Great trip report! My family and I had the pleasure of visiting these two parks back in 2007 and we were blown away. I wasn't expecting such nice parks in the middle of nowhere in Guatemala! Thanks again for sharing with us! -
Not to change the subject, but Elissa how do your parents like Princess? We might have an opportunity to sail out of San Juan this year and the options are Carnival, Princess and Celebrity. For some reason the Celebrity ship is priced at lot higher for the particular dates we need, so I am learning towards Princess. Thanks for any insight!

I got the Blu-ray combo pack. Thanks Robb! -
^^The corkscrew at Flamingoland certainly has a padding issue, but I wouldn't call it rough. If they would just dial down the padding it would be doable IMO.

Yeah I agree that buying a home is a good thing when the situation fits it. Of course I sold my home in the top of the market and came back and bought when things were lower, but I think ownership is a good thing. The way I afford things is by not overspending. I own two cars outright and have a house payment that is less than $600 per month because I didn't buy a house that I can afford, but one that I could pay for while also saving a lot of money. Having low expenditures = freedom. This is something that a lot of people fail to realize.

I can honestly say, having been on over 500 coasters, that the Coney Island Cyclone (In the back seat) takes the cake as the single roughest and scariest coaster experience of my life. After the first drop I just wanted to cry and wasn't sure if I would survive!!!
