I'm excited. I noticed that nothing was mentioned about The Bat being open in the email though. Maybe they'll throw that in as a surprise...at least I'm hoping they will. -

How can you tell anything from that horrible video? It was like I was watching a really long animated gif. -

Yes. I figured it would be simple. -

Yay! I'll see you for part of the trip at least. -
I wasn't even aware that Bronys were people as well as some cartoon that I've never seen. I am aware of Furries and the creepiness that they exude, so I'd assume Bronys (Bronies?) are similar. Am I correct? The last time I was at Kings Island there was a group of Furries walking around, with tails and dog collars and other ridiculous accessories. Three of the were teenaged boys (probably between 14-17) and one was a dude around my age (mid to late 30s). It was disturbing and made me feel really gross. I don't understand it.

It ruined my day when I was unsuccessful at avoiding a squirrel while driving. I can't imagine how inadvertently punting a chipmunk across the park would devastate me. -

You got a trip DVD? I've been waiting on mine from the 2011 Northeast trip. I thought it just took a really long time...maybe I was just skipped over. -

I find myself skipping through most trip reports and without reading the captions because they are usually pretty repetitive. This is one of the few reports that I've actually looked at each picture and read each caption. Good style and good humor. -

This is one of the most fluid coasters I've ever seen. It looks like really elegant cursive penmanship. -

Yes. I was there yesterday for Procter and Gamble's private event. The first a-frame support of the lift hil was up. -
It was open from 6 until midnight. BTW, the front car (second seat) of The Beast gave one of the smoothest rides I've ever had on it last night and Diamondback offered a lot more air than I remember. Although I wouldn't normally rank it very high on my coaster list (if I were into ranking rides), a good night-time ride on The Beast pushes it up a few spots and pretty close to the top.

Just got back from Pride Night at Kings Island. Nice weather, no lines, cute guys...what more could you ask for?

I love this color combination a little more each time I see it. I bet it will look awesome and creepy at night, with just a couple of flood lights shining on the drop and first couple of inversions.
