  1. I like the way you think!
  2. Hopefully you had that laying around from last year. They changed the label for this years edition. I echo the comments on Bell's Two Hearted. Quite the excellent brew. My Thanksgiving run down (sorry no photos). Fri Nov 24 - Fatheads (Pittsburgh, PA) Magic Hat Number 9 - Draft Rogue Santa's Private Reserve - Draft Southern Tier Un-Earthy IPA - Draft Sat Nov 25 - Sharp Edge Creekhouse (Crafton, PA) Delerium Noel - Draft Anderson Valley Winter Solstice - Draft KO Blonde - 22oz Bottle Troeggs Mad Elf - 12oz Bottle Other than prefering the Winter Solstice in the bottle, all good brews.
  3. Beatles. Everyone else has run their legacy into the ground.

  6. ^ Paul. It was on for our boat and I know what didn't ride it too far apart.
  7. You could show me a factory worker embedding razor blades in a dead cow and I would still crave a nice juicy Filet Mignon.
  8. CoasterFanatic: 176 Images images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=coasterfanatic&btnG=Search+Images Ted Cromwell: Only 59 images.google.com/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&q=ted+cromwell Kind of funny that it brings back a bunch of "Revenge of the Nerds" pictures. I guess when you mix Ted McGinley and Jaime Cromwell you get me.
  9. ^ At one point they reprofiled the first drop. This left some track laying around that they used to support the ride's facade.
  10. I am pretty much going to side with Derek on this one. These woodies that are being built today are not the same as those of the past. Not too many of the old woodies throw around nearly as many forces as today's rides.
  11. No idea on the Coca-Cola thing, but I would be willing to wager a good chuck of change that the B&M display is straight off of Goliath. They typically use a local example as to not have to ship a train too far.
  12. Is that possible? I highly recommend this read by the man who put away Manson. If he would have prosecuted OJ, he would not be available for this interview.
  13. Hey James, that reminds me ... I have a pretty funny picture of that. Note: James was smart enough to borrow my sandles. More brave poncho-less riders. Before: After:
  14. I was under the impression that the track was there mostly to support the facade and NOT the building. Anyway ... the layout I promised (credit to ukrides.com)[/img] ukrides.com ukrides.com
  15. If your main goal is to get the video onto a DVD. Best to go with MPEG2. It is the standard. Trouble is ... you usually have to purchase the codec unless you already have some software installed that includes it.
  16. That came out really nice, Derek. My compliments to the artist. Been 10 years since my last tat ... it is about that time. Maybe I should follow your lead
  17. Remove the seatbelts from the Kennywood Racer. Like it didn't load/unload slow enough.
  18. Is it possible to take a bus to one of the stops on the "coney" line. Seems like that would be faster than crossing the river.
  19. That you for covering that one Larry. // Nothing more to see here .... closed
  20. There is a generic blueprint of the layout out there somewhere. I have seen it. I will have to see if I can dig it up.
  21. What do you mean bring back? I have already caught a lot of crap on it, but I think that Coney can be saved without being rezoned as a residential entity. Many of the people in New York look at the outside world a lot differently and don't travel too much outside of the five buroughs. Turn Coney into a real draw and you would be surprised how many people will flow into that new Subway station right across the street. Keep the Multiplexes and Starbucks in Manhattan!
  22. Just an FYI: Dell is offering a FREE upgrade to Vista when it comes out on most machines.
  23. ^ Dude! What the hell is it with you and NAD trains? Although I haven't been there for quite a while, the Big Dipper is a fun little medium sized woodie. It used to have a real long tunnel on it, but I think it has been shortened over the years. Since you are such the NAD fan, you might also want to check out the parks other coaster, the Little Dipper. It has Junior NADS (that sounds funny) and they let adults ride. // enjoy your nads
