Last night was freaking hilarious. When Phil got chased around the yard I cracked up. I couldn't believe that Charla and Myrna finished first. They got very lucky when they chose the nail polish challenge. And I see what people are saying about hating how Myrna talks with a fake accent, it's getting on my nerves too. The challenges are still a bit weak although the coal challenge seemed to be one of the most physical so far. They really need to make the challenges harder.

Exit to Eden (nothing like an S&M island comedy) Mannequin (nothing better than 80's cheese) Troll and Troll 2 (two movies so bad they're good) Masters of the Universe (you gotta love He-Man) Serial Mom (this movie is beyond funny, Kathleen Turner is awesome)

That was great! I can't wait to go back to Orlando again. I'm gonna get to go to IOA this time, I'm super-excited. -
Has anybody here ever had the pleasure to ride this thing? It's a pedal powered roller coaster. I saw it on someone's list of coasters that they would never ride. It looks pretty cool and yet frightening at the same time with those little bitty seat belts. It'd be a fun way to exercise at least http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/03/treehuggerstyle.php

Frog Princess - Disney's First Black Princess
gnewton34 replied to Ryan King's topic in Random, Random, Random
They need to go back to the beauty and the beast, little mermaid and aladdin formulas. I've read that it's going to focus around the jazz music era. And to that i say yuck. The music in aristocats is jazz-focused and i hate the music. And randy newman has done some good music but it's just not as memorable or endearing as the music in the little mermaid, aladdin, and beauty and the beast. (I love the spoof on Family Guy when they meet Randy Newman and all he does is just write and sing lyrics about every singly thing that they do and it all sounds alike.) They had alan menken on board to do it but decided not to use him because he's working on that movie with patrick dempsey that's animated and live-action. I would much rather have seen him on board. And the whole princess in new orleans just doesn't make sense. Wish they'd chosen something better to try to revive 2D animation with. I see this movie flopping big time. It would honestly surprise me greatly if it does well. Also, the animation style from the picture looks like that of the Proud Family which i detest. If i was guessing who Disney was gonna use for the voice, I would guess Jennifer Hudson or Raven. -
i rode it for the first time last year, guess it was my last time. i honestly didn't enjoy it though. it was painful and i had to close my eyes halfway through it because it gave me motion sickness. i've always had problems with big movie screens doing that to me though. i can ride any kind of ride there is but watching motion on a screen like that gets to me every time just like reading a book while riding in a car. i was looking pretty green when i got off. didn't universal get the rights to harry potter? perhaps they're planning a harry potter ride for the space? or was that just IOA.

I just hope they don't add Eddie Murphy -
i definitely agree that they need some harder tasks. that word scramble road block did actually make them think more than most other challenges i've seen though.

Tonight was a real nail-biter. I loved it!

Holy Crap! It's Castle Grayskull from He-Man! -
I love the Goonies and I love action figures. For those who are fans of The Goonies and/or action figures, I thought I would post this announcement from Mezco. They're releasing figures of the characters, check out pictures of the prototypes of Mikey, Data, Chunk, Mouth and Sloth at the link below. They're still pending license approval but odds are that they will be released. This makes me happy because the Goonies is my most favorite movie ever. I've even met Sean Astin in person and got him to sign my copy of the DVD. http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=169&itemid=10914

the amazing race is one of my all-time favorite shows. i was so excited to see charla and mirna back. i still crack up whenever i think about her grabbing that electric fence during her season. i was sad that Adam and Rebecca didn't get to come back. i know they're no longer together and Rebecca is on Bravo's Workout but still they were funny to watch. and whether or not you like or hate rob and amber, you have to admit that they make the competition a whole lot more interesting. the family edition was just okay, the pace was just way too slow and the challenges were made way easier to accommodate the younger contestants. plus it was too hard to keep up with so many people on each team.

This is one of my favorite shows, it ties with my other favorite The Amazing Race. It's great! I'm a nursing student so everyone in my class watches this show. And we all discuss it in between class and on breaks.

I had a dream last night that there was a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada and I was in it. But it wasn't fun because I was in a scene with Meryl Streep and she was naked.
