There's EASILY more than one great ride at that park. Thunderhead Tornado Slidewinder (I'm sure the Topple Tower will be great) Good and original rides.

I like the name, wish we had a ride to pin it on, though.

Would make sense... They've got enough world-class rides to get it started.

I've never been to DLP, so I can't share an opinion, but I go to WDW every year. One thing I've noticed is DLP's Studios is going to really improve over th enext couple of years with the new Tower Of Terror, Crush's Turtle Twister and the cars ride. I hope to someday go to DLP, interesting to read your opinion of the place, it doesn't seem to get talked about much.

Nothing can be worse than Kingda Ka AND Top Thrill Dragster's premier-year queue waits. We're talking 7 hours on Saturdays...

Taller than 60'... ALMOST rules out a family ride. Hopefully it's a new B&M, but really, who knows. I'm not heading down there until they build a new coaster, but I am looking forward to riding Darkastle, great to hear they CARE about the quality of the ride, and are already adding enhancements.

I've been on SFNE's Superman Ride Of Steel hundreds of times, hands down my favorite coaster. Others that I really enjoyed were SheiKra, Nitro, Millennium Force, Storm Runner and Apollo's Chariot.

$40.00 for the Skycoaster?!?! For 10 bucks more you could get into any theme park. I guess it's worth the rush if you're into that sort of thing. I'm personally terrified of Skycoasters, I've only done SFNE's which was also expensive. Great Sea World photos, bro. I go there every October, the environment is very nice, especially the new waterfront. Me and Ali always eat at the Seafire Inn, which usually has a great live piana performance. This past October, we had the whole place to ourselves and had a private show. The environment of the whole place is really what brings me back every year. Oh wait, forgot about Kraken, Atlantis, sea creatures, and free beer... That place just kicks ass. Looking forward to the waterpark opening up.

I agree, looks much better than I had anticipated. I most likely will not get to this one in '06 but I think I'll get to La Ronde's. Thanks to all for the great photos. Good to see progress.

Creative, professional, brilliant... That ride isn't even good enough for any park including Disney. If Dinosaur and the Kilimanjaro safaris weren't at AK, that would be a great addition. Keep up the art! I haven't seen talent like that in like... never mind, I never have seen talent like that. All I can say is wow... let's see some more stuff!

There's a general feeling of respect in the posts... unlike most other forums. And you pretty much find out something new about a theme park everyday... Like ANOTHER rocket coaster headed to Asia. This site kicks ass.

Well, I'd imagine with all the concrete they've already poured we'll know soon enough. I'd bet the lift drops right into that raven turn. Sick.

I wouldn't count it as a coaster, but that's just one man's opinion. Hopefully that rust color isn't in the final color scheme but I would imagine it is, the green's OK. Just good to see them get something new without taking something else away.

I could see another park surviving in Maine. Funtown USA seems to be doing pretty well, they've added an S&S tower a couple years ago, and those can't be too cheap.
