classic jokes.

*** THE BEBES *** Rainbow Magicland ITALY TR
the ghost replied to The Bebes's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Awesome TR! The parks look a lot of fun. As for Disturbed, The Sickness and Believe were pretty awesome, Ten Thousand fists started to send them downhill. Then inside the fire or whatever its called came out and it was just okay, but perfect Insanity is AWESOME! Asylum... I am not a fan... The lead singer of Disturbed is meh, but Corey Taylor is GOD!!!!!!!!!! -
Best Ride at WDW
the ghost replied to coastermaniac's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No, they are probably just turned off by the inflated egos and better than thou attitudes of Californians that surround them while riding the DL version creating a bad ride experience. Hahaha... all right, point taken. Pirates jut surprised me is all. I feel like most of WDW's rides either favored equally or better than the DL versions, sure, I had a few pros and cons about preferences, like I prefer Thunder at DL, but there not really a reason, but pirates was one of the few rides where there was NO QUESTION which I liked better. Also I generally think of Pirates, Jungle Cruise, and HM as the "big 3" in terms of Disney dark rides that pretty much all Disney parks share. I liked both HM and Jungle Cruise more than the Disneyland versions, so it seemed weird that pirates seemed to "lack" when the others were superior is all I am saying. Actually, Pirates was HILARIOUS, cause the drop scared the hell pit of me sort of because of where it was... was not expecting it there and was trying to absorb the scenery around me since it was new to me. -

The WDW Disney College Program
the ghost replied to jackskellington101's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Yeah... its not too strict. I was not in the college program, but I was a CM over the summer and I wore something like a polo shirt and some "dressy" pants. Like everyone mentioned its not bad, in fact, look at yourself in the mirror and as long as you think you look "smart" you'll be fine. -
^ I'd be honored... this is still so funny/awesome!

I was at Disneyland with some friends and we went on pirates at 11:59, so we were the only ones in the boat. We each got our own row, and I said I was tired, I laid down and my friends followed. It for some reason didnt occur to me this was against the rules(I want to say I was like...12) and the CM was laughing as she said, "guys, please sit straight up."and it wasn't said until the last half of the ride. It was awesome and totally fun, but I'll never do it again. Also, we were in innoventions avoiding the rain and we put on a "rock show" while playing rock band which involved head banging, audience interaction, and some awesome semi choreographed moves. The CM working there said we made his day! -

Your favorite coaster tunnel
the ghost replied to chavslayer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Big Thunder Mountain(Disneyland)... All right, so we all know you drop out of a tunnel, but the next tunnel is an awesome airtime filled surprise if you sit in the "death row... as some people refer to it" aka row 1. There are coyotes above the tunnel, and you drop down, and its a decent angle, but when you come back up the hill a second later it is also a decesnt angle, so your legs get thrown into the safety bar on the break run. Maybe my favorite part of the ride, but it can only be experienced in the front. Another awesome 1 on that ride is the helix tunnel. Goliath @ SFMM is awesome. Nessie is awesome. I like the tunnels on Apocalypse quite a bit, despite not adding too much to the ride. I'd like to say that the ride with the best tunnel usage I have ever been on is matterhorn. Its in the same level of thrills as Thunder, obviously, but you just zip in and out of what seems like dozens and dozens of tunnels. I like how it uses the tunnels so much so that this may actually be my all time favorite night ride, cause it gets really dark at points, also there are the unexpected and kinda random points where you either race the car on the other side, and it is always surprising as they come out of the darkness. Plus it helps that the theming around the mountain as well as in the tunnels is all pretty damn awesome! -
Communications right here... gonna be a pr person! Its fun though, I am a good writer and I choose interesting topics, but dont go overly boring with it. You just cant take it too seriously, cause no one hates being talked down to or to have a pretentious douche talking to them. I'm in a semi terrible situation though. I took the "placement test" in high school and it showed I was in the "gifted" category for my communications and english language skills, but pretty much retarded(I'm not being mean, literally) in mathematics. I also cannot be diagnosed as it would be incredibly small, but I have signs similar to autism, such as being very good with words but being shitty with numbers, but I am obviously very high functioning, so it is not an official diagnosis, but yeah. The good news is I kick ass at my major, the bad news is that I have to get through on general ed, then well see.

News: Park Proposed for Las Vegas Strip
the ghost replied to deathbydinn's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
A small park may work here a bit outside the strip. Prices are insane for the coasters on or near the strip and as everyone else has said it is not really a family place. That being said, I didnt know any kid in 3rd or so grade that hadn't been to Vegas. As a southern Californian I know quite a few people who do a family trip to vegas for a long weekend or something and go to a cirque and go to dinner or something like that, so its not just adults in vegas. I actually agree that a waterpark seems like a good idea. -
Importance of Theming
the ghost replied to Hayzle's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Theming will make a bad ride good. Sure, a rough ride will be rough, but look at it this way. Imagine space mountain.... it's dark, loud, surprising. Remember if all of that was taken away... the ride is like 1/100th as good. Think of FMP's old vekoma mine ride compared to something like Mammut at Gardaland... absolutely no comparison as to which ride is better.
