Just saw Less Than Jake... if this reads slightly strangely it is copied and pasted(still originally written by me) from another site... Jesus Christ! Lol. I to put it simply the show was freaking INSANE. My parents said I needed to be back by 11:30, but about half way in I thought "HELL NO" and it was a great decision, although I did leave during the finals song. The setlist was the Normal one minus Gainesville Rock City but someone was getting married, so they played Peter Jackson is Getting Married, which I guess was a substitute. There were a few songs I didnt know, but I knew most of them and had an awesome time either way. Just Damn... what a show. All opening acts were great, although Headstrong was a bit "off" as the overly rowdy fans wanted something to mosh to and not an acoustic band. I though I'd hate Off With Their Heads as I hated his voice in music videos I have heard, but they sounded great live. I was already a fan of the supervillians and though they put on a fun show. And of course Less Than Jake was awesome. The band was very impressed with us socalians that we were so insane on a monday night, but we tore that place up. Wow! Such a good night. Now to continue my week I think Im going to disneyland on Friday and I am seeing Streetlight on Sunday. I am in such an awesome mood right now!!!!!!

^ I thought you were talking about the B&M and was confused...then I saw the arrow. Anyway, this almost seems like a revolution for B&Ms! We'll see, but it seems to me they're bringing back the forces! -
The "Preview" Thread
the ghost replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
All right, it's the time of the Ghost. I havent posted anything major for a while, but here I come. By the way, I have improved I think, what do you guys think? This is a mini park thats now called Azteka. Please comment and expect more soon!!!! Also, on the station pick I will zero clearance station. How do some people have station less rides? That would help for sure! SCR12.BMP One of Azteka's buildings in the entry plaza. SCR17.BMP Another building in the entrance plaza! SCR19.BMP Most of Panthero's layout. Its a little GCI. Also to all complaining about the straight drop, look at Joris en de Draak. The rest of the layout matches GCI's usual style. SCR14.BMP The station. I need some advice as I cant tell if I like it or not. Its the simple, semi realistic style I like, but something seems to be missing, and I cant quite put my finger on what. SCR24.BMP Some theming and landscaping will shortly begin in the que! -

Some of your building are give or take, but overall they look pretty good. However, the foliage and landscaping so far is phenomenal. -
Happy birthday and congratulations Robb and Elissa, and everyone else involved. TPR started, like I guess everything does, as a relatively small forum. I remember sometimes googling the word roller coaster, and I ended up here I guess when it was first starting in 2005. Then a year later I had to look up a video for a project about things we like to do. I chose amusement parks, saw a TPR pov, and the rest is history. TPR is an awesome example of how a group of awesome people can start an awesome site, make it relatively popular, and create a business that we are all happy to support and love to see thrive. The forums are the heart and soul of TPR imo. I have "met" so many awesome people, seen so many awesome places, and have made quite a few friends, even if they are on line. Once again, happy birthday forums, each year you get better and better as the site gets bigger and bigger as new members join.

This is my vote. Awesome food and easily the best non chocolate desert this chocoholic has EVER had. Probably my favorite restaurant at WDW, even beating out the very expensive Brown Derby. I had a good brunch(or maybe it was just lunch)in the Crystal Palace, which I believe was on main street, but it was kinda character dining. We did a lot of touristy stuff like character dining, actually, but the food was good and the buffet options were awesome, and my friend and I have an awesome photo with Tigger where we all sort of do, the manly pose. As everyone has mentioned though, those are not the best of the parks for Disney dining, and every other park in the resort has a restaurant that I can pretty highly recommend. ^ Thats true if you are looking for a quick service restaurant, but at most sit down restaurants, especially at Disney, should have reservations.

In a strange way I totally hate this thread. I am doing homework right now, eating a microwave lean cuisine, which is ok for microwave food, but... its microwave food. Then I read back a bit and jesus, everything looks awesome. -

Yep. This actually reminded me. People...STOP BRINGING YOUR DAMN KIDS TO HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS/KNOTTS HAUNT. If you can afford a baby sitter/don't have family maybe you should consider your children's BRAIN before taking them to this stuff. I have a friend who, to this day(he is almost 19) will not step foot into a haunted house because he was taken to haunt when he was like 4. I mean, do some people just not think...at all? I know this is a weird thing to bring up at this time of year, but a month or so ago I saw Black Swan, and some lady brought her like 6 year old and he sat next to me. It was pretty gory, disturbing as hell(if you dont shudder at least once your god) and two chicks have sex on screen. No way was he able to comprehend what was happening and he ended up semi ruining the movie for me because he started freaking out toward the end, but he also kept asking questions. I kinda wanted him to shut up, but no way did the kid want to see Black Swan, his stupid mom brought him to see the movie. Seriously... people... get smarter... PLEASE. If not at least be smarter with your children!

OMG, the chefs signature menu... I love mushrooms, steak, shrimp, chocolate, and bananas. Damn, that yakitori looks amazing as well. Honestly, although this is probably the FATTEST thing I have ever/will ever say, the food is what really sells me on the ships. Sure, I have a lot of fun with the other stuff, but getting a great breakfast and lunch and an OUTSTANDING dinner each night is awesome. My sisters are sooo stupid, they did almost EVERY SINGLE MEAL AT WINDJAMMERS, missed all but one dining room meal. I would NEVER EVER do that, not that theres anything wrong with Windjammers, but the experience of the dining room is great. The food fan Ghost -
^ I wish I had either a good PC or a PS3/XBox! The mom commercial made me LOL sooooo hard, possible the best add campaign for a game EVER. Also, I have never played it, but has anyone hear ever played amnesia? There are reaction videos of people almost crying due to their fear. My friend cant get past a specific level because hes scared to go on... how damn scary is this game?

^ That...was...AWESOME! Lol, I get what you're saying, but it totally depends on the movie. Toy Story 3 was very dark, but different. I don't think most of the littlest kids in the theater understood that the toys were about to die in the incinerator. At least, when I was that age it never ever occurred to me that a character would die. I remember being very sad about Mufasa dying, but it was completely 100% necessary, and at that age the good overtakes the bad, cause Timon and Pumba were there, and my "sadness" was gone. Also, the most traumatizing part in any kids movie, the shoe from Roger Rabbit, was used to explain what the goo stuff did. Now my rant. People at parks with YOUNG children are often ass holes. I have seen tons of occasions where very young children(like 2 and 3) have been forced to stay at Disneyland(or other parks) til midnight or so, despite being VERY tired and VERY VERY cranky. Its funny to me, because people go to Disney to be nice to their children, which is cool, everyone loves Disney and the kids love meeting characters. However, after a full day or when the kids want to rest/nap their parents drag them on rides. Also, why the hell do people take their toddlers to see fireworks/fantasmic/haunted mansion? Kids dont like A. Loud Noises, B. Giant ass fire breathing dragons, loud noises from the pirate ship cannon, and C being in an overly crowded noisy room where all the lights go off and EVERYONE screams at the top of their lungs, often making even me jump , lol. Do people really have so little common sense?

I think Dreamworks is even starting to fall behind Disney animation studios for me. I loved Bolt. I thought it was fun enough for everyone to enjoy it, the story was funny, and although the complexity was not as high as the pixar films it was a fun kids movie with fun characters. I ADORED The Princess and the Frog. I know its not computer animation, but it was a very well told story. The songs were great, the characters were awesome, and the shadow man was awesome and very dark for the films demographic. The movie as a whole was charming, and it reminded me a lot of New Orleans Square. I heard tangled was fantastic, despite not seeing it, but none of my friends wanted to see it, so I'll rent it. Also, as of now, Winnie the Pooh looks stunning. For the first time in my life the animated film I'm looking forward to least is Pixar. #1. Disney Animation Studios:Winnie the Pooh(without the heffalump ) #2. Dreamworks: Kung Fu Panda 2. Loved the first one, a little anxious on this one, but IMO Kung Fu Panda is the best pixar film since shrek 1 and 2 with Despicable me falling in 4th place. #3. Pixar:Cars 2. I agree with Tyler, needs some humans, and the fact that the cars are going to europe and theres "spy cars" just pushed it over the top... WHERE THE HELL ARE ALL THE HUMANS!!!!????

IDK why, but the name Great American Zipper makes me laugh. -
I feel bad for the kids, I really do, but it pisses me off that the parents are suing for emotional distress. Guess what? Disney screwed up, I will admit that, but they hurt your child, not you. It's not like someone threw a flaming bowl of nacho cheese at the kid, he grabbed it and spilled it. Secondly, I am pretty surprised this happened at all, especially at a Disney park. I was a CM over the summer at DCA and worked at Taste Pilot. Our lead would check the temperature gauges of the nachos, hot chocolate, and coffee machines just about hourly. They have a notebook with all the gages and have a specific thermometer for each machine, so it seems weird the nachos would get that hot. The small world guy just makes me mad entirely. I understand he was a paraplegic and that Disney should have some sort of wheel chair policy, but they don't for that specific ride. It seems VERY strange they don't, however, considering just about every ride I can think of(besides the subs) is completely wheel chair accessible. In fact, aren't there "wheelchair boats" like there are on the Grand Fiesta Tour, which is also a boat ride? Disney has some of the best lawyers in the world, so although they may get a fine for not being wheelchair accessible, he hasn't got a chance with emotional distress. In short Disney owes some money to the four year old for medical treatment and probably a little bit of money for emotional distress on his behalf, but not on the parents behalf. I guess it makes me mad about the guy in the wheelchair, it sucks what happened to you, but I got stuck on Tatso for 45 minutes, was given a front of the line pass for a reride, a food voucher, and a water bottle and I went to guest relations and commended them for the customer service given to us for being stuck on the ride.

This looks almost(remember, I am a fanboy) as awesome as the Disney dream. Awesome pictures and cupcake. Also, I thought Russel was eating a keish, but it totally looks like escargot now that I look at it. -
I agree with Robb, us socalians are not bright people. I was an employee at Wild Rivers Waterpark for 3 summers and you'd be amazed, as I was, when people would complain about the hot ground to my boss. Other popular complaints included being stung by bees, which someone said they would sue for, complaining to management about over heat despite being at a water park which has water slides as well as water and drinks for purchase.
