Greetings From LucasArts
Zen Coaster replied to LucasArts-Chris's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
They're set in place. I've only just unlocked the 2nd park so don't know if paths come up as a research option later in the game but I imagine they wouldn't. As said earlier, with the last park when you have finished it, you're able to tweak it to your heart's content - don't know if this would extend to parks though. Chris, if you're still around, I love the fact there are different parks to unlock and they seem so different. I don't know why but I had the impression it would be just the one park with six zones unlocked one-by-one. And this game's really fun to play. Completely different thing to RCT3 but a game like that wouldn't have worked on a console/PSP. I own the PS2 version and will be buying the PSP version for the Theme Park Review trips next year For those bus rides between parks -
Video of WarioWare for the Wii

That looks awesome. Was already on my buy list though - we have to wait until January but should be worth the wait. Love how the 'retro' section includes such a good combination of Nintendo formats. Thanks for the link! -
Oh my god. *leaves puddle of drool on the ground* Bitterly bitterly jealous of your friend.

BTTF or Biff To The Future
Zen Coaster replied to Leaping La Ronde Boobis's topic in Random, Random, Random
Yeah, exactly, good for him! He was in a TV series called DO OVER where a guy found himself a kid again with the chance to improve not just his life but those of the entire family. Apparently he played a high school football coach or something. I saw a couple of episodes, it wasn't a bad show but it was canned here. In Australia, shows don't always get much of a chance to find a following. Looking at his profile on IMDB it seems like he's just been doing TV and video games mainly. -
1 pair of red/grey Nike Frees, the new ones. Had an older pair which got worn out, these seem much stronger. They're awesome for cross country and track. Definitely my favourite pair to wear, believe the marketing hype, they do feel like being in bare feet. 1 pair of black Flojos flipflops 1 pair of charcoal dress shoes 2 pairs of Converse boots - one deep blue, the other lime green A few pairs of black dress shoes. 1 pair of Adidas Martial Arts shoes [for karate] 2 pairs of gymnastics shoes 1 pair of soccer boots 1 pair of hiphop shoes 1 pair of ballet shoes

^ If he's up to going, should contact Disney GR and see what extra things they can do to make the visit more special - if you don't think that would make him sadder (if you know what I mean). Must be tough on all of you too but it sounds like he has some good mates to support him.

Last film I saw was Casino Royale and thought it was close to perfect. Could have had a bit more action in the second half but that's nitpicking. Daniel Craig is a brilliant Bond. Tonight I'm seeing Borat with a friend and everyone says it's hilarious so should be a good one. I'll post a little review in here later. EDIT: Just got back from seeing it. It was...KINDA funny but a bit TOO crude in parts. To go into much in the way of specifics would spoil it (Robb, we NEED a SomethingAwful-style spoiler tag), but let's just say one scene in particular goes quite far in terms of male horseplay during mutual nudity. And was that final scene with Pamela staged? It just seems too full-on to be real. Overall, I was a bit embarrassed to have taken the girl to it (she's just a friend, it wasn't a date... but STILL). I didn't expect it to be as crude as it was, just funny... mmm. 3 -DROOLING- Dragons/5.

Title: Bongo Bong / Je Ne T'Aime Plus Artist: Robbie Williams *instantly loses all 'street cred' on TPR*
-
Title: Crying Artist: Damien Leith Our just-crowned Australian Idol. He did this song on the show & Roy Orbison's family rang up one of the show's judges requesting a copy, having heard how good a job he did of performing it. As I went to hit 'Submit', his version of Nessun Dorma began and it's glorious. It was the judge's choice and despite the fact he had only one week to prepare, turned out brilliantly.

^ No. I like sleep. And I'm not a morning person really. < Wishes the time for the TPR trips would hurry up and arrive. v Is coming on one of the TPR trips much to the confusion of his/her friends and family

People who don't wash/don't put on deodorant & go out to the mall. The shops then smell of their fetid selves and to top that off, they try on clothes. Yuuuuuuuuuuuckkk! Basic hygiene is not hard, people...

I was in NYC in January 2000/2005. Both times very cold but lovely. Seeing the photos of Rockefeller Center takes me back but didn't skate either time; will next time though. What was strange was that our friend wanted us to take pictures of it for her and actually rung up while we were there doing that. Parents were over in the US in November and Mum didn't like NYC as much this time of year... the place felt busier and less friendly. Both times I've been there though I have mainly found the people fantastic aside from a few. Do you have any particular standout memories of rude people there this visit? You didn't go out to Coney Island at all? Thanks for sharing the pics, Soren.

ride in scooby-doo movie
Zen Coaster replied to christianscoasters's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have a couple of bits of footage but yeah, it is way too dark to really capture properly - that's the appeal though - for half the ride, you're in a really dark room with lasers going everywhere - very psychadelic. I do this ride every time I go to the park. Would prefer our own Haunted Mansion over this still but hey, it's a very nice combination of dark ride and wild mouse. -
EPCOT: Okay, this is what I would do. I would skip all the educational attractions/shows in Future World (and Honey I Shrunk the Audience is dross), they're pretty boring eg the Ellen one. Go straight to Mission Space & Test Track. Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion (how can you not go to this? ), Big Thunder Mountain Railway, Buzz Lightyear MGM: Rock'n'Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Star Tours, Indiana Jones show Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest, Killamanjaro Safari, Kali River Rapids (which I didn't end up doing as it was a really cold day when I did AK) Note that I'm not necessarily saying you could fit this all in on one day but these are the things to hit in each for the parks you choose to visit. But you definitely want to hit IoA for Duelling Dragons & Hulk. Yet again I didn't hit Dudley Do-Right or Jurassic Park River Adventure because of the day being cold but they are ones to do. JPRA I did in Hollywood and it was fun. DDR looks like a perfect combination of great theming and high level of wetness. The park in general is excellent.

Wiggles World
Zen Coaster replied to savemagicmountain's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Will be quite bizarre to see non-Australia based Wiggles Worlds when I'm over there next year. I know! Personally, I can't wait for The Wiggles to now cover Nessun Dorma.
