What is the best floorless?
chickenbowl replied to ddaver177's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. Superman Krypton Coaster 1.5. Wildfire (Basically a floorless!! ) 2. Kraken 3. Medusa 4. Dominator 5. Bizarro 6. Batman - the Dark Knight 7. Scream! (Haven't ridden Hydra or Rougarou since the conversion) -
Re: Intimidator 305: How can you say you know how the "GP" feels about the coaster? How can you know if the park is unhappy with their attendance boost? How do you know KD even paid for the ride modifications? For all you know, Intamin hadn't delivered a coaster with the agreed upon forces, and ultimately had to deal with fixing it on their dime. I wouldn't put words into the parks mouth like that.

Quoted for truth. I don't like spinning coasters too much, I'm not a big fan of flat rides either. Give me new trains (God, I love comfy Mack trains like Manta's), but please no spinning! -

I mean, aside from the vest restraints comment (I love them), I do feel like a Wacky Worm provides a more intense ride than 90% of all B&Ms built in the last decade. Mostly because I don't trust the structure to remain intact. Highly doubt that. I hate when people say stuff like that (or the "OMG, who even cares about this coaster, look at Raptor!" comments). Everyone knows it's cool to talk about how post-2000 B&M's stand for Boring & Mild, but it's become a farce. It bothers me how much everyone exaggerates how B&M is losing their touch. Fury looks top-10 good, Banshee looks like the best Invert since Katun in 2000 and this easily looks like the best Dive Coaster! (I've also been hearing really positive things about Thunderbird) Have some faith, people. Side note - I personally enjoy SheiKra more than any Invert I've ridden (including Montu, Alpengeist, and Dueling Dragons) Side note (the sequel) - I personally am a bit worried about the vest restraints due to poor experiences on X-Flight and Wild Eagle, but I am hopeful they will be unlocked (similar to GateKeeper and Banshee) -

I hope they don't add an inversion to any coaster, I hope instead we get a Legend retrack with an additional double up or something for the element! -

That's what I was thinking. But the element could be anything really! I remembered hearing that Legend is getting an extensive retrack, so maybe we will be seeing some big changes here!? -

That's funny, because out of all the 10 unique B&M Inverts I've been on, Raptor is my 4th favorite. I think it pretty good, maybe even great, but not amazing. -

It kinda looks like a mirrored Tonnerre de Zeus at Parc Asterix, but it's a little off so I'll keep thinking! -

Agreed. I am less skeptical than I was before, but I still don't want to get my hopes up too much. I am crossing my fingers on this one! The family wanting to build it are successful developers from Miami. I have a feeling they'll get the funding. That's really promising to hear, I don't know much about the specifics of the proposed funding on the project. I do know that I've seen many things "announced" that eventually fall through. I can tell you that once I see steel being erected, I will buy a plane flight to Orlando cause this coaster will be not to miss! -

Is anyone else a little worried about the vest restraints? I know that GateKeeper's don't lock down and tighten like they used to (Or like on Wild Eagle and X-Flight), but even if they don't tighten I'm still worried that they will be too tight to fully enjoy the airtime. One of my favorite aspects of the airtime on SheiKra and Griffon is that the restraints don't quite touch all of my upper body and I have a lot of room to float around on the drop, I'm more able to come out of my seat. I'm worried that the new restraints won't offer that same freedom. -

They might just simply be wider trains? 4-across? All B&M sit-downs and floorless have catwalks on both sides. We may be seeing just a new style of train here.
