Well, the other day my parents confirmed that we will be going to our annual trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina! And I got right in the vacation mood, looking at our place and HHI! So post your pics of your favorite vacation spots! I travel by car (10 hours) down there, and usually stop by Carowinds! I meet up with my cousins, grandma and grand pa for about 7 days. If I am lucky, I take a friend! The house is called an ocean walk...its so close you can hear the beach! I love boogy boarding as well. Skyflyers....at PKI when I went on mine for the first time, it is freakkyyyy being held up 175ft above the ground, staring face down....man when you drop, it is an awesome feeling! Great adrenaline rush!

When I first got there, I was not nervous to ride it, though it was very intimidating....to everyone I think....I mean, just look at the crowd it draws in the bleachers and people just stop and look at it in amazement.....but when I accually got on the ride and we pulled out on the launch track, and saw the train infront of us launch.....I got nervous....in a good way....like a really excited nervous. But after the ride was over....dear God....it was amazing

Borat was awesome! 9/10 -borat walks through the city and sees a girl- Very nice...eh how much? hahhahahaha The bear in the ice cream truck and 'Jew egg' made me lmao

In some interiew or article I remember it saying that it was built kinda wrong and that, that is the reason it is so rough....maybe they are completely re-building that rough/broken area....I can not wait to see how this turns out when the park re-opens. SOB was never really on my PKI top 5 coaster list.....Im hoping now it will be on it!

Yea, I havent been since 2001 either....make sure to hit every park, I remember we mainly went to MGM and Magic Kindom....only an hour or two at AK and Epcot...theres newer stuff there.

It was already announced by a park representative that it WILL be opening by the park's opening....recent stuff? Well those pics are from December 28th or somthing....so there ya go.

I guess they couldnt have really found all the problems by walking over the track, by the looks of the pics, it was more at the base or towards the ground in the 1st helix area....but still, it should have been seen or somthing noticed wrong

Here's some pics I found on PKI Central.....note the white thing over the last turn around....I dont see the trains on the transfer track or station....hmm Edit - Ugh....im stupid....I guess the white tarp is over it for weather reasons.....snow is supposed to be hitting this area soon I assume just fixing the areas Another look....I dont see any trains either No more loop

Wow, this news has made it to a radio talk show here in Cincinnati! (700 WLW AM) They made a joke about it and how it was Tigger at a Disney World park rather than some park thats not as big as Disney. "The Happiest Place On Earth"

Now that I think of it, I wonder if taking off the 6th car of the trains did much....yes, they took off the 6th car when the re-tracked it. I wonder if it helped, or was an attempt to improve the ride. the only thing I felt different was airtime on the 1st drop in the very back! Hmm

I always pictured a double down leading into the helix.....but a tunnel sounds sweet! Would make it more of a Son of the Beast....beast having all those tunnels and such....
