I take it that Lightning Rod is still closed today? Do you all think it will be 3-5 days closed like Wildfire? I really hope it's open by next Monday... -

I rode GhostRider three times yesterday (silver front, gold back, silver back at night). Here's my review: GhostRider feels a lot like the old ride before the MCBR came to a full stop, but smooth! Airtime is there, but floater at best (even for "the drop" in the back). I actually found there to be more airtime overall in the front, mainly due to the awesome second half. The mix of laterals and floater pops was really fun. Pros: - Smooth and comfortable everywhere - Few more spots of airtime than I ever had before - Second half is a ton of fun - It's great to ride a coaster operating much closer to that full potential - Trains are very comfortable Cons: - It's still got a few fairly slow parts - Airtime is not very strong, even for GCI (still prefer Gold Striker and Thunderhead) - I still wish RMC got their hands on this instead... Here's my new wood top ten, for relativity: 1. Outlaw Run 2. El Toro 3. Boulder Dash 4. Phoenix 5. Goliath 6. Coaster, Playland 7. Gold Striker 8. Thunderhead 9. Tremors 10. GhostRider

Stop speaking like you know what's going on behind the scenes... you literally have no idea... None of us have any idea. For all we know, DW could have spent as much money as possible with this ride. Most everything we've heard is rumor. Okay, then stop with the baseless speculation, you're only spreading misinformation... -

Literally the stupidest thing I've read on here, and I witnessed the hashtag craze from the last few months... -
You were 8 at the oldest when it was SROS... you're basing your opinion off of rides from when you were 8? Never mind that have ridden a suspiciously large amount of coasters for a 16 year-old... EDIT: Oh, I see now, you haven't ridden all of these coasters. This thread is supposed to be based off of personal experience, not prediction of quality.

Awesome to know, thank you! Vekoma has apparently stepped up their game! -

Also, this layout looks so fluid and smooth, almost... Dare I say.. RMC-ish? Do you think the recent partnership with Vekoma/RMC overseas may have sparked Vekoma to form a relationship with RMC's layout designers (Ride Centerline)?? -

Didn't Vekoma state 2 or 3 years ago that they have discontinued selling new products in North America? Kinda sucks... Freedom Flyer was the last new Vekoma built in 2013 (other than the Vekoma/Disney partnered Seven Dwarfs coaster in 2014 which was planned years in advance). -

I'm assuming it's referring to a high braking acceleration (90 kmh to a stop) -

I've heard reports of that "Gerstlauer roughness" already on Monster... Somebody tell me this isn't true... -
I disliked both. I guess I like Batman more than the torture machine that is GL:FF... But I wouldn't really want to reride it now. I found the restraints really uncomfortable on my collarbones, just like X-Flight and Wild Eagle. Maybe I'm a baby? Or maybe getting thrown into my collar bones and then a hard plastic seat repeatedly isn't really my thing...

I have a few tattoos. Here are my favorite: The Big Sur, CA coastline with a cypress tree at sunset! blackline style. A Kraken in watercolor style. I would love a roller coaster tattoo to express my connection to coasters, but I have yet to see or come up with a design that I would want.
