Medusa at Great Adventure has the occasional problem with the midcourse breaks that causes it to be down for an entire day here and there. It has had this problem ever since the day that it opened.

With the exception of the ones that were liquidated, and the ones sitting in the boneyard, of course. Just look at Sky Pilot; it doesn't seem to be doing to well... Of course the rides that are in the boneyard are not doing that great. By "moved" I meant relocated. And getting onto this whole thing about Great Adventure removing rides and coasters, the park has a very weird history and the removal of Chiller just adds to that. Just think of how long Cedar Point and Geauga Lake have been in operation compared to Great Adventure and those two parks have removed 13 coasters each, while Great Adventure has removed the same amount.

If another park bought this ride, they are stupid. This ride has had so many problems over the years, it would be a terrible investment. Of course, just about any ride that has been moved from Great Adventure has worked great after its removal, so who knows.

Knoebels is not in full operation during those dates, but the Antique Cars and Phoenix are open. The money that is made off of those rides is then donated to charity and I believe a local firehouse.

I don't think attendance is so much down as it is no where near where Cedar Fair wants it to be, or thought it was going to be.

I have to agree with most of that. The formula that they have seems to be pretty freakin' good on paper. It is just a matter of seeing just how good it is when it is built. However, I guess people can have their opinion on the layout if they want to. I have to say that I love the layout and I think it is very good. I wouldn't necessarily say that a different kind of layout would make a worse ride. I'm sure there are things that could be done to make the ride different and better. I just personally think that the way it is now makes for a pretty neat ride experience - like I said, on paper.

A huge B&M hyper that costs a park 26 million dollars and all people are doing is crying about it.

Not to mention the Canadian Goliath, which I hear is pretty kick ass.

Senior year of college (finally!) starts this Wednesday. I am pumped!

32 people per train seems pretty capacity friendly to me....

Terrance - very, um, interesting stuff..... Entertaining to say the least. Glad you had a good time on the trip. It is too bad that I had to drop out. There seem to have been some real characters on this trip.
