[NL] Gravity Lake

Here is Gravity Lake, an insanely fast and intense little Gravity Group style woodie. Its really fun and smooth so I hope you enjoy it! I should mention that there ARE some g-spikes, but I dont think that hurts the ride in anyway. Also, please leave some feedback so I know where I can improve!!! I'm not sure how resize pictures (can anybody tell me?) so you can look at them here: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p3618 FUNNNNNNN 12.nltrack -

^Me neither, sadly. Also, how are the crowds in mid August? -
I just recently saw the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. I saw the remake first, and it was pretty good, so I wanted to watch The Beginning. I read so many bad reviews for it so I went in thinking it would suck, but it was REALLY good I thought. Definetely one of my favorite horror movies. It was pretty creepy and strange and intense.

I'll give it a try! One quick question and I'm sorry if it is a stupid one: lets say I made a drop of 85 feet but then I made the terraforming gradually making it go lower and lower, but in a few drops. So I guess my question is that does the 85 feet height mean the maximum height of one drop or the maximum elevation change? I hope that made sense and I hope it wasn't a bad question!

So I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but I don't want to read 109 pages to find out. I've been wondering how intense the launch is going to be, like how long it takes to reach 70 mph, anyone know? OMG I'm so excited to ride this this summer!! -
^ I agree, I love all the Saw movies. They are all SOOOO good and have such a great twist at the end. I also like the Amityville Horror, the remake, I haven't seen the original. Also, The Descent is good. I want to see the Texas Chainsaw Massacre but I don't see too many movies.

Sharp Stops!
jimbobcoaster replied to haiderodes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
As many people said, Great American Scream Machine at SFOG. Of course, the last time I rode it I was ready for the break, so I braced myself, but I still banged my head on the seat... HARD. -
This is probably the most terrifying thread ever. Some of these people are going to give me nightmares That sex offender guy is scary looking....VERY scary looking!

What are your TOP TEN COASTERS
jimbobcoaster replied to ddaver177's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is hard, but here's mine: 1. Expedition Ge-Force (Holiday Park) 2. Xcelerator (KBF) 3. X (SFMM) 4. Tatsu (SFMM) 5. Goliath (SFMM) 6. Ghostrider (KBF) 7. Deja Vu (SFMM/SFOG) 8. V2 (SFDK) 9. Goliath (SFOG) 10. Georgia Scorcher (SFOG) -
Helices is my newest coaster that is in the construction stages. It is an unbelievably compact and intense coaster! As of now, it passes tunnel testing, and I intend to keep it that way...I am not sure how to add photos directly to this site without having it too big, so photos can be seen here: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p3458 So far, about 75% of the trackwork is complete and no supports are done yet. The track is actually VERY smooth despite how compact the ride is. I haven't picked out any colors for it yet, so it is all on the default colors. So anyway, I will try to keep everyone updated! Tell me what you think so far!

I'm not too sure how to start the tutorial, but I will try to help you out. First, look at the top of the screen and find "Segment" and scroll down to click "Station". Next, click to button next to the arrow that says "add" and shows a vertex. To make the station, click any distance from the arrow as you want the length to be and if it isn't straight, try to straighten it or have the track highlighted, right click and scroll down to "make straight". (remember to look at it from different views to make sure it looks the way you want it...) After that, on a side angle, go back to "Segment" and find "Lift". Do the same thing and add another vertex that is out and a little up from the station, making it a certain steepness that you want by adjusting the vertex or whatever. Then, just like the station, click out and up, continuing the general steepness of the lift, right click and press "make straight". This all may be confusing, but after that point, you have to just play with it. That's the easiest way to do it. At first I didn't think I would ever be able to make a coaster, but upon practice, its really not that bad anymore! I'm sorry, that was probably incredibly confusing, but continue to ask questions if you need help, and have fun!

I appreciate the comments, but does anybody who has downloaded it have any in depth review of my coaster? I always want as much constructive criticism and comments so I know what to improve on next time! Thanks! -
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!

Great trip report Ryan! I'm glad you had a good time at SFDK. I am surprised that you liked Kong though... Just saying, I think it is slow and rough, but still, great photos and captions and everything! -

B&M vs Intamin
jimbobcoaster replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For me, it is definitely Intamin! I love most of the Intamin coasters I have ridden (Expedition Ge-Force and Xcelerator being my #1 and #2) while I find I am not much of a fan of B&M. I find that usually I skip the B&M coaster in the park if I haven't already gotten the credit because they are just inversion after inversion. Not only that but they can get vibratey and just not fun. Also, judging from Goliath in SFOG, their hyper coasters are not great either. There just was very little airtime and nothing that made me want to ride it again. Intamin gets my vote!
