Not to be a backseat mod, but I am almost sure I've seen this thread before. -
New vekoma ride design
the ghost replied to elkingda toroka's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thats kind of true. But in my opinion the train dioes not make the ride (GCI coasters MF trains are one of the few exceptions) and although the trains will make the ride much better they are still going on an SLC. The reviews for Nor'Easter but it will not be as smooth as a B&M invert. Also, I have never been on a Vekoma sit down besides Boomerang, and I did not like it. Vekoma will NEVER be as good as B&M, because they were the original. -

ITS BEGINNING TO FEEL A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!! Hey guys, with all the snowy atmosphere around the park, I felt like giving my readers a Christmas gift. The official update will be posted within the next 2 days(hopefully tomorrow, but I am seeing a musical for extra credit in school. The play is in LA, which is about an hour away, so we'll see.) Here's a little preview of the newly named Gun Barrel SCR374.BMP Ho Ho Ho!

Angus McNasty is just awesome. He is a pimp among cats! and all other coast(including my own) bow to not only his awesomeness, but also, he has the coolest name in the entire world. Awesome work so far Collin, I really think people need to start using alternative fuels and this will open many people eyes! keep it up.

It's far for a short trip, and is pretty far from so cal, especially with a toddler at home. When my youth pastors daughter was two and we were at a seven day camp, he did not want to leave her at home for that long so he actually called another youth pastor that came to camp, and my youth pastor drove down the mountain(my camp is at the top of the mountain) with three days of camp remaining. LMAO at the Michael Phelps thing. BTW Elissa, do you like my sig?

Yeah, I forgot about Roar, and did not mention Wildcat due to the addition of MF trains, I heard it is much better now. -
Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride

I have never been on a GCI, but have always wanted to, and will get my chance very shortly. A question for anyone who has ridden a GCI, does the "dead mans turn" element hurt? The ending of that element looks totally brutal, but, besides Gwazi (which I'm sure would be better with MFs) are there any really rough GCI's. Anyway, I have pretty high hopes for this ride. -
Gerd´s little school of Cooking!
the ghost replied to gerd.muller's topic in Random, Random, Random
I don't even like lasagna, and that still looks awesome. Maybe I will like this lasagna however, the one I usually buy is microwavable. I don't really cook lol. Like everyone has said, this is an awesome thread! I even made my signature the best quote from this entire thread. -
Not even close In 1973, Deer Valley Ski Resort was celebrating its 20h year anniversary, and, on midnight of New Years Eve, there was a staff party to ring in the new year of the successful season and anniversary they were having. The parks next season season would feature the parks new run gun barrel. There was an old wooden cabin made by a hermit who had killed himself due to depression from his family dying in a blizzard. People had always said the hermit was extremely territorial and crazy, and was willing to destroy his property and everything in his path for people to leave him and his family alone. People got totally wasted, because it was new years eve, and decided to go for a walk. One of the coolest things about the mountain was that there were these huge boulders, that you could see at the very top. They were rendered immovable, and were tested for safety and passed every inspection. The drunk people who were climbing around said they heard crazy laughter, and, saw a specter, that from old images, revealed the hermit. The other members of the staff told them they had had too much to drink and that it was not the hermit. Later that night, at around 11:30 people said they saw kid like drawings(people thought pf the hermits five year old daughter, as it was stick figures) in the snow. The drawings were of a house being hit by a giant boulder. At exactly midnight, there was a huge 6.0 earthquake and a boulder knocked the house down, causing every member of the staff to die, besides one man. The man is now in an insane asylum, he claimed that he heard a loud, almost creature like howl/laugh and claims he saw a specter running down the mountain(the trail to get to the rocks) he claimed it was the hermit. It is now 26 years later, and the boulders, besides the one that hit the cabin still remain(they are in a "safer"place) and staff is considering opening the now legendary gun barrel ski run. Legend has it that the hermit still stalks the hills, bur that's all a myth. Right? I don't know exactly how I'm gonna theme it, but that's my new story line. Do you like it?

All right guys, for now, my Grandma is okay. I don't know if it will last, but she is okay. I am planning a new story line tonight, and maybe, a new update(no promises though.) The story will be considerably darker, as I am going to apply my deep love of horror/ disaster movies to create a new awesome story line. All I can say is HAPPY NEW YEAR (this is a clue)

Hey guys, There is a chance there will be no updates for a while, but the park will come back. My Grandma is not doing very well and has Parkinson's disease(meaning shes extremely weak) she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and currently has shingles(adult chicken pox) and a 103 degree fever. Also, on top of all that she is supposed to have surgery on Friday, but, my mom just rushed to their house, and she is not feeling well and is very sick. I'm sure you guys understand, and, yes the park will continue, but it really depends on how my grandma does. The park may receive an update within a matter of days, or it may be a matter of months. Thanks for understanding, The Ghost

Thrill Point Park [RCT2]
the ghost replied to BelgianGuy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
WOW, everything in the trailers look great. -
Thats true. I never thought of that, but I dont see why she would not be in the pictures. That is not really a clue, and, she travels all the time, so its not like she's to young to travel with them. Also, it would not give up a clue. Robb, are you allowed to tell us if KT is with you? Or is that to big of a clue?

That's like my worst fear. Especially in season 1 where there are roaches everywhere in the restuarant. That was nasty. Just out of pure curiosity, what was the restuarant called? Did anyone think Ramsay's dec ision was kind of unfair tonight. I hate the person who was eliminated(wont give it away unless you haven't seen it) but they seemed to be doing a decent job, at least during that particular dinner service.

Dream Land [RCT3]
the ghost replied to Deanoo2008's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Please fix the log flume. A turn right after the drop is extremely unrealisic. The park actually looks pretty nice, for what I am assuming is your first park posted here with only 7 other posts, am I correct? The wooden coaster looks really good, but I would like to get an overviw so I can get a better view of the layout. Also, if possible try to fix the landscaping above loggers leep so there is no big gash in the mountain side. I don't play RCT3 so I don't know if thats possible. KEEP IT UP!!! -
^^ Thanks ^ I thought coasters with the spiral lifts were called jet stars. Tell me if you guys like the following story line/concept for the new coaster. A group of skiiers and snowboarders decide to ride a slope that has been shut down for the last 7 years, due to the fact the run is prone to avalanches and other relentless run conditions. The run was so intense that is was actually called double black diamond. The group of skiiers and snowboarders must brave this dangerous/closedoff ski run. Do you think they will survive?
